We won yesterday and played well Totally agree; I don't understand why so many are moaning about the new owners; the club has come a long way since 86 leaving what was a dilapidated Eastville Stadium, the club played for 10 seasons at Twerton, training at Frys while fighting to get back to Bristol, its only since the arrival of Wael the club has managed to replace the old Frenchay site with its own new Training Ground, and this week managed to quasi open a new 3000 seater South Stand, largely financed I understand by the new owner, wtf do people expect ? Where we were playing 40 years ago or the state of the club then has sod all to where we should be now. Brighton were playing at the Withdean Stadium 13 years ago with hardly a pot to pee in, look at them now.

If it's true that the owner's son offered Collins a new contract back in Sept and then pulled it that stinks. It also, for me, puts a completely different light on his performances afterwards. No wonder he looked pi$$ed off and disinterested. I think if most of us were offered a wage rise by our employer and then had it taken away we'd feel the same. No issue with him not playing yesterday either if the club have been actively seeking to offload him.

Quite right to demand a mil or more for the current League One Player of the Year and current top assist creator. Do you think we'll get that though? I'd be surprised if we get more than half that tbh. Guess we'll find out soon if the owner's son is as clueless about selling players as he's been said to be about buying them.

I'm guessing talks would have to be fairly advanced with at least one of those parties for him to be left out today.

Hopefully those in attendance on Saturday can at least raise a few "you don't know what you're doing" chants towards the holiday chalets.

Post match interview was just as depressing Sounds like it's starting to dawn on him what a sh** show the club is. Wouldn't be surprised if he jacks it in with us and decides spending some time with his family for a bit is a better idea.

I've had a nasty feeling for a while that I just can't shake off. With these owners and the lack of a proper structure and plan we're closer to sleepwalking back to D2 then we are to challenging for promotion.
I really thought next season could be where it starts showing but looks like the rot has well and truly set in already.

Quite possible that Martin hasn't agreed terms yet so he's told the club he's sick and unavailable.

All this talk of pacey strikers who press and the only guy doing what he is paid to do is 35 and barely moves It does seem an incredibly short sighted decision if true. This sesson is done so we should only be signing players with an eye on next year. Much rather we got in a younger player on loan who might he available in the summer.

Any Idea why Hoole's preferred over Connolly , assuming he's playing at CB rather than RB? Because the manager needs to have a good look at all the players?

I can't get ifollow audio to work on desktop (firefox or chrome), the player isn't launching... but it is working for me on mobile (android/firefox). You can also listen to it via the BBC Sport website if that helps.

Can't believe they named it the Brunel Stand, sponsorship or not it still could have been the Geoff Bradford Brunel or the Gerry Francis Brunel Stand etc As fans I feel we need to have a voice over our club.....remember' no fans money then no bloody clubby! I don't think a temporary stand that will be half filled most of the time with away fans is a fitting tribute to either of them. Much better to save that sort of thing for a proper main stand i.e. East or North if it's ever built.

Posh are only saying JCH should accept the contract offer from Charlton because that's the highest transfer fee offer for Posh. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes for less than 150k. At this rate they'll be releasing him for nothing just to get his wages off the books!

Don’t want to sound too smug, but I did tell you all, SAg did find a load of small problems by all accounts, look out for a large screen on the south west stand soon too Do you mean South East where the gap is?

Seems a few posters want us to play our best 11 today and expect them all to be good to go again on Wednesday in the big cup tie. TBH I expected a few more changes today. As for Brown, the only way he's going to get back to the player we all saw at Exeter is by playing. The alternative is to give up on him and leave him on the bench.

Charlton forum saying " agents dragging their feet now " .Also 10k a week is rumoured as wage demand which I find laughable Like always it will be the club who comes up with the best package for the agents / JCH which may be Wrexham. He must be haggling for some London Weighting
