Will he be selected to play tomorrow?
Are The Posh preparing for the play-offs now?
Do they accept they do not have a realistic chance of achieving automatic promotion this season?
If JCH is selected to start tomorrow the answer is YES, YES and YES.
Jonson Clarke-Harris started 14 out of 15 matches for Peterborough United between August and October, scoring 6 goals.
Since that time he has started just 3 times in 24 matches, scoring 7 goals.
He has been mainly used as a substitute in the dying moments of games.
On 17 occasions out of the 24 appearances he was used in the last 12 minutes.
Something about this pattern suggests that he might be as fresh as a daisy if he plays.

Why would he start tomorrow when Posh have made it clear they don't want to play him?

Why would he start tomorrow when Posh have made it clear they don't want to play him? Just to show how sh** he really is now.

He is better than Chris Martin and has plenty more years left in the tank.

Why would he start tomorrow when Posh have made it clear they don't want to play him? because they have injuries and may decide to rest players for the play offs now autos are unlikley. Not difficult is it?

Not difficult is it? You sense they'd rather play a youngster if that's the case and just let JCH have his usual 10/15 mins run out to pick up his appearance bonus. Hopefully that's the case anyway or you can see JCH will want to show what we've missed out on this season.

Anyone still want him after today? Certainly take him on a free on a two yr contract but only at a reasonable weekly wage . Paying near to a million pounds 6 months ago would of been absolute lunacy.

Thought Baggott had him in his pocket as Kilgour used to. Not the answer for me. We. Need. Pace.

Talking absolute garbage, Rovers cannot attract or either afford a pacy goal scoring forward; imo JCH would be a great addition, that said, you probably will not need to worry, he is probably going to sign for one of those rubbish teams like Wrexham. They wont be a threat next season, hahaha

Why would when he was the Golden Boot winner the previous two seasons, not sure you can judge him on a meaningless end of season game. Particularly when he always seems to play poorly v Rovers.

The very poorly supported Peterborough had it in abundance; mainly resting on the bench. Have a good summer PH 😛

My preference would be JCH if we can make it happen and try to find a talented but raw young striker the coaching staff can work with - I don’t want to write off another season by putting all our eggs in one basket with a wildcard punt on an unproven young striker.

But you’d out all your eggs (wages wise) to jch? Not for me. I want exciting fast football. Take a risk. Make money on good calls like Boro do. Stop being a retirement home

Like I said bring in a raw talent who the staff can work with and give him minutes from the bench - we can’t ignore the here and now by gambling that a complete novice will suddenly come good. The chances of someone completely untried coming in and firing us to a playoff place will be very poor. We’d be very fortunate to have a big gamble pay off and another poor season would be a more likely outcome.
