You can’t have a beer on a bus? Really? Killjoys win everything these days. I can understand ecigs - I mean, they smell nice, have no noxious fumes but it does give a chance for some people to get a bit of attention by getting upset. It was “passive smoking” before but now it’s just “I don’t like the smell”, but I can see how it does on a surface level affect others if you cloud chase directly into someone’s face. I appreciate it’s the law, and Wael’s done a solid one by the fans so it should be respected, but it’s disappointing the days of freedom I remember, where the over sensitives were the ones who had to deal with their sh** without stopping everyone’s fun were rightly overruled. Actual fags, that’s wrong but I remember well coaches where some adults had a few beers and as a kid I quite liked it. I mean, it’s the law. The law probably doesn’t care if you think it’s a “killjoy”. I believe it’s also illegal to consume alcohol on private coaches aswell…..

4 wins in 12, a load of players out of contract and a manager that has quite frankly, been an absolute shambles since his appointment. And people are still lapping it up 😂

What sort of preparation all this is for our FA Cup tie at the weekend. Farcical. Yes, it is poor preparation for an important match for us. As we knew the dates I hope Wael and whoever have planned for this and Bond, Mangan and Warner have been preparing in the way we should be. I can’t imagine the needs of BRFC or the preparation we need has played any part or been part of any thought by the CPS. They will have a very blinkered approach to it. Indeed, they may well be asking who the **** are Bristol Rovers? UTG! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Please tell me this is a parody? CPS need to get think about the needs of Bristol Rovers….. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaba

The attendance figures include ST holders and ticket holders not in attendance. It was never 7500 yesterday. There were loads of people who didn’t go. Out of my group, 7 ST holders didn’t attend.....

Complete and utter rubbish written in here. Lance works his absolute arse off for the club and is one of the good people associated with Bristol Rovers. He pours his heart and soul into the role and has done for years. All of it unpaid. In fact he now travels over from Cardiff each hime hame aswell. Given the wrong information about the substitution yesterday, but of course that has to be his fault doesn’t it.
The PA system at the ground is an absolute shambles. Imagine working with that every week.
Oh, and where is the praise for the multiple incredible tributes that he has penned over the last few years for things such as remembering the fallen or tributes for ex players.
Get off of the back of the good, hard working people and vent at the incompetency of the board and management team.

Wael will at least wait until Bartons trial as he may have the decision made for him. I've always said id see where we are in Nov/Dec but too many more of today's type of performance and the pressure will be really on. Coutts, Anderton, Hughes....not seen anything from them so, far despite being the experienced leaders we were led to believe. If anyone has seen the sky highlights, the attempted 'challenge' by Hughes at the end was pathetic. Hughes looks no better than Ehmer, who at least was a decent footballer even if he was a poor defender. Why do we find it so hard to sign a dominant CB since the likes of Elliott and McChrystal departed? It's hard to believe Kilgour can't now get into a L2 side over Baldwin, Hughes and Anderton. Hughes was directly at fault for the first three goals. 1st with his awful header across goal 2nd let his man run across him 3rd is his man with the free header Not forgetting he was all ends up in 2nd when Exeter could’ve score again. Made numerous errors midweek and have away a ridiculous penalty at Mansfield. An absolute car crash of a defender.

Neither myself, my son or my friend who sits two seats away have had the email this evening. Anyone else a ST holder but not received the email? Doesnt inspire confidence ahead of Saturday and Tuesday...... I haven’t either , along with many others, they will be sending emails out over the next couple of days to everyone. Ok, reassuring (in an ironic way) that its not just me. I appreciate the response. Thank you.

The old board let us down, not any shop chain. Too right. I will continue to use Argos, just as I continue to get my petrol and some shopping in Sainsburys, just like I continued to drink at The Welly.

Station is miles away... No pubs near the ground! Where are the gas army drinking on saturday? We arrive at 10:10am... Up the gas the stadium has its own station, i suppose it depends what you consider miles away but to me it looks no more than 50 yards.... Have you read about the restrictions with the stadium train station................

Spot on, I assume that's Andy Williams not a v. young looking Lines? It's hard to believe now that Pipe & Lambo played together in the same team. I thought it was lines but I think your right Topper it's the old crooner Mr Williams. Its Lines. Williams wasn't even on the pitch when we scored.

Even more of a reason to boycott. Club has put in place plans to not lose the money. Another low crowd helps the against arguement.

I would hardly call the 3 new lads quality. Not knocking them as they haven't played but they're un heard of and have no background to suggest there quality. In DC I trust though so I look forward to seeing them. Unheard of for who?
Anyone who has had half an understanding of the FL these last few years would have heard of these 3.

I've got a 2 year old son and a 4 1/2 year old daughter. She has asked to come along. However, in all honesty I couldn't think of anything worse. My daughter may well get a chance in the next 18 months or so. Ideally I will wait until about 6 years old. Its hard enough to go anywhere with them at a young age, let alone the Mem.
maybe when they each reach 6 ish I will consider it.

Yep, he's learnt how to play the bumbling Bristol buffoon in the media and people lap it up. Ask Leicester and Argyle fans their thoughts on him. Left them in great positions. As I started watching Rovers in 93', I have no emotional attachment to Holloway. I would guess that most who would want him back have (rightly) fond memories of the 1990 team. However IMO, it also clouds a lot of peoples judgement on his managerial abilty. Playing the Bristol Buffon as you put it and the 'taken us 15 years' claptrap to recover from his era are two separate issues. The first one I will give you to a certain extent but the second no chance. Your thoughts on that runaway season which de railed spectacularly due to the two mentioned players are..... My thoughts on the de-railed season and the horrific signings of Wolleaston and Stewart to replace Mauge? I was at Reading away in the March when he acted like a spoilt child and failed to control himself. Got himself sent to the stands and showed a ridiculous lack of discipline. No surprise that that night was the start of the wheels coming off and him losing the dressing room. Its incredibly lazy to place our failings at the feet of Roberts and Cureton that season.

Its taken us 15 years to recover from his miss-management and yet people would want him back as manager? The mind boggles. I would say two players f**ked Holloway and the Rovers over from that era. Jason Roberts and Jamie Cureton. The one player who got the rough end of the stick for their 'f**k you I'm off ' attitude was one of the best keepers Rovers have had, Brian Parkin. Strangely only Cureton gets stick. And he didn't get his move. I'll always remember the first game of the next season when he came out to boos with his head firmly down like a naughty, told off little schoolboy. But to me they are an equal pair of ca'nunts. Plus, Holloway has learnt plenty from those novice days of management. Yep, he's learnt how to play the bumbling Bristol buffoon in the media and people lap it up. Ask Leicester and Argyle fans their thoughts on him. Left them in great positions. As I started watching Rovers in 93', I have no emotional attachment to Holloway.
