If Lines is saying he can't play because of personal problems etc surely that's the player not making himself available to play for GC, rather than GC overlooking him for selection because he likes playing defensive CM's, which is what some posters have been suggesting. Although I still can't see him being selected until we're safe, or desperate!, against Barnsley GC hasn't said Lines has made himself unavailable. He said Lines hasn't been available to him. Big difference. Lines has played in the last two home Development games and looked perfectly fit to me.

We've been sh** at home all season not just under GC. One of the reasons I didn't make use of my season tickets this week. I also did not bother to turn up for yesterdays game. Instead I was enjoying a weekend break at the seaside and did not miss BRFC whatsoever. I have renewed my season ticket, BUT, I will not bother to attend every game whilst GC is still in charge. I will be at todays development game.

Thanks Tom great idea 😁 in all seriousness it is a great idea but expect they might beam back or we could be a sky choice. If promotion is riding on it then it will definitely be on Sky, which probably knocks on the head a beam back, although I doubt that'll put off Barnsley fans trying to get to see the game. They can have my ticket for £500 cash.

Not renewing. Apologies in advance for any misplaced opinions as I will be judging on less games. Just what the club needs. Part time supporters. You could always try Trashton Gate. I have renewed my season ticket but will be going to less games next season. Guess that makes me a part time supporter.

Or Severncider is correct! or watering in the wind.
The Accountants will most likely submit the accounts to companies house, so the only way for Severncider's hypothesis to be true is that Hani has not signed the accounts off.
What Dwane will actually be acheived by doing that is precisely nothing.
The accounts have to be signed off by the Chairman.

My understanding is that the audited accounts may have been received back from the Accountants BUT the Directors do NOT want to publish these at the moment.
I could be wrong, but have the feeling that they hope a takeover will take place shortly and the current custodians hope to kick this down the road for any new incumbents.
The financial year ends on 30th June each year, so I must assume that the AGM for 2017/18 must take place before 30th June 2019.

Last years AGM took place on Monday 19th March, so the AGM should be announced any time now, unless the losses are so great that these have been delayed.
I anticipate losses in excess of £2m for the year ending 30th June 2018.

The Lift Attendant in the west stand needs a sponsor. He'll be gone by the end of April.

I cannot see this on either BRFC or BRSC website.
Can I sponsor the Chairman or the new CEO?

When is the deadline for existing season ticket holders to renew at existing prices?
The article says the 16th April but on the renewal application page it says 24th April.

£285 to stand in the rain...... again watching what? - Div 1 OR Div 2? By offering so early surely means one thing - running out of money - AGM will be interesting. Knowall, you've got it in one. It looks like Dwayne Sports want the cash, before they depart and that will leave any new custodians with bugger all to play with. Please let this happen soon.

Are you still 99.99% certain UWE stadium will still be built ? 😂 Can guarantee that UWE will NOT be built. Keep up, I've already said it will not be built. Are you still convinced that any takeover "will never happen?"

As I was flying solo yesterday decided to change my pre-match routine. Lo and behold bumped into a recent ex director, an half hour conversation ensued What I was told about our owners has clarified a lot of my thoughts, but interestingly I was assured there is no one and never has been anyone ready to takeover our club. The three million a year debt we are racking up being one of the major reasons why and it would appear that success on the pitch (ie. Promotion) is a pre requirement before our owners are prepared to move on anything. This gentleman's information has convinced me that nothing is happening and will not happen for years let alone months.

Sounds like there's no real plans for a new stadium:All a bit depressing to listen to ahead of tomorrow's big game. Nothing new there with the present custodians in charge. Could someone buy him a BRFC club tie.

Yeah, the Sunderland fans were brilliant before and after the game. No doubt they have their fair share of idiots but the people we met couldn't have been nicer. UTG and 3 points tomorrow GC. Agree 100%, as you say OldGas, we have the odd one who bucks that notion.

I'm sure he will be so relieved. One can only imagine the sleepless nights he has had since the Sunderland lift debacle. I've messaged Hamer he will check insider for listening equipment tonight 😁😁 Game off.

Now this may sound implausible but I personally have no problem with the Chairman. My last talk with him was at Eindhoven when we had a very long chat. Also, before the season 2017/18 started he offered to personally fund a minibus to take me a few others to Corinthian Casuals for the pre-season friendly, but a medical condition, on my part, meant that we could not take up the offer. Perhaps we can have a chat at Cinderford tomorrow evening. You said on here his tenure was up at Xmas and he s still kicking about the club, he probably read what you put on here and was disappointed Incorrect. I asked the question " would he be here on New years day?"
