So thanks to the idiots at the FGR and Scunthorpe games we have reduced capacity.
FGR fans misbehaving is a separate issue but hope they have some sort of punishment

Reduced capacity in Thatchers end for first 2 home games. That is going to be difficult as both games are sold out!

Reduced capacity in Thatchers end for first 2 home games. That is going to be difficult as both games are sold out! Evidently we weren't sold out then... In order to achieve this reduced capacity, some fans will be moved from the Thatchers Terrace into the South Stand for the Forest Green game on 30th July. The fairest way of doing this is to move the supporters who purchased tickets last into other parts of the ground. This may mean moving some supporters into areas where they will be seated, rather than stood.
For the Oxford match on the 13th August, a smaller number of supporters will need to be relocated, but we aim to move these into the surrounding terrace areas. Again, these will be the last fans that purchased in that area.
The club will cancel the tickets for the Thatchers Terrace and re-issue another ticket; therefore, if you receive a new ticket from the club, you are part of that group. We will also confirm this with an email to every person affected.

SAG are a bunch of tossers Many would argue the miss behaving fans could be classified as the tossers here. Ultimately the club has the responsibility to control the crowd in a safe manner and failed to do so. We as fans cannot bury our heads in the sand and avoid the consequences for the club that a minority of fans have caused. Blaming the SAG is like blaming the police for getting caught breaking the law! The club needs to work with the SAG and the fans to get this resolved. This could be a double punishment if the FA/League impose a penalty over and above the capacity reduction.

Maybe missing out on games, might get through people that you can't behave like assholes. Most of the 'celebrating' is about making a scene for the sake of it rather than celebrating

Will this effect season ticket holders in the Thatchers End?

I assume south stand tickets were left unsold in case away allocation needed to be more. I guess we now have to give fewer to away teams (or they couldnt sell them) so are being used for home fans. If we are reduced down to 9000 we only have to give 900 to away fans

SAG are a bunch of tossers The people who ran on the pitch are the tossers Both are tossers. Making this call when the game is already sold out is pathetic. Also them suddenly forcing us into reducing our capacity by 2000 is also ridiculous

No way have every other club whose had a pitch invasion after an unprecedented and/or promotion clinching goal, had this sh\t to put up with after. Completely unnecessary.

Entering the field of play is a criminal offence (as far as I’m aware) so liaise with the authorities and hope the courts show some balls and dish out some severe punishments. We’ve seen what the Bristol Courts can do with rioters when they put their minds to it, they could clamp down on hooligans if they wanted to too.

Since when did the likes of SAG have authority to deal with fan disorder issues, plus the chances of pitch invasions at the start of the season must be virtually non-existent.
It seems SAG are effectively fining us by reducing the attendance by 100's.

Plenty of fans across the country have in the past, but it doesn't seem to make much difference
