Unfortunately, our number has now increased by two, so now require another ST holder (or one who is going to wait until they go on general sale?) to complete our purchase, so if there are any generous souls out there, please PM me!

I'm one of a group of 8-10 gasheads (+ Wives/Girlfriends/Sons/Daughters at various times) who stand on the East Terrace. However, only two of us have ST this year, although we have all attended nearly all home and a lot of the away matches, We all want to sit together at Wembley and doubt we will be able to do so once tickets go on general sale and wonder if any ST holder would like to 'donate' us their name and postcode, so we can try to get around 16 of us together. Thanks! If you can, please PM me. I only put in one surname/postcode and it lets me have 16 so give it a try... EDIT.. sorry RoverDrive not trying to wind you up! It lets me get 12 with one ST, but as soon as I click buy, it says I am only allowed to buy 4!! Oops!

As an ex-referee, who reffed at just below Conference level (Who thought Swabey was awful on Wednesday and definitely bottled the Clough RED card!), It rarely affected me what the crowd chanted/said! I gave what I saw and looked for help from assistants if I didn't see something. However, I won't say I wasn't tempted to give/not give decisions when a team/crowd had a go at me! I'm only human (Despite what some of the players/crowd said!). I found that if you treated players like human beings they would normally respond accordingly and you wouldn't get any problems. The standard of refereeing in the conference has been pretty abysmal, in my opinion, (the Alfreton at home ref being one notable exception!) mainly because the average conference refs are young(er) have rarely played the game a decent standard, so don't really understand the game like an ex-player, and are being 'fast tracked' to the Football League, so they are trying to make an impression. Very often they try to 'impose' themselves on a game and don't have sufficient 'man management' skills to do that, which causes them to lose control and they try to make up for it by making decisions when they shouldn't and end up 'getting it wrong'!

It's got to be Blissett and Taylor! I can see Blissett keeping their central two occupied, while Taylor feeds off him. We must remember, he came on on Wednesday when we were down to 10, so we were already under pressure, making his job more difficult, with not so much midfield support. I've got a lot of time for Blissett and believe he can develop into another DW (I hope)!

The ref had his back to Ellis for the first yellow and didn't see what happened. The bloke shoved him and told him to feck off and Ellis got booked. The second was a bit daft however. I'll check that later (Watching Eastleigh-Grimsby now), but the assistant could have told the ref if he saw it and he should have if he did! However, it doesn't alter the fact that Ellis 'lost it' and would have got another yellow before the second, if he hadn't for that incident with Bennett.! Just had a look at my recording, BBRFC, and you were right, he was discussing the merits of a foul he had given against Monkhouse, when it should have been given to him, when he turned round and saw Ellis and Bennett 'giving it handbags' and, as I said before, decided to give him (and Bennett) a yellow (which he can do for 'handbags'), to try and get him/Bennett to calm down, which it unfortunately failed to do for Ellis!

I watched the match again last night when I got home on BT and the ref was pretty well positioned to see the Clough kick at Puddy. As an ex-referee, who has refereed at just below the Conference Premier, that was a disgraceful decision! I said it at the time and seeing it later, confirmed it! Those sort of decisions make me sad to call myself a referee! The assistant could not have seen what happened as there were far too many players in the way. He consulted him, just to make it seem like the assistant had said that he had seen something else, so he didn't have to give the red card. How do I know this? Because I used to do exactly the same thing! However, I never ducked out of giving a red card if I saw something as blatant as that! By the way, I would probably have also given Ellis his first yellow, to try and calm him down after that fracas with Bennett, but that obviously didn't work and Darrell should have taken him off before he got his second yellow, which he did deserve! Fine, but you are assuming the referee clearly saw exactly what happened. ("pretty well positioned", you say) OK, If we're being pedantic! He was very well positioned, less than 10 yards away and looking directly at the incident! If you have the chance, have a look at it again and freeze it as Clough kicks Puddy and the referee is in the frame looking directly at it. He was exactly where I would have been if I had been refereeing the game!!

According to the Official Site, it says seated tickets at the club shop, standing at the ticket office, but don't know how that will work as Forest Green is all standing and how will they split the away tickets between the two?

I was at the game and that was terrible. Tactically we played straight into their hands and as a result could not take advantage of the chance, the chance we all hoped Barnet would give us, to go up as champions. One shot on goal all game, terrible. Clarke sets the team up not to lose, and 16 draws and some, like today, against teams that extremely average conference level. Its all very well banging the drum of positivity, but look at the facts. I think the attendance at Dover was something like 2300 of which we were what, 1500? The atmosphere in the recommended pub before hand was great, we all trooped in, in full voice, only to be served a witless and gutless performance like that. The team set up as 4-3-3 with Matty Taylor stranded on the left wing, brilliant, we kicked the ball over Chris Line's head towards Blisset who standing alone and isolated, when he did get a touch, gave it back to Dover. Positive? I am positively convinced that Clarke's tactics have cost us automatic promotion. Armed with by far the best support in the Conference and probably some of the best resources his tactics have squandered far too many points within those draws. Terrible. Dover had nothing to play for and we made them look ok. Next week Alfreton will be fighting for their lives. Guess the formation, 5-4-1 anyone? I have tickets, but seriously wondering if its worth the effort and almost guaranteed disappointment. As I was standing with two others waiting for the cab to take us back to Folkestone station, a few old faces, seeing my barely concealed anger and disappointment at what I had just witnessed, came up to me and said "Look, you chose, years ago, to follow Bristol Rovers, we always eff it up" True, on both counts. But now after 51 years of doing that and having witnessed the events of the last decade and a half, on and off the pitch, this match just about finished me off. That was as bad as the team that gave up under Holloway in the 1999-2000 season. " Terrible " you say, I didn't think it was that good God, some of you on here are so defeatist. I was at Dover, yes it was s***, yes I was sooooo down at the end, but I've been watching the Gas for over 50 years ( even before they were called the gas!) and we never do things the easy way! The 'Fat lady has not sung', we are in the playoffs, no matter what happens on Saturday, and most of us would have taken that before the season started! Barnet could still screw-up on Saturday, if they don't we'll go up via the playoffs! Let's get behind the boys and no more recriminations and blame games! Saturday and maybe the next three games after that are all that count now! UTG

About time someone told it like it is!! I don't hear any 'Fat lady singing yet'. if we don't win it outright, we'll go up via the playoffs! I've had over 50 years of this sort of thing with the gas and we have NEVER done anything the easy way.

Difficult one! I'd like Bliss, and Matty, but realise that you can't have both. I'd go for Bliss, even though I'm a great admirer of Matty's work rate (but not strike rate!), he could come on after 60 minutes, if Bliss and Ellis aren't working, or even to supplement them!
