Pretty sure James Connolly, Connor Taylor and Luke Thomas were all pretty decent and helped along with EA to help us get Promotion in Bartons second Year, but like everything its just my opinion. Lewis Gibson and Josh Coburn wern't Bad either the following year. Many would say Harvey Vale but i thought he was pretty average. But he shipped Connolly out last season, Macca has not improved though limited appearances. He was our player then not a loanee.. Also Macca has been a a bit unlucky, but we dont play a style that suits him at all. HE played in a friendly against Villa, a we played a younger Team second half but although he played the 90 we one the match and apparently he was head and shoulders better than any other player on the pitch ( that included Douglas Luiz ) There is a player in Macca and we may see more of him next season when Evans Leaves. |

I have a really short memory. Apart from EA, who did he get a tune out of? Many would say Harvey Vale but i thought he was pretty average. 2 of the 3 players we signed in loan in January were pretty decent and international players. Most clubs can bring in loan players easily enough now, as the big clubs have loads of players!! Barton didn't seem to get players from a regular club, was that because they were not happy? Although Bogarde re signed on loan and Thomas signed on a permanent. |
