Nearly 7k raised now!! No offense, but probably I wouldn't give, not knowing if it's real. No idea where the money is going to go.

Hope they trace him sad that some kids cant attend matches. What is sadder is the fact his mum does'nt have enough money for food. All children get free school meals at that age. So the reason he can't go, isn't because she has to pay for free school meals. Probably a fake. So many people sucked in by it online though, nearly 7k raised now! Who does the money go to, if they don't find out who Joe is, or if it's fake??

Cant help but think this could be a wind up? Over 4k raised for him now. Every 6 year old called Joe is going to come forward, even if they have to watch Swindon to get the money😂.

Just for a bit of fun, what's your most Rovers highlights that you watch? Rovers Shrews final? Penalties v Grimsby? The replay at Lincoln? The Dagenham Browner winner? Replay at Lincoln?? Do you mean the 2nd league?? Think we won the first leg as well, didn't we??

The only grumble I had with last night is Coutts taking the penalty. I hate it when defensive minded players take pens. I'm always of the opinion that your strikers and attacking players are the ones that go through countless training exercises of finishing chances, are the most naturally gifted players at finsihing chances and a spot kick should be bread and butter for them. It's always a greater chance of scoring for the team too. You would never dream of putting a striker in goal to face a penalty, so why does a defensive minded player take the spot kicks? Just makes no sense. As soon as Coutts stood over the ball he looked like he was going to miss, from his short run up, the power on the strike of the ball, lack of accuracy and the height made it easy for the keeper. It was an unconvincing spot kick at P'boro as well. Collins or Anderson should have taken it IMO. Don't think the player's position makes too much difference. Every player can't score from 12 yards in training, but it's how they cope with the pressure, during a game. It's as much psychological as it is technique. Seen some great attacking player's, who are awful at penalties. Only seen it once, but I thought it was a good save. It looked to be right in the corner, but the keeper pretended to go the other way and got good spring off the ground.

David Wheater is still without a club since he left Oldham almost a year ago, but there may be a reason for that? Wanted to move back to the North West, had a back operation and was training with Darlington, hoping to play, when fit, if offered a deal.

Only Port vale have the same amount of games to play. Lots of places are still up for grabs. Not saying we will do it. Just saying it's not over yet! Not just for us, half the teams can still make the play offs. Nearly every season, at least one team will fall away towards the end and at least one team will go on a late run, to clinch a play off place. Lots of teams can still make it. Bolton were 19th at the end of January last season and ended up in the automatic positions. It's never over until it's over. There are far more teams that are 14th in mid February and don’t make the playoffs than there are examples like Bolton. Of course it’s never over until it’s over but based on the managers results in the 12 months he’s had the job it’s unlikely we suddenly find top 3 form I didn't say we would, but at least one team will go on a late run. Mansfield were near the bottom, earlier in the season. Plymouth were the year before Bolton at the start of the season. Not saying we will be the club, but just saying the season is not over. I wonder if half the people on here, pay any attention to football, or actually read comments. The season is not over yet, we probably won't make the play offs, but you never no. With 18 games left, we could find form, we could also drop down the table. But that's football. Win on Tuesday and you will have people on here saying we are going up😂

Why keep referring to Bolton when it was a total one off they were promoted, knowing how they bent the rules in L1 they probably had a massive budget last season, it's not like we've got a load of good L2 players about to return from injury to give us a big boost. Plus we've never really outplayed a top 7 side all season. Referring to them as it was last season! It happens most seasons though, it might not be us, but one club always goes on a late run.

Season is far from over yet. It's harder after the last few results. Win on Tuesday and we will be 9 points behind Sutton with 2 games in hand and 7 behind Newport with 2 games in hand, with plenty of games to go. Win one those games in hand and the gap will be 4/6 points. Still playing without a striker, hopefully one will be back soon. Typical Rovers to lose to a team near the bottom and not lose away to a team with a great home record and at home to team on a great run. There are other teams who have games in hand as well that are closer to those teams than we are. Also quite a reach to assume we just win all our games in hand, two of them are away from home and our away form isn’t great. I just don’t see how we get ourselves enough points. Only Port vale have the same amount of games to play. Lots of places are still up for grabs. Not saying we will do it. Just saying it's not over yet! But what if we don't win that's the issue as we never seem to be able to close the gap, is Barton really capable of making up into a play off, or better side, as he's now had two transfer windows and we're still only a mid table side? What is really going on with Loft as how can a minor back injury keep him for so long. If we don't win enough, season will be over eventually. Point is, that the season isn't over yet. Even if it's less likely.

