Joey Barton has apologised to Jeremy Vine and agreed to pay him £75,000 in damages and his legal costs over defamation and harassment claims.
A High Court judge ruled last month that comments ex-footballer Mr Barton made about Mr Vine on X were defamatory.
Mr Barton wrote on X on Tuesday: "I apologise to him for the distress he has suffered."

Regardless I'd imagine is NDA states that he can't say anything negative about Rovers in the future, given the likes of BG & PT have never uttered a word about their time at Rovers.

A self enforced social media ban for Joey is like Katie Price vowing to go celibate. From previous posts he seems to think he can say what he wants in Jan, and going by recent events he does say whatever he wants regardless of consequences. |
