I know we're not in the 1st div yet and we might not make it there this year anyway, but does anyone know roughly what sort of income a div 1 club gets from tv rights and from grants etc. Basically what the income is without matchday tickets and bars/ food etc. I have no idea but I'd imagine there is quite a large jump between 1st and 2nd division.

Yatton - That's great to hear but I'd have preferred him to have been signed up for another year already in the event that another club came in for him, although i suspect it could have had a destabiling affect on the squad if he had been singled out for a new contract and others hadn't. Let's hope we go up and he stays!

If the rumours are true and he is off to Hearts it will be a big loss for us - he really has come on a long way this season and i reckon he could do a good job at 1st division level. One things for sure and that is that we will have dropped a real clanger if he ends up going for nowt, something that we managed to prevent happening with all of our previous top scorers for as long as I can remember.

I liked the analogy that the landing lights are on and the undercarriage down. Surely that means we're coming in to land!

Although not overly tall at 6 feet JC looks like a very powerful chap to me. I certainly wouldn't want to get in a tussle with him!I think he is better suited as a right sided centre back as defensively he is good.

I'm sure it wasn't a guesstimate. No one would would undertake the building of a stadium on guesstimates. Who knows why it would cost now. I know that many materials aee much cheaper now than they were 5 years ago but labour is probably more expensive, although we can probably thank yhe tories for it not being much higher. If the stadium is going to contain more than previously envisaged then costs will be higher.

I wonder why the OP isn't Mildenhalls biggest fan given that he has acknowledged tha he has been very good since being back in the team? I think he has conducted himself very professionally and is a very good keeper at this level. I don't really know why it was necessary to day you aren't a fan.

Plymouth are dropping like a stone! I think they will do well to make the play-offs.

Topper - ive already acknowledged that dc is unlikely to sign a right back has he has now indicated that he is only looking to sign one player. But go back to my original post in which i asked for people's views about loan signings and then stated that I'd llike a right back for the reasons I've since given. I never said anything about other signings or that we shouldn't sign any other players just that I'd like a right back. Now, is that straight forward and simple enough for you to comprehend. And no it isn't nonsense and other people on this thread also see the need for a quality righ back. We might be right or wrong in your eyes but frankly I'm already tiring of your arrogance.

In my time there have only been 2 really good right backs in my view, I Alexander and D Pritchard. Unfortunately Pritchard tried to engineer a move to join J Ward at City so I Alexander is now my clear favourite!!! I understand DC is looking to bring 1 new player in so we shall see what position is filled; probably some kind of midfielder but I stand by my view that I'd like to see a quality right back. Having said that I'm not adverse to any very good quality players being signed!

Gas go marching in - we all have different opinions dont we? I feel that brown as a left back is stronger than leaddsbor clarke at right back. I feel a really good mobile right back would be an asset.it seems to me that leads is better going forward and clarke more solid and reliable but won't get forward much. It would seem that I'm out of kilter with lots on here but thats my view and this is a forum. Would you be happy with the current choices at right back for next year because i wouldn't.

Thank you Lulworth. That is exactly my view. Anyway i dont think I'll bother starting a thread again as all you receive in return is sly digs!

I'm not impressed with clarke or leads at right back and feel a dedicated right back who is very solid would be a benefit to us. We have players who can do a job there but that's all they do. I'd like a little more.

What are people's thoughts on the likelihood of reinforcements arriving this week and what positions need strengthening? I'd like to see a right back signed!

Looks like DC is setting them up to keep the game tight for the first 60 minutes or so and will then change formation and bring on some more attacking players later.
