Honesty have come close to deleting this damn account, but for now lets look forward...
We need a reaction after Saturday. Griffiths being the main culprit, needs to show what we have all seen in previous games, hopefully his confidence isnt as fragile! Comp for his place is needed. Defence will need to deal with loss of Moore. Hopefully Taylor can come back to form when starting as everytime he has come on, we have looked worse. Can Hunt play? Hopefully a rested Conteh and a fit Lyndsay give us some steel in the middle.
I think unless Hunt is in favour, we have to stick to 3 at the back, so would go....
Griffiths Wilson Taylor Mola Thomas Conteh Lyndsay Bilongo Forde Omochere Sotiriou
Or possibly another CM (Ward?) instead of Sotiriou

Totally know how you feel and with some of the nonsense being posted about people off to Carlisle and the mission of a few to alienate MT I'm not sure I have as much in common with the so called fans on here as I once thought.
Anyway - Nothing physically wrong with Jack Hunt I heard so surely now makes sense to switch to a back four ?
MT hinted he wants Connors height now for set pieces so expecting him back in some way or another.
Griffiths in goal -
Back Four - Hunt Taylor Wilson Mola
Midfield has been a shambles with Grant Ward atrocious so hoping a fit Lindsay will add some bite
Midfield - Thomas Conteh Lindsay Bilongo
Last Saturday Sotiriou looked like a Sunday pub player and didn't look like he gave a toss so I would bench him and give Forde the responsibility to link with Promise.
Attack - Forde just behind Promise.
If MT and Hunt are still not talking then the three at the back - Garrett + Conteh and Lindsay across the midfield - LT one side and Bilongo on the other
Forde and Promise up front.
Hoping for the best but sensing we will be the catalyst for another teams improvement to a poor start to their season.

Don’t worry about the miserable gits , every club has them who relish a few defeats. It’s the same people every time moaning about managers and the board for yrs & yrs 🙄
Anyway onto the match …. A notoriously difficult ground to go to for us and they are a decent side . Any sort of result would be a bonus but more likely a loss. Saturday night will be fun on here if that happens ! I’m going for a draw 😃

Unless Hunt has done something ridiculous MT should do what is best for the club and play his best team. We must surely be switching to a back four and that means Hunt has to play if fit. With Moore missing Taylor needs to come in and won’t weaken us at all - he’s a future captain for me and needs to be in the side in a regular basis. Mola easily slots across to leftback.
I don’t think a traditional 4-4-2 really works anymore and would have Lindsay, Conteh and Garrett in midfield - Garrett being the more advanced of the three. Up top LT and Shaq either side of Promise.
I’ve no concerns on Griffiths. I don’t think a lack of competition had anything to do with last weeks performance in the same way it had no effect on his previous man of the match performances.

MT has already stated that Hunt will not be considered for any future games, unless it's an issue that can now be resolved this week, then he clearly won't be considered.
I thought we looked worse than ever in midfield without Ward so if he's now fit he's got to return, I also can't see MT moving from his favoured back 3 and we don't seem to have a RB anyway if Hunt still isn't being considered.
Sotiriou scored at Barnsley so I'd give him another game, as I've not seen enough of Forde to suggest he's a No 10 or any better.
Hopefully MT doesn't start with Hutch or McCormick when he can now, hopefully, put out this side:
Griffith
Wilson Taylor Mola
Thomas Conteh, Lindsay Ward Bilingo
Sotiriou Omochere

I'll include Hunt if the rumour is he is fit

------Lindsay----Conteh------ Ward-----

MT has already stated that Hunt will not be considered for any future games This is incorrect. He is actually quoted as saying "We don't expect him to feature in the near-future" which is very different.

Sorry if my memory let me down with one single word, regardless the clear indication is he's now fit but still won't be considered. Although I wouldn't be surprised with both Moore and Senior now missing he backs tracks on that comment.

Either he wants him to prove he's fully fit in training before being considered or they've had some kind of fall out?

If Taylor is to be the man then this is a game he really needs to be getting something from. Another hammering and a loss at home to Wycombe could well be the end for him. I hate losing as many do but if we are to loose we have to at least put up a performance and look like we have a game plan. Over to you Taylor! 3-1 posh for me.

A fit Hunt gets in my side every week
Let’s hope it’s a scenario where he’s desperate to get that shirt on!!
If he’s available I’d go 4-3-3
GRIFFITHS
HUNT TAYLOR WILSON MOLA
LINDSAY CONTEH WARD
THOMAS CHERRY FORDE
This at least gives us a threat up top, and that back four is pretty solid.
If he’s not available we would have to play a back 3, although I presume Forbes is now in the frame?
You could play WILSON/TAYLOR/FORBES/MOLA
either way we need a response from Saturday, we are missing leaders and voices on the pitch, something Hunt hopefully still has to offer.
Let’s let a front 3 give the opposition something to worry about!!

There is recovery from injury and then there is being match fit. I see the two as being different. Recovering from injury and joining the squad for training is different from being match fit and available for match day selection. Across many threads, you just seem to be making anti MT rhetoric. We know you have an agenda that you started in preseason, trying to ramp pressure on the team due to the amount of funds being used and not recognising what we have lost. Now you are making out that there is an argument between MT and JH. That just looks like you are making stuff up for attention, there really is no need for it.

My only agenda is to enjoy watching Rovers play and seeing us win, and also draw, the odd game, that's been fairly rare since MT was appointed. We've a strange fan base if that's an issue for some and they enjoy seeing us perform badly and lose games.
You seem to be some sort of denial about how poorly we're performing, claiming you didn't hear the half time booing everybody else heard, which by the way didn't involve me, before you accuse me of booing.
Let's see what Saturday brings as I wouldn't be surprised if Hunt's not at least on the bench, if he is perhaps you'll accept he is match fit.
