This is relevant because? (I mean the directors attendances obviously)

Great points man. As someone said on here earlier in the week it does feel so good to have it back in our own hands again, not having to worry about Barnet and Grimsby etc all the time. Just gotta win three games. Theoretically we could lose one and win two, or draw 2, win on penalties then draw at Wembley and win on penalties - so we could go up without winning again - rather win all 3 though!

You'll never take the High Spec Property Services end. Hmm possibly not. The FFS Terrace would have been a classic, and very apt! And definitely better than the Manor's Crap End!

OK - here's where I stand:
First of all I have always supported whatever manager we have at any time - apart from Paul Buckle, I don't think we have had any manager who didn't give his best for the club. Whwther that was good enough or not is a different issue.
Secondly, John ward obviously got things badly wrong last season, but don't foget he probably saved us from relegation the previous season.
Thirdly, regardless of tbone and KingswoodGas comments, Darrell has been a breath of fresh air, built the current team on a shoestring and got us into a position where we have a real chance of promotion at the first attempt - I honestly expected it to be 2 or 3 seasons before we reached this position.
Following Bristol Rovers is about being supportive not critical, we know we don;t have a sugar daddy like '82 and we need to keep being encouraging of all aspects, especially now.

Give them a break there was a game on today No I am not going to give them a break. 10 tickets means 10 people I'm am going to let down. For their viloicemail to say "we will get back to you shortly" means nothing. The email came back saying Uplands according to your first post? Not Dribuild East Terrace? Something wrong there - methinks you're on a trouble-making wind-up.

BRFC can only be responsible for the safety on land owned by BRFC and I am not aware of any accidents on our land/premises. Trubshaw Close has been a problem for ages - I've had a spill there once but was fine. Complaints should be made to BCC but the important thing is whether or not the person who fell is OK now - hopefully he is.

An important Halifax goal tomorrow would be celebrated at the Mem as much as any Rovers goal tomorrow! Ha,Ha. I remember in the late 70's early 80's when a goal against the Sh1!heads came over the tanoy the celebration of it was as if we won the cup Even more so when Benny Hill (Lennartson) was the manager of '82 and got them relegated - their scores used to flash up on the old electric scoreboard at the Tent End and the crowd went wild. Happy days. "He's fat, he's round, he's taking City down Benny Hill, Benny Hill"

I was chatting to a Macc fan at the train station after the game and he was interested to know the reason behind the orange t-shirts. He said the sea of orange shirts looked "amazing". Did the commentators/pundits on BT mention them? Not that I heard, but plenty of shots of them before the game.

No way we can leave the pitch pre-season work till the end of May again - we got away with it this season but had a reasonably dry winter.

Back in the day we had massive hoardings in the Centre with Smash and Grab the Deadliest Duo In The West. No problem with '82 enjoying their moment of fame. All part of the game in my opinion. Anyway we have our own sign suggesting we are PROUD to be in the Bananarama Conference! Trumps any '82 sign!!

The Vanorama is a league in its own right. We have enough problems already don't let's go looking for any more. Yes, but if it's capitalised then it should refer to something that has 'League' in its name. I wasn't looking for problems; it was mailed to me. Strikes me you were trying to criticise the club again. The Conference is a League, as is the Premiership or Championship. Still the other forum has gone into overdrive moaning because students over 21 can't get cheap season tickets, so your moan is relatively low-key. My ST will only be £125 - some advantages being an old git!

My guess would be that IF the UWE build goes ahead there will be people with money who suddenly want to get involved with Bristol Rovers. It will be a very impressive, modern stadium and big egos like to be associated with big projects. But we only want the right people dont we? Correct. look at people like Sam Hamman and Peter Ridsdale for evidence of the "wrong people" Plenty more besides them. It needs to be a supporter of Rovers who accepts that their "investment" is more likely to be a "gift" - someone like Pantsdown would be ideal in that regard.

Well it didn't take long for the OP to revert to a negative Rovers blog, for gods sake why don't you just give it a rest, and do genuine Rovers fans a favour. Didn't seem THAT negative to me - unless you feel that the dirty washing is in public now - there is a huge ongoing thread on this forum about the "unsustainable loan". No problems - I'm going to win Euro Millions tonight - that's Plan C from Nick's list of 3 plans. eriously, what does happen if the court case is lost? I'm still in the 50/50 camp on whether or not we will lose it but if we do - then what? I'm kind of hoping NH already has the ground sold to someone else but has to keep quiet about it till the case is over. Obviously, he could not publicly state this is the case (even if it is) So, yes, I would prefer the EP blogs to be full of how we are top and looking good, but the worries are genuine enough as seen on this very forum. Next week though, I expect Mr Rippington to be detailing how Eastleigh got beaten and wondering how we will play on a ploughed up field in Halifax!

Don't wish to rain on the parade but given the angst on this very forum about racial abuse when we played Dartfod (or whoever it was) isn't this sexual inuendo a bit much - what's the difference between racial abuse and sexual abuse (other than massive knockers. Just joking by the way!

"It's my party and I'll cry if I want to". Meanwhile, we have a team to follow, possibly more relevant than some sh*t stirring which has been going on.
