We probably won't get a new stadium under the current regime, however, the training ground has no bearing on that. They said it was on hold, until a stadium was sorted. When we are losing as much money as we are, that was the right decision. So even if they were looking for sites and had backers in place, we still wouldn't have built the training ground. We need to sort out, where we are training next season though, if we haven't already. They shouldn't have announced plans to move in on certain dates then if they couldn't back it up. "Moving in March 2017". Ha. Talk of Category Two as well etc. Pure fantasy. Looking at it from a purely business perspective I suspect they thought they could tweak the planning consent to allow for additional development (housing), even though it is within the green belt, to help part fund the training ground and were surprised when it got knocked back. Coupled with the perceived higher than anticipated cost and the loss of momentum over the UWE debacle it was probably going to tie up too much of the families cash with no realistic return to interest outside investors. That basically made it too expensive to proceed with at the present time until additional revenue streams are available from other activities (I.e. a new stadium). It also doesn’t help that the Jordanian economy isn’t as buoyant as when they first took over.

Obviously not for this Coronovirus necessarily, but to prevent or fight off flu and such like, I always swear by a mixture oranges, lemon, manuka honey, black cumin, mugwort, plenty of garlic and...rum. As a pirate the latter is essential. Have you been watching the Medieval doctor sketch in Horrible Histories?

Unforseen circumstance and postponement may be a result of Wael not wanting to fly and travel through airports due to Coronaldo virus at this time...just a guess!... It's such a shame that no technology exists that would allow Wael/Starnes to communicate when they are anywhere other than in the media room under the West Stand. Unfortunately the last few pigeons released in Jordan only made it as far as a pizza in Italy (exported to Jock-land), hence the ongoing communication hiatus.

Gorringe tweeted that a few unforseen circumstances pushed it back, but it's on its way. I’m surprised that they (the club, and ideally the PR department not an individual) don’t engage with this forum in an official capacity. Let’s be honest, Gaschat is the principle source of rumour and misinformation outside of the terraces (unless you count the gas guzzling Judean People’s Front) that could be nipped in the bud if they bothered to stay abreast of the issues skilfully debated on these pages.

Bloody vegans..awkward lot aren't they I actually like a lot of it.... Falafel and dal are great, the problem I have with it is that if you eat out you pay like a fiver for something you can make for 30p at home.... ...and then there are the aromatic after effects! 😮💨

Ok, I looked it up:
double defn. / to RABBIT can be to talk emptily, or gas; and a RABBIT can be a tail-end batsman in cricket – hence ‘crappy player’ – although they are usually good bowlers!
Well done Yattongas

Didn't Trollope once say something along the lines of: "We're much better when we don't have the ball" Well that’s just “the way we live now”.

I was looking through some photos at work today and spotted a Gas sticker on a kitchen door in a Cardiff Uni hall of residence (Nevern). I paused briefly, muttered a few words of surprise and appreciation then reflected upon the courage of the unknown Gashead potentially exposing themselves to ridicule and physical harm but prepared to stand up for the club they believe in whilst deep in enemy territory. What unexpected places have you seen evidence of our loyal support and have you got the proof?

Didn’t BG say a week or two ago that the performances were really good and we’ve just been unlucky so at some point we are going to thrash someone. Saturday would seem like a good time to put that plan into action.

May not have been ready. But at least we would of had a crack at it. Bigger crowds. more exposure better players signed. Some live games on tv that earned us more then 10000. What was there not to like. May of lost more then we won but what's the difference from what we have at the moment? ...and don’t forget a chance to resume bragging rights in the local fixture.

You might not like Darragh MacAnthony, but you have to respect him as an operator:
“It was vitally important for us as owners to spend time talking with supporters about our long-term vision for the football club and we listened to views at a fans forum and have engaged with supporters’ groups as well as having discussions on social media.”
