DC built the squad over the last few years yes it's a good squad for non league and even league 2 but he and most of the squad are out of their depth in this leagueย Except most of this squad finished 10th in league 1 last season. Out of interest who would you like to see replace DC? It's people like him who you don't hear from when we're winning. I honestly don't remember so much negativity in the conference season, or all the dross that preceded it.

Let's hope that , that is sooner rather than later midland who do you think we can get better than dc? Who can we attract with a sh** ground and nothing to spend? We got the best we can,heโs hungry and learning all the time,we donโt want a manager here just for a pay cheque If dc doesnโt do well it will effect his future, all this talk of championship clubs after him is rubbish heโs not ready and he knows it himself else he wouldโve been gone I had a row last night with someone saying dc must go,he said you who we should get...Hoddle ๐ people need to get real, wael needs to get his cheque book out and help dc at least 4 quality players else the gates will drop even more Glen Hoddle is a disgraceful human being. Maybe Midlandgas knows him.

Seem to remember Rovers got a mention on the front page of the Sun when fans ruined a wedding evening do at Tewksbury after a final game of the season at Bury. Nothing to do with me I might add! Cheers. UTG #DontBuyTheSun

Go on then , I'll bite. Like usual I shan't be attending this sh** fest. Opinions of fans who attend will soon change when we are playing the city u23s on a regular basis. Whilst I appreciate everyone's opinion I really do detest this competition as to me it's clear what the final outcome will be if fans carry on attending. Support your team by staying away. Hear hear! The current format is just a very thinly veiled way of testing the reaction to B-Teams in our Leagues. If supporters go to these farces (can't call them matches), then the powers-that-be will see that as a sign that supporters will go along to any old dross. Slippery slope. You don't have to look far to see the contempt some clubs (incluing ours) have shown the tournament by making first minute substitutions or playing fringe players instead of anything resembling a first XI. If people go, you're basically condoning these kind of experiments and continuing the "stock-piling" mentality some Premier League clubs have towards young talent. No good will come of it. #BTeamBoycott

Good show boys, considering how crap results are currently.
Disappointing lack of pie content still.

FFS why is this embarrassing thread still going on Probably because it demonstrates how the vast majority disagree with the original post. I think a lot of people's default position is the opposite of what MidlandGas thinks (or at least writes on here), and I'm definitely not just talking about football.

I can't tell if this thread is a joke or not.
It shouldn't have to be said that there's other jobs involved in running a football club than playing & coaching staff.

Imagine my shock seeing Midlandgas with a terrible take on something.
If it's not his "pc gone mad" takes, it's his incredible selective memory.
I don't remember seeing this much criticism when we were in the conference.
Yes we've struggled to score in the last three games without our best attacking player. Yes we're a bit rigid in centre midfield because we haven't got many options. Yes our centre halves aren't in great form at the moment.
It's been a lot worse. Tom Parkes on the wing under John Ward anyone?
Let's all have a drink, and relax.

I wanted a sweet potato one but they were gone at 2:50 in the North Terrace.
Didn't experience these long queues or slow service I've read so much about on here, and the steak & ale one I got was hotter than the sun so took me ages to be able to enjoy it.
It's almost like people were looking for something to be offended at...

Think the big difference now is social media where you can get instant anonymous tish tosh out there to one and all. Not sure writing letters as we did when I were a lad would facilitate that sort of thing.๐ฎ๐ Yeah, I hate to think of the sort of bollocks I would have put on the web if social media had existed when I was 18. I've been saying this for a while, in years gone by we didn't have to hear from the kind of idiots on the belters FB page or some of the more argumentative people on here. If people wanted a moan it was only their close friends/partner/poor sod who stood near them in the ground who had to put up with it.

I don't understand the fuss about who's named captain. It's just a ceremonial thing and should'nt change how someone plays. It seems to be an English obsession. A lot of attention is given to the England national team captain, while a lot of other countries give it to their player with the most caps that game.
I do like Lockyear but he hasn't been in great form, though I don't think he'd play any differently or shout more/less if someone else had an armband on.
Maybe I'm missing the point, maybe he feels an extra burden as someone fans/DC look to, I'm sure they all hate it when we concede goals!

Yawn.
I make a point of not moaning about officials since we were in the conference.
Nobody is biased against us, sometimes marginal decisions go the oppositions way. Come on lads, we're all adults.

Got my Tin Hat on ready, but I thought the ref had a pretty decent game, thought all yellow cards were justified, maybe apart from Telford who had just come on and his first offence. Game of opinions I suppose. Nobody was mentioning the officials once Ellis scored. I deliberately don't talk about them because I remember how sh**e they were in the conference year. I'm sure some decisions that were marginal went against us, but there's no bias and we'd have been bellowing for some fouls were roles reversed.

My point was that clubs are moving to stamp out songs that a body of fans might be upset to hear. I get it that you don't seem to like my stance. So, your team go 1-0 up. The fans start singing, "1-0 to the Arsenal", or whatever, and that may upset the opposition fans. Are you going to ban that to? Come on, don't be facetious. I'm not trying to stifle anything. The two chants in question were about the Jews, and a stereotype about black men.

Fair comment about Robinson, and I'm not suggesting he does, but some of the views he expresses on here certainly tally with what I know of the EDL. It might be nice to live on a fluffy cloud, it'd be nicer if everyone agreed with me (albeit rather boring), but if people could not be offended by being told singing a song with racial undertones was wrong, that'd be nicest of all. As you said in another reply (I think to TommyM), the culture of people saying "I'm not racist, but...", and vehemently denying that Rovers has a racism problem is the thing that needs looking at. I believe what I read from the nasty white people on this forum. No one is saying we don't have racists in the crowd, what they are saying is theres not that many(think of the Archie Stevens chant and how many took part) . What do you know of the edl as im very interested in what others perceive to believe. I've no interest in talking about that with you.

Ha good point. Can't even get hot pasties (if other rants are to be believed) WHERE'S THE MONEY @whale? This is probably the most racist reply i've seen on this thread, for someone who screams racist at others, it seems your are stereotyping someone from another country and his money, then mocking his name, unbelievable Ha, c'mon mate. You know that's just a dig at the people on twitter who @ Wael after a defeat. Very tongue in cheek that one, replying in keeping with the joke above it. I can't tell if you genuinely want to start a row or not
