Perhaps they need to know the attendance 24 hours in advance for policing.

The reason we just sneaked into the automatics is the same reason you just missed out on the playoffs. LEE NICHOLS. He played 15 games on loan last season and cost us points. He also played in Wigans last game where they were thrashed by Barnsley to deny you. Looking at the hi-lights I reckon he was at fault for two of the goals. I hope he's not playing Saturday.

I think that Tom can consider himself extremely fortunate to have escaped a custodial sentence for this. Another Magistrate may well have decided to make an example of him. It seems he had had an argument with his girlfriend prior to this incident. I believe Parkes has a young child with this lady. I feel especially sorry for the infant. He or she is just as much a victim in all of this and it's always the children caught up in these incidents who are the innocents. For the child's sake, I hope the parents can sort this out. Very unlikely to get prison, Magistrates rely on advice from the legal adviser and laid down guidelines. They also would not jail someone for a first offence, crimes serious enough to warrant that are dealt with by the crown court. They must have thought he was capable of learning his lesson by offering the ban reducing drink awareness course.

To replace Taylor at £250,000 + say £3000 per week on a three year contract is over £700,000. Offering Taylor a contract at £4,000 works out about the same. Neither will happen.

Bournemouth buying Lewis Cook from Leeds for 6 million!! I remember not so long ago putting some coins in their collection buckets at Dean Court. How times have changed eh! They signed Tyrone Mings for £8M last year. After checking to make sure, it seems like he was with us at one point... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyrone_MingsBuckles reject list?

"Being Premier players they were not used to long throw ins" think Glenn Hoddle said it. I think the pace of the game is quicker at this tournament, more like Championship, but with skill factor added for the really good teams. Hodgson is stuck in the slow slow, back and sideways game.

We're the same as Scunthorpe, they were diddled out of a playoff place when Barnsley won 4 - 1 at Wigan! thanks to a certain Lee Nichols.

2009, Rovers played Millwall at the Mem there were plenty of Millwall supporters in the temporary home fans Guiness Stand. Rovers ripped them apart, going three up fairly quickly. I think they were to depressed to start anything.

I wonder what song Wigan have got for Lee Nichols after that 1-4 defeat by Barnsley. Scunthorpe surely can't be happy with Wigan playing him.

If you are a player who has played in the Conference and then done a little bit in Div 2 and had a chance of playing in Div One and the club offered you yet another deal then you would be dopey not to accept it. For me I would get rid of Puddy; as well Liam Lawrence. Both injury prone but we don't know what Puddy has been offered? May be even less than he was offered last year. Mildenhall was on a good wage, doubt if he was offered any more. Didn't someone on here say that Conference contracts for some players were £500 a week but that doubled for their L2 contracts.

I think Rovers missed out on being Champions by only drawing with Brighton. Remember thinking it would be a given being Rovers had stuffed them 8-2 away.

With regard to the out of time goal. It was unlucky. Now Ollie Clarkes later rescinded red card against Oxford was a bad decision that probably cost us points.
