😀 Is this your proposal for next season’s away kit? I applaud your choice of medium; it’s more visceral than a flat 2D Photoshop rendering. I also sympathise with your dilemma as pink top left looks better but could jeopardise potential sponsorship from Mr Kipling.

Longest current winning streak in English football apparently - fair play 👏 AC & DC, with their winning formula, don’t take a “touch too much!” 😂

It's a big birthday for me today so the least the boys can do is give me a present of three points. Mine too! (well, big one plus a bit) Here's hoping for a VERY Happy Birthday. Got the special 1990's Habitat crockery out for good luck. Attachment Deleted

So you are picking on the Rich for not living in Bristol? As that the point you are trying to make? Rich lives in Hertford, and what? Absolutely. But more to the point I have been to Hertford's ground many times and the Real Pub down the road is one of the best in Hertfordshire. Ranked closely to the Mermaid opposite St Albans City's ground. How do I know this?...because I am the devil incarnate. Plus, you need to change your user name, its ridiculous. It makes sense if you are Beelzebub because Hertford Town used to play in red and white quarters! 😂 How do I know this,...because the wife’s grandfather used to be chairman back in the 60/70s.

I agree. Stadiums were once a symbol of civic pride but are now seen as both a transport and potential disorder problem pushing them to the periphery of a city. For me it was one of the disappointments of the UWE location (plus the overtly functional appearance of the design) and the opposite of the potential of the FM site.

Have you been doing that dinner party trick the Romans and Charlemagne used to do of throwing an asbestos tablecloth into a fire and amazing your guests as it comes out untouched, clean and white?

Owned by Dwayne sports int it? No doubt they’ll sell it, recoup the profits and do a runner when the loose change in Waels money jar runs out. You dont get honest, loyal supporters like Geoff as owners any more. No, you don't. Very sadly the way the game has gone since the 1990s makes that very difficult unless said honest, loyal supporter/owner is very rich. The only one around here plumped for the other lot. Get real, it's life, move on. What about Hargreaves? Is his favourite colour blue? 😉

If this is true (IF) it's pretty damning. No wonder Barton is banging on about a cancer at the club. I was really shocked to hear it tbh - but there you are. To give you some context, it was an online BRFC Community event. Two players (both of whom are senior squad members) were invited to join and take questions form the participants. The question was asked about what differences there were between the three managers training methods. As I recall, the answers were that Garner was good and the player believed he had potential if he had more time. Barton & co had come in and they had brought a lot of positivity. However the player said that under Tisdale there were'nt really any drills - and that was literally all he said about that. He had a definite smirk on his face as he said it, and I have no idea what he actually meant by it. I remember thinking at the time that his comment that the “players need to motivate him” did seem a bit like Steiner School ethos. Maybe he was hoping that if he gave them free reign to practice as they saw fit, throw in a bit of art and “circle time”, they would all feel comfortable expressing themselves with imaginative play on the pitch. 😂

There’s a lot of different textures there. Is it Japanese inspired?

I am aware that there are posters on here that do not like my views on the recruitment of Barton. But I will say this. If a manager or anyone in this position has something to say over the employees performance, it would be dealt with behind closed doors and not broadcast in the local rag. This is not the way to motivate, only to destroy. I expect it's some sort of calculated and deliberate last-ditch effort to get a reaction before it's too late. At least, I would hope so. Does anyone know if there was any bad blood between JB and ME from their time at QPR? In the Post article JB acknowledges that they know each other but it didn’t sound like there was mutual respect and some people can carry a grudge for a long time. I still hate the kid who used to stand on my foot at Judo practice at the YMCA in Kingswood in 1974, aged six.

...it’s worse than that; it must be like suffering from “locked-in syndrome” when you are screaming inside but everyone around you carries on as normal. 😱

Anssi must start drop Alfie rest Brandan, play a high press, would get Tom mehew on the bench and Tomlinson to continue the high press need some fresh legs. It is s$$$ or bust time! Any casualties on Everest yet? They have not even reached base camp yet! That’s because they weren’t paying attention and are huffing and puffing up K2!

I think that we will see some fresh blood in the team today, with a point to prove, which will make all the difference. We will obviously concede one but goals from Ayunga and the Wizard of Oz will see us come out on top.

My teacher told me I was just average at maths, always came across as a bit mean. Did you find your niche in life as a medium? Ark at “2.71828...” 😂

My Maths teacher said I was an idiot and I would never get a worthwhile job. He was right, I’m a Maths teacher.... no I’m kidding, I’m still an idiot. My Maths teacher called me a total failure too. I’ve lied on all of my job applications and my CV that I got a C in maths. I can’t even count to C. Are Eucliding? 😂

If we were to go for a covered pitch the more usual form is a PVC fabric on lightweight steel trusses, I.e. a “rigid tent” structure,...lol. Fortuitously, the internationally renowned company who provided the indoor pitches at St. George’s and the David Beckenham Football Academy is a former Bristol company, Architen Llandrell, who are now based in Chepstow.

Just listened to JB’s post match interview and once again he got it spot on with positivity, humour and respect. 👍
