Not sure I believe but would be good for Ollie to start helping us out. The emptiness of our little black book means not many willing to do us favours, too many burnt bridges I guess, but had to turn one day How many times has Ollie helped us out since he has been in a position to do so? The guy does what is right for him. If we sign Easter it will not be because Ollie has fed us a crumb of his table Our lack of connections is because we did away with our scouting network and so don't hear about people like LDV unless Dc or one of the others uses a personal connection.MM had to do it as did John Ward With Trollope and Lawrence we recruited far and wide but Buckle did away with them and relied on his own contacts and it is not coincidence that since then we went downhill That's odd as all the threads I recall about Lennie Lawrence were basically "what's the point of paying LL when he doesn't have all the contacts we expected and never brings in decent players". Then Lennie left and we all know what happened next!

I thought there was a 6 weeks period of grace from the delivery hours being agreed allowing an appeal which is due to end this week? if there is no appeal then surely the contract is "watertight" (as far as we are aware anyway) so we should surely be hearing something shortly?? And let's face it, if there is a time limit for an appeal you can be sure TRASH will wait until the last possible moment to submit it. The judge in the earlier Judicial Review really laid into TRASH for doing exactly that, but assuming they have the finance for another Judicial Review I can guarantee they'll do the same again.

I'm predicting we'll be level points with Barnet by the end of this month, remember this comment!! Maybe by the end of NEXT month!

Or maybe we all got bored stupid about the various reasons being put forward when in reality none of us actually knows and probably never will.

A little harsh! He didn't really have much time to make an impact tonight but held the ball up well a couple of times. But is he a winger or a striker? the jury is out on that one!

Strange. Spiess is the first one I would have on the team sheet.
I'd probably go: Spiess Leadbitter Trotman McChrystal Brown Balanta Sinclair Clarke Monkhouse Goldberg Wall GGMI - I sort of agree but my worry is that Spiess gets injured during the (less important though not meaningless) Trophy game, then we have Preston for all the Christmas games. Otherwise he'd be on my team sheet as well till Mildenhall gets back.

Sounds reasonable - a fairly strong team and no risking injuries to the senior players. Maybe try Preston in goal?

We have to set out to win every game now. Every game home or away is winnable we have to approach it with that attitude if we want to be champions. From what I've seen we do go out to win ever game. One striker needs to step up and deliver (or two of them one at a time!) and we'll be there or thereabouts. I think in almost every game we have fluffed goal chances and if that habit stops we will win loads of games. So it's not the attitude which is wrong, it's the missed chances (and no, I'm not singling MT out because the other aspects to his game make him worth sticking with)

Dinsdale's comment could be taken two ways: No more legal fees because Sainsbury's are honouring the contract No more legal fees because we've given up and accepted Sainsbury's are walking away I suspect it's the second option knowing his usual feelings about the Board but would like to think not! I get the impression he is anti failure rather than anti board tbh. Fairly sure he would be very happy if the current board were successful. You mean they're not?

The financial backing imo is because we have no further legal cases to fight and we have been keeping all the money we can towards that Not having a dig mate, I know you've said its your opinion, but I always struggle to see how and why fans make such comments. What information do you have to make such an assumption? Your answer is here nor there, just intrigued as to how people come up with this stuff. Dinsdale's comment could be taken two ways: No more legal fees because Sainsbury's are honouring the contract No more legal fees because we've given up and accepted Sainsbury's are walking away I suspect it's the second option knowing his usual feelings about the Board but would like to think not!

I don't think huge numbers attend Rovers and rugby games, especially since they moved to Trashton. Also, rugby needs little or no policing, so no problems there either. Nothing to cause any problems in my opinion.

Not sure if anyone has picked this up, but we soon will have a unique situation regarding Welling. The situation is, is that we actually play them twice in 7 days! We are home on 29th nov then play them again the following saturday 6th Dec! We all know that a simular event happens when we play Torquay on Boxing Day and then New Years Day 2015. But 2 play the same team twice in a week??? Never ever experienced this when we were a League team. Still, i guess it can only happen in the conference! It happened every Christmas until about 1965.

Should we warn them? I mean, Buckle is the biggest bell end to ever walk this earth. Lots of people in the game knew that long before he came to Rovers. It's a shame whoever appointed him didn't do their homework. Did quite well at Torquay somehow - I still can't work out how though.

I'd prefer a fit Allan Gow (where is he now?) Apart from his "I can't play at such a crap level" statement - half hoping he is without a club and regretting his lack of loyalty.

Call me a hideously reactionary, dyed-in the-wool historical anachronism, but for me the only point of having a say in the kit design would be to STOP commercial interests from constantly faffing about with it. If I had my way, Newcastle would wear black and white stripes, Arsenal would wear red with white sleeves and Rovers would wear blue and white quarters until some point after the Sun implodes. I don't mind what happens with away kit though. (But preferably quarters in some other colours.) If we're going retro, look at the front cover of the new Official History. Geoff Bradford's shirt looks ideal to me. Am I weird? You are a hideously ractionary, dyed-in-the-wool historical anachronism. But in all seriousnes, I agree. It is part of a clubs identity. Why change it. If my memory serves me right, the quarters were introduced in the 1930's "to make the players look bigger" - a Gas historian could probably clarify this. In about 1962 we changed to blue and white stripes, then 1965-ish to 1970 dark blue. It changed back to quarters in the Watney Cup/promotion season and has been quarters ever since, although the Tesco bag version was debatable! I don't agree with online voting for kit designs - we tried that a few years ago and the 'teds all voted for the worst possible design - I think we did the same to them when they tried the voting idea. JTS is right though that maybe a few people could influence the design. Just not on a public space! I would prefer that we retain the quarters for whatever home kit comes up - not too bothered about the away kit personally. I sort of agree with Markash (a rare event) that the designs should not be changed every season - maybe the sponsors but not the design.

"I am not in a position to be loaning out my expereinced players because we haven’t got a big squad" Apart from Brunt going to York City that is. expereinced? how do you pronounce that then? I call that one common sense - Brunt goes to York, gets match fit and comes back to Rovers ready to be effective again. Or maybe Rovers want him off the payroll, but that's a different subject.
