Let's face facts. Gaffers was ok for the first 5 games. Game changing with braces in the last 2. That's the only reason you want him back, because he was on a roll. Can't blame you for that. He won't suddenly replicate that form for us, although i'll bet a lot of you will be looking at our result after your own. So will I, to see if your team is still on a roll. Another fact..... we're both on a good run of form at the moment, and that can't be down to the Ginger Minger.... he can only play for one of us, so..... on that basis, no man makes a team, and certainly not Gaffers. I Think we all, including me have overhyped what is just a raw talent. But i'm glad he's back here. If you would like a striker who Blackburn paid more than a million pounds for, we could give you a certain Jordan Slew for free. All enquiries please to Mr. S. Derry. Take him and right the Taylor/White debacle. Thank you. Today will be interesting for sure, if he starts for you I would be of the opinion that derry was genuinely trying to keep him. However if he is on the bench I will be thinking this deal is still being worked on between the two parties

Where do you reckon Lines would go? Who in our league would pick up his wage bill? FGR ?

has anyone else noticed that all the talking seems to be coming from Cambridge on this subject, DC, NH or BRFC in general are saying nothing I think that's because Derry was asked about RG in a press conference. But it seems to have been their CEO as well

CUFC might be tweeting it, but Gaffers still isn't on their player profile page, hes either been removed or was never on there ?
Has for the wind up merchant on here thats his credibility gone !unless he's a Ted of course in which case he never had any !

Breaking news... Louis Carey is not part of the consortium, but he was watching the Gas today. Is that Ian Mckellen on the right?! Lee Chapman to the left ?

One thing we all seem to be forgetting in the equation, is if you listen to Gaffney he is obviously no fool, he knows his stock value has increased and I am in no doubt will taking that into account when negotiating his terms. That alone may be insurmountable if DC has a strict policy on salaries.

Agree with this but his work rate is phenomenal if CU scouts are there they will report on that. He chases, he hassles, he battles and he works hard for the team, reminds me of Big Devon but better. If my team just lost 4-1 I'd be taking him back. Imagine if it was the other way round. We'd be going mental to bring him back Not as simple as that though, he probably fits into our group of players better than theirs, and if he wants to be here he'll be no good for them now. Thats on the money CG, the bloke has played in a good side ,in front of career best sized crowds, played well scored more than we could have hoped for and been a fans favourite since he came. With no disrespect to Cambridge I have no doubt we could easily match anything they are paying him, after telling him he was here until the end of the season when his contract runs out, i can't imagine for one minute his mind is on playing for Cambridge at all

My assumption would be that we wanted a loan deal until the end of the season and Cambridge have probably said something along the lines of if you want him buy him ! but just an opinion

Why isn't he match fit? He has been on the bench so he should be ready to play. Also I don't know why people keep guessing. I've told y'all already, he was dropped the night before Yeovil away for disciplinary reasons. He is back now because we are short. He is good enough and we have an ok defence so we are fine. I suggest he's not match fit on the basis that like outfield players he needs game time, I don't think GK's are any different. I reckon you must be spot on regarding the Disciplinary reason

I don't understand why Mildenhall has stayed put, its clear DC wasn't going to consider him before loan options. I really would have thought he would have been looking to get games elsewhere. Can't help but think any pro would have felt slighted under these circumstances.
The problem is exsasperated by the fact that he isn't match fit either!

Away at Bournemouth, Alfie Biggs was playing I think it was 0-0 and I remember you could rent a Cushion for your seat for thrupence (3d) and the coach or Charabang as it was called broke down on the way home.

Thanks for the report, I do think though its not a case of "how he uses the January Market" but more a case of "IF" he can. heres hoping. Don't we need to use the january market? This group of players grow stronger and stronger, the priority is not to lose anyone. Yes I agree, I posted though with a GK and Gaffney in mind moreso

I think DC has no choice but to play mildenhall now even if Puddy recovers he's clearly not quite ready fitness wise. Apart from the fact I be;ieve Mildy is way past it I find it curious why DC has done almost all he could not to play him

I have thought about one for years and kept putting it off, took the plunge and put one on my reasonably priced British car this month. Tried to get BR15 ROV but not available so went for the next best
