I'm not sure it was cut from the YouTube video. In the YT video he appears to be interviewed by a member of the BRFC media team (you know, that bloke with the monotonous low voice) whereas on the radio it was an interview by the BBC commentator I think. So I believe there was actually 2 interviews both with fairly similar questions and comments by GC but only in the BBC one did he make the slightly odd comments referring to himself in the third person.

Think it would be good to see the Don's complete their great escape.
I know Plymouth is a good away day but I'm still bearing a grudge for what went on there last season and for that reason I would like them to go down.

DC will always be a gas legend for me but I believe the decision to part company was right, both for him and us.
Let's hope GC surprises us and can create a squad in the summer that's capable of competing at the top half of the table next season.
Well done to GC, the lads, coaching staff, all of the other staff behind the scenes at BRFC and us fans who have all played a part in saving our L1 status.

Fleetwood on top now, we need to make some subs to mix it up a bit.

Stop counting chickens peeps! You're making me nervous.
Would love us to win this one, sounds like we are on top, would be great to secure our safety without having to rely on others results.

If fleetwood score early, we’re up the creek. If we can pull off a 0-0 then fair play to the gaffer. I just don’t see where the goals are unless it’s another wonder strike. JCH, Sercombe and OC. Hopefully the three of them have blinders. THD also playing on the left in midfield, never know, he might bang one in to save our bacon.

Bullet points - Where is he? - Why so quiet lately? - has he been given the hook? Anyone with any news on him? Has the West Stand lift got jammed between floors? We have a lift...? I never knew that.Wow😂 How the fook does a sh** tip like the Mem have a lift! Lol Don't get too excited, it's operated manually, you have to wind a handle to go up or down. 😉

If it ends like that with us surviving only on goal difference then we need to carry Bonham down Gloucester Road on our shoulders as he has probably been the difference between relegation and survival this season!

Wimbledon got Wycombe home and Bradford away both winnable games. We still need 2 points to be safe. That's assuming others get results too, which they probably won't. ....probably.... I'm not liking that word. Bloody hell I'm starting to sh*t myself here! FFS why do we have to do things the hard way??!

But we can't even by a TV and get it hung on the wall in less than 10 months so probably nothing to worry about lol

....And this summer the Goringe will strike a deal with Clarke's pies to supply the Mem for the next 5 years along with a lucrative sponsorship deal for both the kit and the stadium!

I think we should keep him.
He impressed me when he first came into the side at the end of last season, has good ball control and has the ability to score as well. In the right team with the right set up he could be very useful.
Think we should give him another opportunity once GC had worked some more of his transfer window magic!

I like Leadbitter a lot. He was my favourite player for a good while. When he's on form we are a force to be reckoned with. However, when he's off form we get battered. This, with his injury problems probably mean he should be moved on (assuming he's out of contract in the summer). I'd have him as back up on a lower wage though, but unless he can improve his crossing we need to let him go. He get's into great space & has some good runs but my word, 90% of his crosses go out for a goal kick. Same here, always really enjoyed watching Leads sprint up the touchline leaving his marker for dust! I know what you mean about his crossing though and I think you make a good point but it's also worth noting that we now have JCH in the box who might just be able to get on the end of some of his crosses. I have a funny feeling he signed a new contract last summer so he might have another year on his deal anyway. Edit: Yes, seems he signed a contract extension on 25.05.18, no idea how long for though.

I would like to see us keep all of the players that have been regulars under GC. If we survive (fingers crossed!) then that core group will have achieved something amazing and will have built up a fantastic sense of togetherness, understanding and team spirit. It takes time to create that and it's not something we should risk losing imo. After having had their backs against the wall since DC left they would deserve the chance to be part of the next chapter under GC. Let's not throw the baby out with the bath water! All loans can go back except we should try and sign Bonham. I would then release: Smith Slocombe Leadbitter Lines (with real sadness in my heart!) Bennett Matthews Mensah Payne (good riddance!)New signings: Keeper (as back up to Bonham) Left winger Right winger CAM Striker Right full back I also think next season GC should make a conscious effort to try and bring through the following development squad players: Deon Moore Kilgour Russe Fairly certain Payne is contracted for next season so we wouldn't be able to just release him. We'd have to sell or mutually terminate. Ok but tbh I don't care how we do it, just get rid!

....and GC! You've got to give him credit for bringing in JCH and transforming the team into a week drilled unit that is hard to beat especially away from home. As he keeps saying the performances aren't pretty but we are getting results and that is the most important thing.

Just got back, bloody hell I'm exhausted!
My nerves are completely shredded but what a fantastic result!
Last minute winner has never tasted sweeter (well except that one against D&R of course!).
That is 3 massive points we earned ourselves there. We were pretty poor tbh but you've got to give the lads credit for grinding out a result and coming from behind as well. It shows that they are all busting their guts to keep us up. If they can maintain that grit and determination then we should survive.
UTG!

Purchased off a leading international company in its field, so you would expect them to employ reliable sub contractors. That appears to be not the case. I find it totally laughable that it has taken since it's purchase last July and it has still not appeared due to problems with a steel frame! It would appear the nous to measure twice and cut once does not appear to have been used by these experts! I know, it's not bloody rocket science is it?! Perhaps it's a good job we aren't building a new stadium anytime soon as we'd probably end up with one worse than the Mem.
