I agree but the format needs changing, live q and a without pre submited questions. Dinsdale that is considered dangerous as it cannot be stage managed..... I do agree with you though however it would need a strong Chairman.

I agree curlywurly, the Gasheads kept the noise and banter up throughout the game. I appreciate some grounds don't always carry noise but when the Gasheads sang it was like a library they weren't far off. I was surprised that the attendance was over 3,000 ~ it certainly didn't look anything like that.

Going by the radio Ellis missed a great chance at the death to force a replay ? He did ~ went well wide and into the stand. However he had made an impact when he came. We played well all through just had no one to get the ball in the back of the net in spite of numerous chances.

Today you would have thought we were the home side both from our attacking football and the noise made by the Gasheads even though there didn't seem to be that many. Tranmere showed why they are where they are in the League. Nervous with numerous missed passes. They will consider themselves very lucky today! We started well and it is one of the best passing games I have seen in a while. There were some great inter changes in the game and Sinclair especially must have a high pass % rate. Most of the players had a good game and Brunt seemed on good form. Taylor makes great runs and passes but never looked like scoring as did most of our "strikers". Looks like a midfielder playing upfront. Harrison made an initial impact but put one shot high in the stands when it looked easier to score. I have no idea who hand balled but it looked a bloody ludicrous thing to do when the ball was going nowhere. Gosling had some great wing play but looks very one footed playing on the wrong wing always having to cut back. Cunnington was brought on in a bold move by Clarke to at least "go for it" and finish attacking which nearly paid off. I won't criticise the team as it was a great performance and very enjoyable to watch the game. I hope they can keep this form up but yes we DO need a striker/fox in the box/just someone to get on the end of the balls we get in the box.....
Well played the Gas and well done the Gasheads for making so much noise

If Buckle's favourite they had better lower their expectations!

A Telford supporter has added the following information to a thread on the IF ~ Please make sure ALL your supporters are aware they need to get off the train at Wellington station, NOT TELFORD CENTRAL. Our ground is roughly a 10 min walk from the station, you can take the bus to the ground (stops right outside ground at White House hotel) or a taxi will be about £3 (that's the minimum fare round here). We don't usually have a police presence but as you travel in numbers I expect there will be a few on hand to give directions, if not then most natives are friendly so just ask. There is a bar and catering in the concourse of your stand. Safe journey guys. Taxi numbers 222222 or 501050 Read more: gasheads.org/thread/1626/telford-massive-away-support#ixzz3HcPhRdsiBest regards

Dorchester can only dream of being a Conference club however it is our nightmare. They should lower their expectations. They should or we should..... Only kidding!!

Great, we have had a brilliant win, we are all buoyant and suddenly its all about the mystical "ones that don't post when we win...." Come on, lighten up and stop trying to stir it up. Enjoy your evening or don't you know that we won today

No place for politics in football it just creates infighting. Celebrate what we have in common Agreed but what about council's owning football stadia.....? Also it is a bit ironic that the long time fan has stopped his sponsorship of a player from Ghana...... mixed messages there!

Well done to the lads, an important performance to get the winning feeling back round the place, a few goalscorers to think about too. And the first team debut of 15 year old Lewis Ellington, who to put things into perspective is now on his way to school. UTG Marcus Stewart's reflections: Skipper Mark McChrystal led by example; “He was outstanding and led the team very well. He’s a captain, and acts like one. It’s been a frustrating time for him recently but there is no faulting his attitude even though he’s not in the first team at the moment. “I can honestly say that the senior pros we had at the club last season wouldn’t have put in a performance the same as those players we had out there tonight. “We didn’t have that kind of leadership around the place and our younger players will have benefitted from playing with the likes of Mark tonight.” The two half time substitutes, Lewis Ellington and Harry White will be new names to Rovers supporters. “Overall, it was a satisfying night’s work. I was pleased we came from behind to win the game, I’ve seen one or two lads I’ve not seen before and our senior players were a credit to the club.” I thought the above comments stood out. It is good to see the attitude of players considering some of the stick they get from the fans these days. I also thought the comments about the youngsters coming through was heart warming and glad to see that we are looking at local talent. Lets hope if Harry White is good enough he doesn't get poached by anyone else.

The FA Cup is a tinpot competition? Yeah and Bristol City could easily face someone like Dorchester or somebody even lower in the fa cup main draw? Of even a Conference side like us..... if we get through

As someone has already pointed out elsewhere surely he will not be able to talk about issues that arose while he was a director as the fans directors have informed us that they cannot talk about a lot of issues because of "confidentiality". Surely if GD is going to "reveal all" then our fans directors will be able to do the same..... And of course no one will be able to argue with it or they will get a nice letter from his solictiors as they used to in the days of the old forum. Everything will be in the open after 25th November. Bloody hell Severncider is he writing it that quick...... Forgive me, what's happening then?PS Just saw Dinsdale's comment

Our FD is a paid employee and he does as he is told. He has also been referred to as our CEO so I don't believe that for one moment. A good FD will be constantly advising the BoD of the financial position and what is available within prepared budgets and forecasts. He will also be proactive in looking at best and worst case situations and, looking at the BoDs strategies going forward, informing them of what the company will need to achieve its goals. We are known to be reactive but then why should we be any different (as we were informed) we were only in the relegation zone for 70 minutes etc etc......
