The club have made many new appointments in other areas of the club, but why when safety for all fans attending games is so important they haven't appointed a new qualified safety officer. Surely with a full time person in this job it would have headed off this SAG issue weeks before this egg on the face cock up. The last safety officer must have been sacked 8 months ago, plenty of time to find a proper replacement. Perhaps Gorringe's wife can find one, she appointed David Bright. Do you have evidence of that?

People can call it pointless, moan about the stewards and find it out of order to blame the fans for going on the pitch But it is Dam illegal to enter the pitch, so dont Dam do it. Scunthorpe is about the mid match encroachment and it is still unclear what happened regarding the Scunny keeper being 'attacked'. Even if he was knocked over accidentally players shouldnt be put in that position The FGR match was tanked up wannabes who didnt like what FGR did despite probably being on the pitch a week or so later I think at least 4 people were prosecuted and given football banning orders for their pointless FGR incident. Moan all yoi like, but direct it at all the wannabes and lads that are about 'on the pitch' for the littlest thing for the 'bantz' Totally agree. Unauthorized pitch invasion is an offence. Hit FGR with the same clauses, then..... but don't see that forthcoming. It's the inconsistency that frustrates... The difference with FGR was that it wasn't during the game, which is why it's being treated differently.

The offence is entering the playing surface at any time not whilst the match is being played. You can’t just choose as and when you wish to clamp down on it. Fgr won promotion so their allowed on? They should be charged just as we have been.

Last night, Security were moving people away from standing and watching the match in the area where only a few weeks ago they would have been allowed to sit in a stand. Although you could stand in the exact same area if you were queuing up to buy a overprices pasty. Welcome to the world of woke. Ridiculous.

Is it up for Forest Green to control their fans away from home? Also how are we comparing fans entering the pitch after a game has finished to celebrate promotion with: a). Fans running onto the pitch to confront opposing fans etc? (like the "crusaders" did) b). Fans running onto the pitch during the 90 mins and causing delays and assaulting a goalkeeper. Doesn't seem like a good faith argument to me. But sure - let's bandy the word "woke" around to really cement your position of being a brain dead

Last month a 16-year-old boy was handed a fixed-period ban after admitting assaulting a Scunthorpe player during a pitch invasion in Rovers’ 7-0 victory which sealed promotion into League One. Lee Wells, 38, from Oldland Common, was given a three-year football banning order and ordered to carry out 100 hours of community service for the same offence. He also was found to have entered the playing area and was in possession of a firework, flare or pyrotechnic item.

David Bright @davidbrightbrfc I wouldn’t be here right now if it wasn’t for a chance conversation with @caseyjgorringe at the cricket! Couldn’t ask for a better agent

I assume south stand tickets were left unsold in case away allocation needed to be more. I guess we now have to give fewer to away teams (or they couldnt sell them) so are being used for home fans. If we are reduced down to 9000 we only have to give 900 to away fans FGR were selling south stand tickets up until recently. The info is scarce on there forum / website to the amount sold. However : they were given the full away terrace as well. I suppose if they sell 800 terrace 300 stand . We would have about 500 ( segregation) left in South stand . Nobody knows until FGR return unsold tickets . Although we must accomate the 300 plus as a minimum from North terrace.

According to Gorringe there will be no further tickets available to home fans. Can't believe fgr have sold anywhere near 1700

Did Rovers get any action taken for the Rochdale away game? That seems to be the equivalent pitch invasion after an away result to FGR for those whatabouters.
For those pleading SAG are being unfair and haven't the authority, shall we put in a judicial review? I'm sure we've all got fond memories of people trying to change a decision they don't like by using technicalities.
I don't buy that stewards are to blame either. Most of us are not children. You shouldn't need someone always there to stop you from doing naughty things.
A load of knobheads ran onto the pitch. The dust has now settled and this is the punishment. Get over it.
The thing I find annoying is those "fans" that were trying to make it all about them after Billy's goal probably won't even know there is a capacity reduction. They'll only rock up again in April if we're doing well.
