There again how many players are out of contract in the summer? Flashing the cash now may leave us short of funds then. £7.5k p/w we were prepared to off JCH. Could get 2 or 3 quality out-of-contract players in the summer for that sort of money. Do you know that for a fact ? (£7.5k p/w How much more would he have been on than our next highest paid player ? Heard rumours on here that Martin is on 5k a week but always take things like that with a massive pinch of salt! |

The talk up here (Oxford) that Rodriguez is on £4K a week, Notts County offered him top money to stay. Wrexham paying Mullen £5k a week, you’ve got to pay £5k a week now for an ok striker! |

Why can't we go and get the next Rodrigues or similar like Notts County did? 7.5k p/w for a soon to be 30-year-old JCH, compared to average salaries in Australian A-League - £3.3k p/w, South Korean K-League - £1.8k, French Ligue 2 - £2.6k, La Liga 2 - £4.8k, Bundesliga 2 - £5.1k, Serie B - £5.9k, Belgium Pro League - £5.1k and the Netherlands Eredivisie - £5.6k. |

Perhaps it's something to do with the fact there's no guarantee that they'll be any good in L1? The club knows what it's getting signing the likes of JCH or CM.

How many of us would prefer to be in Bristol Sports 1982 Ltd position, all under 1 company no history and an owner who's more interested in the Rugby, I don't mean the league because of course we like to be in the Championship but the rest of it, I know I wouldn't Think I've hit a nerve on ostib with this comment lol, there is a fu....g idiot that likes to come here copy and paste and put it on there, still glad I got to them, 82ers do make me laugh poor little sods |

We backed that mad man well, he keeps referencing it’s a big squad and the more I think we had a £4.5 million budget. |
