Well I'd agree with that. They seem to approach managing us with the same passion a new Building Society manager does. If that, even . . .

The owners are to blame for getting Taylor he was always the cheap option The board needs to set a target by the end of October . I would say we need to be top 10-12 . If he don't improve things then they need to act. Deep down they must be disappointed like most fans . They’re not fans . . .

Heard Rossiter is on his way also. Both going Stockport I’d be surprised if anything was lined up already after he’s only managed what 3 halves of football following a year and a half out with a knee injury - especially after a career littered with knee related absences. Indeed; and I know I’m probably being naive, given the mercenary nature of modern football, but you would kind of hope that he would give us at least an attempt at a full season as a Rovers player, given that the club’s been paying him whilst he’s spent so long out injured . . .

I've just updated a Monty Python sketch. 'Is this the right thread for an argument' Splitter It's "Is this the right argument for a thread" No, it’s “Being hit on the head” lessons in here

Why don't they just employ somebody good at PR, as I doubt just being honest with football fans ever sold season tickets. Why not say just something like: "MT has been given a competitive budget for next season and with the help of the new recruitment team we hope that he can put together a far more competitive, and fitter, squad than the previous manager managed last summer. Whilst our main aim is to continue to make progress in L1, hopefully, MT can put together a squad which could challenge for a top 8 or better finish Our main aim is still to get promoted to the Championship within the next 3 years or so" Shame you’re not the PR person then

David Icke being consistent with his stance on various matters is equally admirable (and equally tedious) Wael’s a shape shifting lizard. I knew it!!

Abdullatif suggested at the recent Q&A he was working virtually full time at Rovers, what evidence have you got he's spending a lot of time out of the country? Is he the son of the owner? Yes

Wael has to take some of the blame for this - I have not had a bad word to say about him since he took the club over, but I feel that he’s really sold us down the river (albeit probably inadvertently) by letting this bunch of clowns buy a controlling interest in the club. “The owner’s son is learning on the job” - it’s an EFL League 1 football club, not a Pop-up market stall, for f*ck’s sake! They clearly do not have a clue about football, Rovers or even us. The way this is going I can’t see any other outcome than them selling us off to try to recoup some of their losses in 6-12 months’ time, after they’ve turned our club into a complete basket case. I really hope I’m wrong, but I’ve been supporting Rovers for over 52 years now and I’ve never felt this despondent about the future of the club, even when we went to Twerton and the team were training at Fry’s . . . And if it’s true that the owner’s son reads this and other forums, then I hope he reads all this and decides to act like a grown-up and ASK FOR HELP!!

Not true I'm afraid, it's red no matter how much oxygen is in it. Correct its bright red and after travelling to the extremes of the body(hands etc) becomes a darker red. It is never blue. OK OK, I stand corrected. It appears blue in the veins due to the red portion of white light being refracted away by skin, fat and keratin. Bloody science . . . 😡

I’d go if Kayesy was doing it - I’d trust him over our owners any f*cking day. If you cut John he would actually bleed blue and white . He doesn't, it's red. Actually, technically it’s blue until it’s oxygenated . . .

John Kayes will be offering the same package for £350 a night. I’d go if Kayesy was doing it - I’d trust him over our owners any f*cking day. If you cut John he would actually bleed blue and white .

Club organises usually Med pre-season camp - why are we wasting money - where's the accounts. Club doesn't organise usual Med pre-season tours - we've clearly no money - where's the accounts to prove we've no money. Interesting. You normally make two entirely contradictory points over at least two posts but here you've saved time and intellectual bandwidth by doing it in one. Very well done you. Not sure you’re picking up on the sarcasm - try this version: Club organises usual Mediterranean pre-season camp; Fans: “Why are we wasting money - where are the accounts?” Club doesn't organise usual Mediterranean pre-season camp; Fans: “We've clearly no money - where are the accounts to prove we've no money?” Does that make more sense?

Don’t forget Maximum Roverdrive and their version of Irene!
And while we’re on the subject, the “January 7th 1956” song is actually called “Tote End Boys” and is by a local chap (English teacher, I think) called Ben Gunstone; apparently he is or was good friends with Alain Whyte, who is the guitarist for Morrissey, and has collaborated on a few songs with him.

It's hardly a surprise we don't need MPV's to transfer players around but I doubt that's the owners biggest financial worry. What's that recent tweet about them still owing £75,000 for arranging a loan/grant for the new stand all about? The new owners have not paid for the maintenance and servicing of the Veto’s, 6 months overdue, likely to go to court. They were used for the management team, some players got lifts in them. Jack Marriott, was on £800 a month relocation package at Fleetwood, took it and commuted from Northampton still every week, no one they are in trouble, he refused to move to Lancashire. When people say oh I hear he’s on £4K a week, they have no idea what makes up a contract, Finley and all of them will have relocation allowances. Why would they buy them in finance in the first place, rather than just lease them?

Day of absolute shame from these players masquerading as Bristol Rovers FC. I was at Tottenham 1977 losing 9-0 and today resembled that game. This Club was rotten then and still is now. God that was an awful day - I honestly thought we were going to get done like that again today at one point
