Sadly I think JB has too much time on his hands which leads to him spending time posting rubbish on social media. The way he expresses his views means people are less likely to take him seriously. He could have made valid points about the qualifications of football pundits, but because of the childish way in which he expresses his views with name calling etc no one is going to listen. Can't help but wonder if some of the comments are made when he is not in the most rational frame of mind given there is a history of drink issues etc. Sadly people can behave very differently when under the influence. In truth I think he probably needs help and I would agree with court action if it led to him getting some help, I fear whatever sentence is passed won't help him with his underlying issues. Pretty sad to see really, was at his best during our promotion season - he had the potential to be a good manager but his demons mean his career is probably over. I was thinking the exact same thing myself, when he was actually busy working in management and coaching he never spent this much time on social media and when he did he was very careful with his choice of words for the fear of the powers from above. Now that he has no one to really answer to but himself he has free rein to spout what he likes when he likes. Before long he will get a social media ban banning him from all social media platforms. Shame really as I think he has the ability to be a very good manager/coach if he knuckled down I thought the whole point was that JB had decided to become a social media influencer, not that he had too much time on his hands he was spending it on X? |
