He wants out, it’s so clear, this interview with Radio Bristol is damning Go to 55 mins onwards……..the manager uses the word “Debrief” www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0jqcdfd?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobileIt will be interesting how everyone in and around the club debriefs this We are learning about Promises body, record signing who can’t play twice a week. That game told a lot of people the truth tonight - aimed at the board It will be interesting to see where people think (the board) where this squad is really at. We’ve got players here lucky to be training with us. ……..there you go folks, not much difference here to Graham Potter at Chelsea. Young Kuwaiti kid never worked in football before at any level running the club. 35 year old DOF in his first job in football at a club outside of playing the game. 40% shareholder advertising midweek he’s going in the away end and buying beers for the fans, it’s a goodbye tour for him…………..I don’t agree with the managers tactics but I do feel sorry for him, who’d want this job? *When Cogs lost he’d say I love these boys, they give their all for me and train so hard every day, we will go again and I trust them. Last night was a manager who had no tie or connection to the players, if they were his signings he would not be saying “some are lucky to train with us”. If he choose his own players he’d never have said “it will be interesting to see what people think of this squad now” because the owner and us fans would say, you choose the players pal?!?! 5 central midfielders, 5 strikers, it’s a mess, he can’t keep them all happy and the ones he only trusts are the older men like Ward, Lindsay, Wilson, Hunt and Martin. It’s clear he likes Sotiriou, Taylor Moore etc but we’ve got a Premiership player here who Villa paid 7 figures for on the bench, a Champ young player or the season with 21 appearances last season……….and he’s just been told, work with this and make them happy, he’s not Pep?!?!

Who says Promise can’t play twice a week? He played Charlton and Burton in the space of a week and played over 45 minutes last night.
George Friend’s age is irrelevant. He’s had a good career in the game, if he’s good enough, he’s old enough.
Wael has been in the away end at games before.
Also I don’t think Taylor would throw a game to make a point to the board.
Not everything is a conspiracy theory, we just played crap last night.

He said we are learning about Promise’s body, he never said he was injured, he indicated he can’t play twice a week, listen to it.
Friend’s age is relevant and experience, compare him to Barry Fry and Lennie Lawrence or Perryman at Exeter. Most people work their way up to a DOF role, basically running the football operation of a club.
He didn’t throw the game, he has to keep players happy and the board. I know for a fact, no JFK conspiracy theory here that Hutchinson agent is going mad at the person who signed and did the deal with him.
He doesn’t want to start half those players, some are sulking around the training ground “it will be interesting what people think of the squad now”. This is, there you go Abdul, I’ve given such and such a go, look at how he played and you signed him?!?!

We are told to ignore last seasons sh**e results, performances and unwanted club records broken for consecutive games without scoring, because apparently "they weren't his players".
Now we have allegedly broken our transfer record twice in one window to sign two players and paid fees for several others, but now these players aren't his again apparently, so Taylor can now again be forgiven for sh**e results, performances and the worst defeat to Swindon since 1913.
Didn't Taylor break the club transfer window twice in one window at Rotherham, only for the results to then get worse the following season? Maybe the so-called 'manager' should take a look in the mirror.

Wes, hands up mate, I don’t like his tactics or think he’s the right manager for us but……….lets say Holloway walks in, how does he keep 5 CM’s, 5 strikers, 7 figure Prem player, Champ young player of the season happy?!?!
I’d let Taylor go, for me that’s not the debate, we’ve swallowed a Peterborough United manual, I’d say you have a better football knowledge of players than Abdul and Friend.
The club is at war with the manager, the VP addressed the players, Wilson saying we had a meeting and we knew the “consequences” was another statement telling all.
It’s Cellino/Boehly stuff.

Makes me laugh, some on here are the same ones who didn't want Barton either, well you got what you wanted, a PE teacher and now you don't want him, maybe we can let these posters choose the next manager if Taylor goes, now that would be interesting

I think his public dealings on X since he left us has justified what a lot of us saw and knew, Luke Thomas public dressing down was the final straw for me, you don’t call employees idiots live on radio. I think fans choosing managers is funny as well, none of us work in the industry at football decision level, commercially is different. Look at Brighton bringing in new managers the fan base have never heard off, some clubs know how to do it. We offered Robinson the job last year, Monk was interviewed, look at both of them now, we have fan boys running the club now.

Ok who do YOU want as our manager? No idea, it’s not for me to choose, gun to head now, Ryan Lowe. Re his prison stuff, CPS won appeal, his wife was the one who dialled 999, police body cameras have her on video saying what he did. He will do well to get off this, got a previous record, imagine he will be made example of if guilty, hope he gets a decade 😂👍 Have you just seen the Dan Hargreaves tweet re what Taylor said?!

Can't embed but Hargraves tweet:
"Another stand out quote from MT last night: "A lot of time I'll take responsibility. I'm not sure tonight is one where I can take full responsibility for that performance. They'll (fans) say I've signed the players. They'll say I've played a big part in an awful lot of this football club..." #UTG"

He’s hung players…his players….out to dry last night…lacking game time, low on confidence and surrounded by other players feeling the same, in a ramshackle formation that set them up to fail….then he sat upstairs watching it unfold as if to say “I’ll show you”. Then unlike any good manager, he hasn’t taken any responsibility or protected the players from media and fan criticism, in order to protect himself. He’s a coward. Watch any post match from a losing manager last night. Watch Darrell Clarke. None of them will be happy. But they will deal with that at training on the grass individually and collectively. Publicly they all talk of game time, fitness, valuable minutes etc etc and they protect their group…their club….their players…from the noise that surrounds any loss in football.

I said last night that there is something rotten at this football club.
The performance and interviews of MT and TM testify to this.
One thing we should do is recognise "the truth" from the game last night.
I would not pick Luke Thomas (the sulker), Hutchinson or Garrett again. Set the professionsl sporting bar at a reasonable level and remove them. January - get rid. Those 3 were an absolute disgrace last night.
George Friend has a lot to account for as well. Where were the character and fitness references done on Hutchinson, Garrett and Omochere?

Looking at it, his case will be heard in a Magistrates Court which I believe can give a max sentence of 6 months.

I'm actually starting to feel a little sorry for Taylor because a lot of what Roady has said is starting to ring true after listenning to recent interviews.
I'm not saying he's 100% correct on everything. There are no doubt some things he's more sure on than others, but it really does sound like there is at least some truth in what he's saying, and if that's the case, I'm not sure it matters who our manager is.
Taylor is probably on borrowed time. Interviews like last night suggest he knows this and wants to get his point across before he's gone.
Although I'm starting to feel a change in manager might be necessary and maybe inevitable, I'm less convinced the change will spark a massive improvement on the pitch.

Thomas was poor in general but looked like he was destroyed as a person and someone alluded to some mental issues earlier?. No one will convince me Hutchinson and Garrett were worse than Bilongo, Sousa, Shaw, Donker, Macca or Promise and singling anyone out is cheap and way too easy.

It's supposed to ring true as somebody connected to MT is clearly feeding Roadman, virtually every post is critical of the owners but MT escapes any criticism, even though his whole time with us as been, mainly, appalling.
Last season it was all JB's players fault, this season it's now the VP's fault, who's fault was it as Rotherham?
If PC can't play twice in a week, then why risk our £500K striker in a meaningless cup game?
The blokes an imposter who's found a friend in Roadman to cover up that he's totally out of his depth.

I agree with everything you say here - sadly I will add Connor Taylor to the list - he appears to me to be just going through the motions.
