If we had just tinkered in January with what we had then we would have been chasing play offs instead of worrying about relegation. . Please, this is insane. 1st of January - 9 points off the Playoffs & 11 off the Relegation Spots. 31st of January - 13 points off the Playoffs & 10 off the Relegation Spots. End of the Season - 19 points off the Playoffs & 13 off the Relegation Spots. It was never on either way and would have been a total waste of money.

I agree with that Steve. No way is he 6ft 2inches tall. The same was said about Michael Poke many years ago, and he wasn't the height stated either. The GK Simkin next to Ward is 6ft 2in. Maybe he's stood further back.

A club without a plan, joined up thinking and sh** recruitment. We've had plans, but we have changed them too much to suit the managers. Started off with a development squad and looking to to sign young players. That changed completely under Barton though, when he decided to put the budget into the first team squad instead and sign mainly experienced players for the here and now. Now it looks like we are going back to the original method. We need to have a long term plan, that stays in place, who ever the manager is! Yes, the manager needs a bit of say, but that does not mean ripping everything up and starting again every time! I like the sound of our current plan, but hopefully we can achieve it this time and not change as soon as we hit a few hurdles. Exactly the issue. You should be able to replace parts but the machine remains the same... Even if it does become a bit Trigger's Broom.

You think, as a Club, Ground, infrastructure, we're ready for the Championship? No chance, hence the 3 years references. We need to balance the playing side with making real progress here. Buying promotion will only lead to more debt on the credit card with little to no longer term benefit. It's frustrating that plans have been repeatedly kicked down the road for boom and bust stuff really. I'm hoping we are building short and long term plans around ensuring the feasibility of the club going forward over everything. I'd argue we're 15-20 years behind in regards to the three things that baggins mentioned.

In other toilet news when St Pauli hosted Hansa Rostock the other week they closed their usual toilets because Rostock Ultras would always smash them up. They did however put portaloos on for the visiting supporters. Pauli offered €1,000 to Hansa's youth set up for every portaloo not smashed up. Creative thinking! How many portaloos survived intact? All bar one, they had to do one over.

Talking of the toilets always recall a rare interview with Mr Wael when we were expecting details of a new stadium and when asked he said,'I have improved the club shop and provided new hand Driers in the gents'. Not exactly what we were hoping for.

Hopefully the toilets get sorted then! believe the screen will be showing highlights of successful toilets working from the past. Like the open brickwall of 1953. Why do we need a screen anyway? Because we live in the 21st century. Customer expectation. Hopefully the toilets get sorted then!

Do we think we'll ever get to a point where people don't think local media coverage is crap/bias/woke/whatever the latest moan? Probably not.

Club can't win really. Some say we are a tinpot outfit with insufficient backroom staff to manage the club. Others say we are overstaffed and bloated and wasting money. Those who wish we were still Ragbag and don't realise we're a League 1 outfit and its 2024! I think the footballing side of the business will become leaner, it was quite bloated under Barton. People that seem to think we don't need a Goalkeeping Coach are utterly insane though.

I wouldn't offer him anything to be honest. Stinks of a Tareiq Holmes-Dennis, Garry Kenneth, Adam Virgo, Jamie Shore etc etc etc "He'll be great when he's fit" as he drags around mangled legs for a further 2 years and 12 appearances. If he signs for us, he will probably get injured before the season starts. If he signs elsewhere, he will probably play 30+ games knowing our luck. Oh totally. League One team of the year pending if he leaves. I have a feeling this summer may be very boring but we'll actually put together a hard working set of pros who go about their work in the right way and end the season finishing around 14th.

The better offer thing is a bit of a grey area. A pay cut with a team in the North West could actually become a payrise. True. No surprise he is considering his options. Would be a bit annoying to get him 'fit' only for him to waltz off to somewhere else. I cant see him having anywhere near a full season though I wouldn't offer him anything to be honest. I cant see Rossiter getting a better offer anywhere else given his injury record. From the outside looking in I cant see many taking that risk. Maybe he will accept a lower wage from someone around the north west? The better offer thing is a bit of a grey area. A pay cut with a team in the North West could actually become a payrise.

A good player. If Rossiter has rejected his contract offer as Tilly's Thighs suggests, Morrell would be a quality addition. That was just a guess on my part! Tilly's Surmise.

On the flip side another legal bod suggested he reckons nothing will come of it according to a video I posted a few weeks back. I suspect the real winners will be the legal representatives They must love litigious, mouthy celebrities squabbling with each other on Social Media No, it's absolutely me who finds both parties involved to be absolute prats.

This lends itself quite nicely to the FA Cup replay lark.
Clubs only seem to be bothered by things that impact them financially rather than effect their fans or are for the greater sporting good. Football League clubs have rolled over and had their collective bellies tickled time, after time looking for extra cash (EFL Trophy B Teams, New Sky Deal both come to mind) but as soon as they are impacted negatively financially it's open letter time. The sooner we see collective organisation by fans across the board, the sooner we get change. Unfortunately petty rivalries will get in the way and we'll end up with it becoming harder and harder to get to matches, especially away.

And alot on here only a few weeks ago were claiming to any body who would listen "we've got our Rovers back"; at least Joey has a band of brothers, monotone Matt could have a party in a telephone box, knobby no mates. Out of interest why would you want an obvious racist and sexist still managing Rovers? www.thelondoneconomic.com/sport/bankruptcy-awaits-joey-barton-as-libel-cases-filed-374266/At least MT seems a better human being than the last manager. Hence why some posters felt we'd got our Rovers back. Don't forget soon to be bankrupt.

What if the bin was the only witness...? Presumably an open and shut case. They'll probably end up in prison but tell their neighbours they've gone travelling. We'll know where they've wheely bin.

Max Alleyne worth a poke? Father working back in BS7, Rovers have a good history with developing PL players in the last few years.
