If Scunny don't go up, Josh Morris if you're looking for a goalscoring midfielder.

Get in. Been superb since he's been back at the club. Agreed he has been really good since he came back and I think there's more to come. I think a lot of credit has to go to DC and the general atmosphere around the club at the moment. The positivity and optimism is palpable, that must spur on the players to keep improving, great time to be a gashead, he's one of our own, he must be loving it too.

I got us finishing 6th on 74 points and but I'm an eternal optimist so we probably won't make it, all came down to the game against Millwall which I had us as winning, says it all really lol

Gael refers to Scots Gaelic, vast majority of Gaels are VERY Protestant, but I grew up down south and so the whole sectarian sh**e doesn't mean much to me. When I moved to Edinburgh I lived in Meadowbank and most of my mates were Hibees, the dynamic here is similar to Bristol, Hearts have always been billy big balls even though there's not much to chose between the 2 teams, they always have to spend big a give it laudy so I was always attracted to Hibs. I'm glad to say that apart from a few loyalist nutters in Gorgie the whole sectarian thing doesn't really affect us. All the bigoted barms just support the old firm. It's more where you are from and your famil, Hibs are very definitely Leith's team and the north and east of the city, Hearts west and south although not set in stone. Understand all that. I think I was just hoping you weren't a Jambo for those reasons. Anyway enough. This is a Rovers site after all. Quite right, but no, I'm no Scumbo 😁

Not sure TBH. But Gael is more Fenian than Proddy (though not always) I supposed I just assumed the best. My Dad is from Motherwell and they are my second team. We absolutely hate the Tynie Bar Stewards. Don't know why but my Weill supporting mates all hate them so - so do I. Hehe, inspired, I've used the post code of where I grew up in the past, although come to think of it, as I live in Edinburgh I'd probably get away with using my own... As long as we aren't playing the Jam Tarts Oh god no, I wouldn't give that scum my money!

In the post match interview DC mentioned targets. Specifically 53 points which would equal 07/08 post PT promotion and 63 points which is the highest L1 total for 17 seasons. Worries me a bit. I would imagine he has a stretch target of 70+ points he maybe isn't declaring. Our challenge is to get to playoffs, we need a team to really screw up as well as do well ourselves. We can only do our bit but closing what is now a 9 point gap (8 to overtake Millwall but they have a game in hand) is a hell of a mountain to climb. I bet he is going to give it a try though! No less than we should all expect There's usually one team at the top that falls away during the run in, although at the moment that looks like being Scunny and I think we're too far behind them to catch them. But doesn't mean we shouldn't give it the old college try. The attitude that our current squad has tells me they won't give it up until the maths say it's impossible.

A misunderstanding with a couple of mates, meant I arrived at the Kassam yesterday with no ticket. There was nothing else for it, I`d have to go in the home end. The conversation at the ticket office went like this: Me, "Adult ticket for the west stand, please." Ticket seller, "We haven`t got a west stand." Me, "Ah. Right. Which stand is that one then ?" Points towards the stand occupied by Gas. Ticket seller, looking at me suspiciously, " You`re not a Rovers fan, are you?" Me, " No no no, I`m just down here visiting from Glasgow." Ticket seller, "What`s your postcode?" Me, "Er, G168FB." At this point, I`d given up hope, but she punched my ficticious postcode into her computer, waited a few seconds and handed me a ticket. Was hard to sit still, especially when Ollie`s goal went in, but it all ended ok. Hehe, inspired, I've used the post code of where I grew up in the past, although come to think of it, as I live in Edinburgh I'd probably get away with using my own...

Looks like Taylor is in good company in the Championship's nether regions. Must have relieved a lot of the pressure he had been feeling while waiting to leap in to action from the bench. Watching that you cant help feeling we are ready for the step up! Taylor doesn't give a f**k I reckon . If he's on the £16000 a week that I've heard then that's over £1.6 m over the two years. I'd imagine there's quite a few picking up that kind of money there that don't give two shits about that library shitfest and that's why their there. Wankers. UTG. To be honest if Taylor is on that kind of money who can blame him, he was a non league player only a couple of years ago, he probably never dreamed he'd be on that kind of money. He and his family are set up for life if he's careful, I think we'd all put our family first if offered that kind of money. It's not like he's one of our own, I don't expect loyalty from players these days, just that they give 100℅ while they are on our books.

So 11 games to go this season and we're sitting pretty in 11th place with 48 points, passing unbeaten through a February in which I predicted we would be mullered regularly. 74 points is the average number of points needed over the last decade to get into the last play-off space in league one. I don't think for a minute we'll do it but let's examine the run-in as I see it: Oxford (A) - Draw Southend (H) - Draw Bury (A) - Win Chesterfield (H) - Win Coventry (A) - Win Shrewsbury (H) - Win Wimbledon (A) - Draw Gillingham (A) - Win Oldham (H) - Win Peterborough (A) - Lose Millwall (H) - Lose That puts us on 69 points, just shy of what we'll probably need (although enough for Chesterfield to sneak it in 2014/15). Anyone fancy us improving on my predictions and making a late charge with this new striker we're apparently getting? Groundbreaking and all that. id think long and hard before predicting a mid table team to go on a 16 match unbeaten run! Over optimistic predictions from me, we aint going up, get over it fellas Seriously who are you to tell anyone on here what to think, get over yourself mate.

Hopefully, like last year we'll be in blue & white quarters. That's an odd post as their home shirts are yellow and our away shirts are, er, yellow, so to avoid a clash..... Or am I missing something?

Agreed, you should always strive for the highest position possible and to win every game, if that means we end up in the playoffs then all well and good. For what it's worth I can't see DC letting the team coast along just because the playoffs are an outside bet. 'All well and good'?! I'd be absolutely fecking ecstatic! Haha sorry, I meant I'm not expecting us too, just that we don't coast until the end of the season.

I think it's all about momentum, we have to keep going to end of season else it's harder to pick up again next. The minute we concede playoffs are out of reach I fear we'll run out of steam. I'd love it to go to the wire again and really think it might. Hate the idea of a few dead rubbers to see the season out Agreed, you should always strive for the highest position possible and to win every game, if that means we end up in the playoffs then all well and good. Jonhson - "I'm not worried because I feel we are still in the mix". In the sh** mix more like. If you get a chance have a listen to one of his interviews. It's like a quick fire round of how many footballing phrases can you list. Hes getting away with it too. Genius. You only say 'we're still in the mix' if you're going for the bloody playoffs not if you're fighting relegation, divot!

I was (Fortunately, or unfortunately, I would have loved to have been singing with the rest of the gas fans) in Corporate hostility with 4 Bolton fans, 3 other gas and two Liverpool fans and without fail the Bolton and the Liverpool fans agreed that it was the best performance of any team they'd seen this season and couldn't understand how we didn't win at least 4-1. I have never been at an away game where, apart from the first 10 minutes, we have been so dominant. At half time the BBC 'statistics' said it was about 60:40 to us, which was about right, so I couldn't believe when they gave it only as 51:49 to us at the end and neither could the Bolton fans! I was pround to have been a gashead and left the stadium with a big smile on my face, which has not been the case for many of the past years, but has been more often in recent times under D.C.! I didn't stop smiling through the horrendous 4hr+ trip home! Onward to Oxford!! UTG Bolton's own website gave us 62% www.bwfc.co.uk/fixtures-results/match-report/?matchid=3926551&tcmuri=3154374They were nearly complimentary about us, a couple of times, nearly...
