It isnt rocket science. Look at the teams we bloody played. My granny could have scored against most of them and Lines made no bigger contribution than anyone else. In fact if you really want to look at the goals we scored the majority came down the left hand side from Brown and Mionkhouse. In 11 games we scored 27 goals, of those 27, 15 came in three games against three really sh** sides. So we scored 12 in the remaining 8. No more than we had been scoring all season. The reason i wont give Lines anymore credit than anyone else is because quite simply i think he is over-rated. But best of all it doesn't matter what i think, it is what DC thinks that matters and he has dropped the useless git and we are winning and scoring freely and guess what, i am not in the slightest bit surprised. This 'love in' with Lines amuses me as the opposition see him as our weakness but our own fans are too blind to see it. When CL commands a midfield week in week out and stands out from the rest then he will get praise from me. He is not capable of either so dont hold your breathe. And i am not the only one who thinks it. Thankfully you are right 'it does not matter what you think'. In the interests of openness and transparency...that wasn't me

Saved me writing it!!!! Too good for us includes Randall, Willlams, Barrett, Mabbutt, Martyn, Stewart, Hayles, Roberts, Lambert to name a few! I can't speak for all of those but the last few went on to better things after 'making' it with us. Did any of them step down to play for us? We're any of them International players whilst with us or beforehand? Clarkson had already plied his trade in England's 2nd tier, Scotland first team, Scotland B and the Scots prem. He was played out of position for us and was a clearly yards ahead of most of our side mentally and technically. He blew out of his ar5e because he ran himself into the ground whilst out of position and I didn't see many others putting in the same shift. He never moaned, sulked, got into mischief or gave up. He was with us as one of Mcghees pals which doesn't help but out of all of those, he was the best.

Be dull if we all agreed I guess.

Once again, Clarkson was the best footballer we've had in years.

Yeah, sorry I've been wrong all along.
60 appearances. 12 goals. Unable to hold down a place in his preferred position. Rarely completed 90 mins. Dropped down from a career high of playing at local giants Bristol City 1982 LTD where he was so awesome he failed to add to his 2 friendly caps where he came on as a sub both times.
Best player we've ever had.
Cheers guys.
