Interesting comment about wanting a professional manager, obviously Barton's mouth cost him his job. But basically a nothing interview, we all want the premiership but I'd happily settle for midtable championship for five years, cue another five pages on one turd💩

As usual you’ll get the naysayers saying it’ll never happen, it’s embarrassing etc etc . Look , there’s nothing wrong with having ambition, hope and a desire to reach the top. Other clubs have done it and there’s no reason why we can’t be there one day .
Much rather have owners who have ambition than just happy to keep the club alive. Ps couldn’t give a flying f what the teds might say . Are they in Europe yet ?

Why do so many of our fans give a sh!t of what they think over the river?? We’ve been in their shadow for decades now let them say what they want 🙄
The man can’t win he was asked a question and is getting crap because he’s got ambition I’d rather have owners like this any day of the week then what we’ve had in the past UTG

“A dedicated, professional individual to be in the role”…….had me giggling, brilliant, all he needed to add to this was the previous bloke had too many distractions and insecurity problems!
*My only concern is someone is going to buy JCH to help get promotion, and we are talking about the Premiership but we are not spending this window.

However as always it’s actions that will speak louder than words. I can’t say that at this moment in time I have any more confidence in this fella than anyone else that’s owned us.

All words though, why not invest in this window, JCH (just an example) is a bargain now and we’d have this sort of player bedded in for next season already?

Don't think he suits the high press system and it will be cheaper to sign Martin to a longer contact. It would be better to wait for the right player, even if we have to wait until the summer. JCH isn't worth the money at his age.

JCH isn't worth the money at his age. Wherever JCH ends up for the 2nd half of the season he will Bang 12-15 goals in. That’s just my opinion but I think we are mad to have not gone for him. If Martin gets injured and whether he can play 90 minutes each week then I am struggling to see where the goals will come from. Marquis runs around and puts in 100 percent but he isn’t the striker we can rely on. I’m hoping this window we can bring somebody in.

Discussed this elsewhere, I’d rather invest any money on a younger player . It might be just words ( what else could it be?) , but it’s a stated aim to reach at least the championship and it adds a bit of self imposed pressure. He didn’t need to do that .

Carlisle's new American owner clearly feels differently as I doubt Luke Armstrong was a cheap signing for them. Our recent results highlight just how weak L1 is this season but the new owners seem to have no ambition to make the top 6 this season. It'll be interesting to see how they back MT in the summer as the "you don't get value in January" clearly won't apply then.

That’s up to you how you feel bud, But the blokes only been here a matter of months but out of interest what was you expecting by now for you not to trust him? What should he have done by now? He was willing to break our transfer record but for stuff behind the scenes that was out of his control it didn’t happen. 🤷♂️

Every single owner we’ve had has said they want to get Rovers to the champ.

The bloke doesn’t move, he’s about as useful as someone we’ve already got in Martin. Just would cost a lot more I’d rather the money was spent elsewhere.
