Ken is a full director of 1883 ltd, and has signed off part of the group accounts relating to the community trust side. He is fully aware (or should be) of the finacial position of the club. His influence is obviously limited in the boardroom due to the Al Qadis being majority shareholders, however if things were that bad as some portray, i would expect the SC Director to show some integrity and not be party to the club being run into the ground. You cannot take on a position of responsibility and abdicate those responsibilities for those that put him there. I am not saying that is what is happening, only that in those circumstances he has 2 choices IMHO Given the texts that were floating around at the start of the season discrediting a few people in the club, which, allegedly were not true, I would assume that if there was something amiss with the accounts which had any ring of foundation, that KM would be the first to make it public. Perhaps Ken would care to comment on the money collected by BRFC on behalf of BRSC during the season 2017/18. Have BRSC received ALL the money?

Remember we are already 10 months into the next set of accounts, so someone somewhere is funding the clubif you bought a season ticket - YOU are! What season ticket money? I could almost guarantee that it has already been used to pay down the debts. Remember the last set of accounts showed a balance in the bank of £9k. That was AFTER the receipt of season ticket money. My fear is that as already mentioned, Dwayne Sports may not be prepared to guarantee loses for the future.

This delay is now turning into a farce.
What are the current custodians worried about? My understanding is that they have the audited accounts but for whatever reason do not want to publish them.
There must be a deadline of the end of June.

I didn't become ( yes I said became, I chose) a gashead over 35 years ago for the glory or the f**king photo ops. I guess people end up with the sense of humour they deserve as well. If the owner knows hes likely to meet a international celeb at a film preview, why wouldn't he not want to meet him and try to get a bit of free publicity for the club? As for how people have made their money, as long as it's not immoral, (although I doubt WA or SL could be deemed fully free if that), then good luck to them. SL being a tax exile and changing clubs doesn't really strike me as the sort of person that.. well whatever... Im going to sit in the sun I lived in Jersey for five years, did that make me a tax exile? I saw no benefit financially, but their State pensions are far better that the UK State pension. That pays for my season ticket.

Tbh we have hired quite a lot of staff over the past few seasons even making new positions for ex-players such as Mansell. Maybe after all this they realize too much money is being spent on the staff that's not necessarily needed? There's a few positions that some staff currently hold at the club where I'm not really a hundred percent sure on what they even do. Yes like the expenses claimed by the current custodians which to my knowledge were never claimed by Messer's Dunford, Craig or Higgs.

GC mentioned about having to cut the wage bill of the staff down and telling some he is letting them go. He also wants to bring 1 or 2 of his own people in. Do people know who any of the ones going or coming in, are? Mansell

............… when certain players get to know if they have a future at BRFC.
IMO, as we finished 30 points off a playoff position, we need wholesale changes to get anywhere near a top six position next season.

Renewed my West Stand seat at the old price of £370, new price £410.
Glad I renewed at the "Special Offer" price.

Speaking to a member of the office staff at the Development game yesterday, I was told that some "so called supporters" gave the staff abuse over the last few days because they waited to renew their season tickets to see if we were relegated. When they tried to renew, they were told it was too late at the old prices and would have to reapply when they were put on general sale. What a load of idiots. I assume the idiots are the fans who waited to renew, not the club staff. Not only did I renew mine and the wife's tickets about 3 weeks ago, knowing there was a possibility of relegation, but today Clare was able to get us two seats in the West Stand nearer the centre line, so what's the betting the people who had those seats and didn't renew on time will be moaning like stink. I've never understood why the league we are playing in affects the decision to buy season tickets - for a start, it's way cheaper per game and secondly, I support the team regardless of how low or high we are. Correct.

I don't understand how you don't know news about Rovers.
Head of Media, Keith Brookman will make sure everyone is kept up to date via the website and the award winning programme. Oh wait a minute....... Still we can't complain, the media, marketing and events team have done a fantastic job. We came third in an awards ceremony for our great video to sell season tickets. Only cost a few thousand and took a few hours but we managed to sell season tickets to the already converted! I don't think one new non Gashead bought a ST on the back of this. (We have probably lost a few older ST holders that don't use computers though due to the lack of letters dropping on their doormats to remind them to renew). I hope that none of the media, marketing or events team are full time, cos God only knows what they do all day. Not sure most of us are really that interested in which players have been offered pro contracts? As far as the media team the amount of stuff they put out via Twitter etc is quite impressive lately, and as vastly improved over the course of the season. Not sure any S/t holder is really going to overlook renewing their s/t just because they missed out on a reminder! Not much cop if you do not use social media. Very few around where I sit use Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. I do not use social media.

Line's is the only 1st team squad player, bar Kilgour, playing today, no, Smith, Slocombe, Kelly, Leads or Sincs playing today for some reason. Probally suggests the majority won't be here next season. Or they wanted to look at more of the younger player's, before deciding on whether to keep them at the club due next season.I was old that decisions have already been made on which of the youngsters are being kept. An enjoyable game sat out in the sun.

Have been told that the manager wants no pre-season foreign tour and just wants local matches with a training camp. That will save me and the owners a few quid. That's a shame for you, I've heard the lifts over in Spain are quite spacious. Not a problem, as he will not be here for pre-season training games.

Now fit again as he's played 90 minutes in both of the last two development games? My opinion. Lines and Leadbitter no longer fit in with GC's work ethic.