I think that’s the season over tbh. I said previously that Sutton, Oldham, Mansfield & Sutton will require a minimum of 7 points to show we’re playing off contenders and so far we have 2 points in 3 of those games. Not really good enough tbh, with our budget we should be doing a lot better. It’s worrying as well that we’ll potentially need a squad reset (after already having a squad reset) as well with the amount of players we’ll lose in summer at end of contracts or returning back on loan. Season is far from over yet. It's harder after the last few results. Win on Tuesday and we will be 9 points behind Sutton with 2 games in hand and 7 behind Newport with 2 games in hand, with plenty of games to go. Big mistake getting rid of Pitman with both other targetmen way off fitness. We look totally punchless. When was the last time Pitman came on and changed the outcome of a game? Once again we only played for 45 min which was the bigger issue although having both Evans and Grant missing can't have helped matters. Mansfield played for 45 minutes as well. The wind was a big factor in that. Blowing the ball towards the blackthorn end.

Good performance defensively, think we should had have a penalty, but we have to do more in the attacking third. On one occasion Harry Anderson had a long shot, when he had a simple pass to Nicholson to put him, one on one with them keeper. Need to start making more of those opportunitys, it wasn't a hard pass. Head down, instead of up.

Hopefully makes a full and speedy recovery. All the best Connor! I echo these sentiments. He has been fantastic for us. If he cannot play for us, should we send him back for Stoke to cover his wages? Thought they said he can play?

If it's a simple query, then why won't you say what it is?? I've always recived a response and had queries answered in a reasonable time.
From the outside, it looks like someone with some kind of agenda. Exactly so why have I not? There is no hidden agenda I have not been confrontational FACT. the reason for my query is irrelevant, the principle is why ignore 4 attempts to get a reply. I said in the original post it was not meant to be NEGATIVE, it's not me but posters replies that make up fantasy conspiracy theories turning this into a negative! My request stands to people who are able to access Mr Al Qadi to see if he can explain why I am not getting a response to a simple query! It really is a simple query, nothing complicated that only club officials can give me an answer. If I'm not worth the curtesy of a simple answer what am I supporting? How can anyone ask him, if they don't know what the query is??

I have had nothing but timely responses from the club. You haven't said what your question was. It could be anything. The answer could be 'Don't know' or 'Currently unable to comment.' Even possible that they don't want to answer you as it's a delicate or legal topic. Without you saying what the question is no one here is going to give you an answer. Is it a delicate question? It's like me saying 'I'm offended, not telling you what for though' My query i believe is not confrontational and a simple query. So why will they not respond, I don't think a 2 minute phone call would resolve it. Is that good practise to ignore customers? If it's a simple query, then why won't you say what it is?? I've always recived a response and had queries answered in a reasonable time. From the outside, it looks like someone with some kind of agenda.

If we need points on the last day, then you couldn’t ask for any more than Scunthorpe at home! Last time we went up, weren't Dagenham already relegated??

Nolan is more like Finley than E Anderson. That's no point, where does EA now fit into the team if Nolan plays in Finlay's role given that Evans seems undropable. We started the season struggling to find attacking players, now it seems we've too many even for the bench! I make it EA, Evans, Nicko, Collins, Saunders, L Clarke, Loft, Thomas, Spence and Pitman's still on the pay roll! Rodman was back on the bench on Saturday as well. He can play as a wing back, but winger was his main position for years.

I prefer "Grealish but with more flair"! So what's JB's plan, use him as a sub for Evans late on in games, or push Evans into Finley's position when he's out, as he doesn't look like an obvious candidate for Finley's role in the team. i suspect that we will find that he is an option for Finley. Evans is a more attacking midfield player and we are under utilising him by dragging him back Isn't he a number ten as well though, reading the Newcastle fans forum??
