The fact we haven't signed one single player and the existing players are also showing no signs of signing their new contracts, hardly suggests we're run by anything but useless fools. I hope Almondsbury Gas isn't walking his dog when we return to training, as both of them might be asked to take part in order to boost the numbers. But you still believe they are clever enough to fake interest in players and get all sorts of media to report it ok. I bet there are 3 or more signed already you don’t know about. Chill, window opens ina week. How much do you want to bet? |

I missed the part where the club told us about the bid?? Wasn't it a Scottish paper that reported it?? So unless we have good contacts to there, it was hardly a publicity stunt. Are you saying we shouldn't attempt to sign any playing that Charlton or bigger clubs are trying to sign?? I was told that Conteh turned down bigger clubs, as he thought he could develope better under Taylor. Maybe we shouldn't have bothered trying to sign him?! 100% correct on what you said about Conteh. He turned down 2 offers from L1 clubs and Taylor was the deciding factor in him coming to the club. L1 clubs aren't necessarily "bigger" clubs. |

Chill, window opens ina week. It hardly takes much effort to put in a bid for a player. The hard part is getting them to sign on the dotted line. So far they've only got Conteh to do that, even Hoole, Sinclair and Rossiter don't seem to have done that yet. |

What if we give it a month and we’ve still done barely any business? If we had the majority of a squad in place already it wouldn’t matter too much if we took our time and brought new signings in late. However, we’re not in that position and instead need to get a lot of first XI players in and ideally ready for day one of preseason to give them the best chance to settle in and gel. IMO not panic stations yet but I will start to be really worried if not much happens in the next few weeks. |

Remember the 'paper' cups to have a plastic free stadium? I have heard from a reliable source that this season, we are taking on an item from the Conservative manifesto. We are going to have 10 members of the squad under conscription on a rotating basis. Well done Rovers for thinking outside the box. UTG |

UTG Players have to pay £15 a game for their shirts and the laundry. They have to print their names and numbers at home too or show the ref a QR code. |

Isn't that the case with most players out of contract in the summer, or at least for a few months, clearly not all of them rush to sign contracts with new clubs once the window opens. |
