Sounds like they won’t be touching the terracing that remains which frankly makes the project sound underwhelming and as if it will be done on the cheap "But we will be looking to increase the capacity to around 16 to 17,000 from this level plus have more seated stadium than now. We hardly have about 5,000 at the moment with the South Stand but we will take that to about 12,000, maybe 13,000 seated. I’d be really interested to see how you can fit in 7000 extra seats without touching the terracing “on the cheap” And I wouldn’t say that increasing capacity by 25% and a seating increase from 40% to 75% of capacity is underwhelming considering out track record…assuming it gets built of course Not the shiny new stadium many have dreamed of, but hopefully it’s actually deliverable and without the need for any canvas or posts!

Fair comment. But it is also a bit strange that he has done his farewells to the club before the season has ended and the retained list being announced along with the good bye and thank you post from Wael. Perhaps it isn't poor form from the club but it is odd that they have gone away from the norm for him. Tom Lockyer announced he was leaving prior to our last game of the season in 2018/19, I see this as similar. Again that wasn’t the club with Tom, but GT. With Sam, this is (presumably) his decision to go public for his own reasons, at which point it Wael did the right thing and acknowledged (and if he didn’t reply he’d be criticised too!) I guess if he’s injured it might simply be him marking his last time with the group all together at a match. Simple as that

Each year we have out of contract players that leave, and likely know in advance they are off, yet the club wait until after the season ends to announce departures.
How people can say the club not announcing Sam’s departure with two games left to go as poor form is beyond me.
He’s been a good servant and I wish him all the best, but to make out that we (or he) has been robbed of a grand farewell is a bit much in my opinion

What has been the biggest improvement in your eyes then? I know you don’t like the South Stand and despite all the rain we had it never collapsed like you suggested it would. When did the West stand get built? It was under construction when we moved in

When Coughlan left and we went into free fall after the appointment of Garner - we were told to give him chance to rebuild with a new philosophy in the summer. Remind me, did that go well??? It ended with Barton getting us relegated. Ok wasn’t trying to go down a JB related route but remember we had a manager who couldn’t get a performance out of a group who showed promise, spent the summer ripping it all up to start again and lumbering us with a squad that nobody could get results from, saw us relegated and took a couple of years to wait out the contracts of players nobody wanted

There are 84 tickets remaining for this event as at today and therefore I suspect they'll become generally available as of tomorrow. Ultimately it is our opportunity as fans to ask questions of the club that people feel should be asked. It's a chance to hold the owners and ceo to account, there's little point in moaning unless you're prepared to try and do something about it! No one is being 'excluded', it's a BRSC run event and therefore it's only right that BRSC members have first opportunity at tickets, but as I've said above it looks like they'll become generally available as of tomorrow unless there's a late 'rush' today! Let's see how many are prepared to ask the difficult questions on 29th, I suspect there are a number of people on here and social media who like to hide behind their keyboards and moan, but aren't prepared to put their heads above the parapet and make their feelings known to those who actually run our football club! I do feel excluded. There will be supporters club members who do not have a season ticket. Season ticket holders should be erolled as a supporters club member automatically (and at no additional charge). Why is the opinion or questions from a season ticket holder any more important than any other? You could argue hearing from a disenfranchised fan who doesn’t attend is as valid if not more so? And before it’s mentioned, plenty of non-ST holders will put more money into the club per season so it’s not about £’s spent. Not sure how you could be auto enrolled into the SC given they are separate entities. I guess the SC could offer free membership to St holders if they thought it would bring extra eyes and funds to their activities. Perhaps attend and ask that of the fans director?

I couldn’t see any signs of services on the concourse floor that would support the toilets/food outlets. Peeking behind the black netting as you enter a block you can see there isn’t any room to set these back into the underside of the stand due to the framework so they would have to sit proud into the concourse. Would be rather cozy with them inside imo. Still think placing them on the overgrown patch on the SW corner would have been best. No chance of that being allowed now.

South stand tents had no rear access. The only separation was a sheet. Some clubs were allowed 300 others allowed 600 some used the entire south stand. The sheet was moved around like a yo yo. So you are suggesting that we block the entrance from the stand to the concourse? Isn’t there a gate underneath in the concourse to create segregation? I thought I saw that at the Blackpool game.

