What's happened to our pen taking? We went ages putting them away without fail and now they always seem to be saved.

HOw are we playing ? It's impossible to tell from radio bristol commentary. Really? I'm listening and it sounds as though we're playing well to me, several shots saved by the Cobblers so far. Rollin has made a number of good defensive moves too.

Agree with your comments about Rollin, would prefer him to Burn or Parts as centre back with Broads. My line up: -----------Slocs----------- Parts--Rollin--Broads--Bola -----------Lines----------- Bodin-----------------Sincs -----------Sercs----------- ---Gaffers-------Ellis----- If Sincs isn't fit then Ollie Clarke. Bloody close. Get in! Just call me Daryll Bluestone Clarke!

Based on the here and now, the boy can play and I think he has a great opportunity over the next few years to become a first team regular. The sort of guy you want in the dressing room - down to earth and not fazed by events. Club captain by 2020? Maybe. Yeah, I was thinking the same after watching that, future captain material for sure. I can just imagine him barking the orders at the lads from the back line as if they were on the battlefield. The one positive about Locks and Sweeney being absent for internationals (and their red cards!) is that it has given him the opportunity to shine earlier than you would have expected. The other great thing for the future is that he's our player. So thinking ahead for next season it is doubtful we would get Sweeney again but if Broads continues to progress and impress at the rate he has so far I would be happy to see him as first choice for centre back alongside Locks. UTG!

What a weird question. I've always found his posts to be informative and respectful so the answer is yes.

I would go with ................Slocombe Partington Menayese Broadbent Brown Bodin......Lines... Sercombe..Bola ...........Gaffney..Harrison I think Rollin has looked immense in development games and has been on the bench already this season as well as doing well well when he came on against Wycombe. He is a left footer so probably unlikely given DC's preference to play a right and left footer at centre half. However this isn't necessary in my opinion as proved by Sweeney and Broadbent (can't remember which game sorry). James Clarke and Alfie Kilgour are also near match fitness and an option but may lack a little sharpness. Hoping to be proved wrong in time but Burn hasn't inspired me yet with his brief appearances and based on what I have seen would put him bottom of the pecking order at this moment in time. Burn was highly rated at Middlesborough and whilst on loan with Oldham and in the SPL so hopefully will come good at some point.

When was the last time we had a draw?
Answer....Feb 28th Bolton away.
Screw it I'm going for a gas win 3-1! But I might stick a few quid on a draw just in case 😉

Sorry to interrupt, but what the feck has all this got to do with whether he was at the game last night??? It started with a fun little dig at our absent owner during these difficult times on and off the pitch. It's somewhat escalated into so much more. Or much less I suppose, depending on how much you care about actual, provable facts. I submit that slagging off the owners is the top passtime these days. Try it, you might like it. WAQ once took a few grapes off a bunch while he was doing his shopping. Not only is he a theif, but it's proof that he has no money and Rovers are going to be sold. Probably to Italians because they have lots of grapes. * Ahem...... *This may be a lie. Though it may not be. LOL much much less I feel. Seems more like sour grapes from some to me! Look, we were all disappointed with the collapse of UWE and the way the communication was handled wasn't great, but to those whinging about WAQ "get over it" I say and stop bearing a grudge. Life is full of disappointments along the way but sometimes things that happen are for the best in the long run, our owners decided to walk away from the UWE deal, that means it obviously wasn't a good deal for BRFC and that's good enough for me. I will admit right now I am an optimistic person, a glass half full type if you like, OK wtf....I'm a self confessed rose tinter OK! Perhaps those that seek to discredit our owner secretly want us to remain rag bag rovers, to stay in our comfort zone if you like. IMO our future has never looked so positive, yes progress is steady and gradual but Rome (see what I did there?) wasn't built in a day and neither is a multi-million pound stadium, state of the art training complex and a championship ready team. WAQ said at the very beginning it was going to be evolution and that's exactly what we are getting, anyone that was expecting shed loads of cash to be thrown at the club a la Pantsdown style and instant success to come our way were foolish to think so as this was never promised and we're certainly not entitled to it. To me we do seem to be moving forwards and not backwards, in the time that WAQ has been our owner we've achieved much more than I had expected, returning to the football league at the first time of asking and then getting promoted back to L1 followed by our highest finish for 17 years and here we are now only 1 point away from where we were last season and we're not even performing anywhere near our best yet. Lets be honest, there is not a shred of evidence that our owner's heart is no longer in the development of Bristol Rovers. I believe the OP was started post Wolves, and whilst I myself went to that game I don't know if WAQ did however I can confirm that he was definately there at Portsmouth last week as he was sat in the row just in front of me. If his heart was not in BRFC anymore then why on earth would he bother going to that game. UTG!
