Original Wimbledon rebranded as MK Dons, AFC Wimbledon completely separate team/company Aldershot went bust remember them dropping out of the league in 92 But do MK fans see themselves as the real Wimbledon? Always makes me wonder who their fans who are 20+ supported before them There used to be a team called Milton Keynes Borough that played in the SML but as most people from Milton Keynes over a certain age come from all over the place (it being a new city) so probably supported teams from where they came. People from Bletchley, Wolverton and Stony probably supported teams like Luton, Northampton or more likely Manchester United and Liverpool etc.

Thanks Gael gas. It would have been just as easy to bring forward the post he was referring to. But, never mind. Um I wasn't having a go, you asked a question, I answered it, sensitive much?

Rowett gone to Derby according to the Beeb, still leaves Norwich although I wouldn't be surprised of the stick with Irvine til the end of the season as they ain't getting into the playoffs, see how he does then decide at the end of the season. Not sure DC would be a big enough name for them.

Next Permanent Norwich Manager odds Alan Pardew 10/11 Roy Hodgson 9/4 Mark Warburton 9/2 Gary Holt 11/1 Alan Irvine 11/1 Nigel Pearson 25/1 Tim Sherwood 28/1 Paul Heckingbottom 28/1 Martin O'Neill 33/1 Michael O'Neill 33/1 Michael Appleton 33/1 Phil Parkinson 33/1 Danny Cowley 33/1 Paul Lambert 33/1 Darrell Clarke 33/1
Claudio Ranieri 33/1 Kenny Jackett 33/1 Ryan Giggs 33/1 Steve Cotterill 33/1 Mike Phelan 33/1 Garry Monk 40/1 Martin Jol 40/1 Steven Gerrard 40/1 Frank Lampard 40/1 Hope Powell 80/1 As for Derby I think Gary Rowett is overwhelming favourite to take over and Wigan have appointed assistant Graham Barrow on a deal till the end of the season. Hopefully this will calm a few people down!... Our interviewer is sh**e. Pretty much asks the same stupid sh** every week. I think DC quite enjoys playing with his food before eating it, he usually has a little glint in his eye when answering. That said, it's probably quite hard over a season to keep the questions fresh so I wouldn't be too hard on the reporter. Bottom line is that we get to hear what our manager thinks and for the most part I think we like what we hear.

I thought I'd look at it in a slightly different way, given that we have played most of the teams above and around us (save Peterborough and Millwall) and those in the mix for promotion and the playoffs still have to play each other. I assumed a win for our rivals in games against teams not involved in the hunt for the playoffs and a draw when two of our rivals played each other. I realise that this is not at all scientific but thought it might illustrate how hard/easy the run in for each club is. Sadly our run in doesn't look to be giving us that much of an advantage as I have us finishing 9th, the current 7 above us plus Rochdale (they do have 3 games in hand over us) finishing above us using that formula. Of course this doesn't take into account a team's form going off a cliff or fixture congestion etc, but while our run in looks pretty decent, it would seem that everyone else's is ok too.

If I had to put money on it I'd say Bolton are more likely to go up than Fleetwood, 1 point behind with a game in hand and just more resources and experience. Don't know how Bolton did them Saturday. They were completely overwhelmed by us a short while ago. It's a funny old game. It is a funny old game, Charlton fans must look at us and think the same, they have absolutely mullered us both times this season yet we are 8 points and 6 places above them!

Please clarify. Not sure what point you are making. But at least their figures are up to date. According to that we 6th above Millwall not 7th below them, that is the point i believe the poster is making.

Fleetwood are owned by an extremely wealthy guy who pumps millions into them. Mind you, same story at Scunthorpe I was more surprised that despite a fantastic season, their attendances have decreased by 10% this year.

With Taylor gone Gaffney is now our main man up front I guess, maybe a prolonged run and that responsibility will boost his confidence a bit.

I've just noticed Fleetwood are likely to get promoted haven't seen them all season. That's a good rise they were in the conference 5years ago if they can do it so can we I predict a dramatic Penalty shootout victory at wemberly that would be a great way to get promoted If I had to put money on it I'd say Bolton are more likely to go up than Fleetwood, 1 point behind with a game in hand and just more resources and experience.

14% increase on last year's attendance average, pretty good effort. I can't believe Fleetwood's attendance, 2nd in the league but 24th in the attendance league, fair enough, not a traditionally well supported team, but their attendances have actually gone down by 10% on last season, what do those people want? Must be hugely frustrating for the people in charge, what more can they do to get bums on seats.

That's because they are identical to ours, isn't that the whole point? Seemingly not last summer when I saw them in play as they had an odd slant to the quarters, so whilst they looked similar they weren't almost identical, which is the case now. ShirtsToday's highlightsAwww bless!

I thought that was Rovers when I clicked on the link, their shirts look identical to our home strip from a distance, 2-0 up now. That's because they are identical to ours, isn't that the whole point?

Just 24 votes is disappointing.
Come on there are enough Gasheads only to happy to increase their message contributions to 5k+ To be fair as I don't have a ST (800 mile round trip is just a bit too much every other week), I can't say I'd pay more or not. I should imagine there are a fair few like me.

Totally agree with you, the club should be proactive in this as well and liaise with CCFC, although they probably already are. I know when we went to Brum a few years ago and they gave us 1200 with another 1200 on the gate that the club sent message after message to BCFC to advise them, which Birmingham ignored, ended up as chaos. Yes I remember that. It was like the situation with Port Vale wasn't it? The netting wasn't far enough across the stands so they had to move it further and further as more gasheads piled in. Yeah, a lot worse though, they gave us space for 3,000 and about 5,000 turned up, and similar to Port Vale the official away attendance was grossly under reported because they had not printed enough tickets so had to open cash turnstiles so had no way of recording accurate numbers, also meant they didn't have to declare the income from the cash turnstiles, but I'm sure that didn't cross their minds.....

Seems odd as Swinedon got 2200, maybe Police but I don't know why we are considered more of a risk than they are. I think it would cause more trouble if they don't give us the tickets. If there are 3000+ people wanting to go and we've only got 1800 tickets, you can guarantee there will be at least a couple of hundred going in the home end. I just don't understand these situations sometimes, the home team causes themselves trouble more than the fans. Totally agree with you, the club should be proactive in this as well and liaise with CCFC, although they probably already are. Maybe they've sent us 1800 in advance with patg at the moment, if they go quickly they will make it all ticket and send us the rest of whatever allocation they decide to give us. Doesn't it also depend somewhat on us, we can ask for it to be made all ticket and for a specific allocation if it looks like we're going mob handed i think. Apparently no pay on the day and only 1800 tickets max - will sell out before priority 2 and general sale. Madness when so many want to go?? Police restriction? Seems odd as Swinedon got 2200, maybe Police but I don't know why we are considered more of a risk than they are.