Does this drawing not also confirm that the toilets are staying outside and not in the concourse as previously stated/debated on here? It's from the biodiversity net-gain document, so not related to toilets. The main plans that do identify toilets still show 4 large and one small block positioned underneath the stand inside the concourse... Yes, however this document shows the portacabins and shipping containers outlined which are currently on site in those SW corner locations

It looks to me the map relates to the LEMP area i.e. the bit of scrub land the club now has to look after indefinitely, it also states that it's the "LEMP Plan" on page 9, with the plan itself on page 10. The document also states the the green shaded area is not included, that looks to me to be the area where properties 53 & 53a are situated. It's clearly not going to be an access point to the ground and BCC are never likely to give us PP to build anything whilst the Green's still have any power. Surprised nobody has picked up on the sums BCC have made us hand over to them before they'd grant PP it's the best part of £200K (plus the cost of installing the solar panels) just to build a stand allowing us a similar ground capacity we've always had in the past at the Mem. Meanwhile Wreham's council are handing their local club £m's to build a stand, BCC are effectively fining Rovers for building a stand!! The reason I was curious when I saw that map was because, having looked closely through all the previous planning documents as they were published, I don't recall it ever including or being linked to those two houses (see attached as one of the previous examples). Yes, having re-read the whole thing I can see that the LEMP land is that whole area (which I assume the club bought as a package at some point, houses and the 'dead space' in the SW corner of the site), and that the agreement is that only the scrub-land is covered by the agreement, but... ...no reason we couldn't explore a planning application to use the 'dead area' as an outdoor concourse-style area for South/South West Stand and then demolish the houses to create a new access point - yes, it would probably annoy some Downend Road residents, but it makes sense for a lot of good reasons, not least as it would mean easier access to the planned new railway station *and* would make life a bit easier for residents on the sides and to the north of the stadium as people won't have to walk all the way around to the north to enter the site... I’m sure whatever the club has planned, the local greens won’t let us remove all those beautiful brambles and discarded trampolines to make use of the land. Let’s not forget that they wanted us to make it accessible to the community during the South stand planning process.

If the owner's son is doing that then you do have to wonder what MT's doing to assist in the search, whilst JB didn't seem to have a scouting network he was still able to sign players like EA, LT & Coburn. MT seemed to lack a DoF at Rotherham and claimed that's why he struggled, its therefore a bit surprising he accepted the Rovers job when no DoF was in place. Hopefully it was promised and it will be in place well before the end of season Didn’t Holloway suggest he was set to come in part time in an upstairs role, but the new owners went quiet on the idea ?

Without taking in any rumours. The JCH situation was a farce and embarrassing, recruitment of a new manager was a farce, backroom team seems very light but we do finally have a South stand. For me, after getting rid/losing Barton the footballing side of things unfortunately does seem to have gone down the pan somewhat. To me bar the new stand it feels like same old rovers. League 2 to 1 yoyo club. We still have so much to do as a club to even think about the top end of this league let alone the one above. At this rate, we will be bottom half and thankful there are some really bad teams and points deductions this season. I just don't see anything changing without serious signings and it seems we have no plan and are just going to fizzle out into a rubbish season if not worse. Oh and what was the board stopping mangan bringing belshaw back all about? Weird Can only imagine the Belshaw element was due to a clause in the load agreement with Brentford and Cox? If we have a clause that we have to play him, or there are penalties in terms of who covers his wage if we don’t - that could explain not allowing the recall?? Pure guesswork trying to find some logic!

I was in the stand yesterday, have to say if they do insert the toilets into the concourse it’s going to be rather cramped. it doesn’t appear that they could be recessed behind the existing cladding. Appreciate the planning process was a bit of a nightmare with residents concerns over preserving the overgrowth, but the area behind the south stand nearest the west corner (that on google appears to be home to a trampoline or two) would have been a good place for catering and toilets, similar to the fanzone.

The letter states that the pack contains your 5 draw numbers - but mine doesn’t appear to, does anyone else’s?
