Yet another massive game - I'm going for a hard fought 1-2 victory for Rovers. Just hope that things don't boil over, with Trevor Kettle in charge of the cards today. Surely he must appreciate the need to let off steam.

He left after lockdown when the club weren’t training I think, but agreed he always looked like he was carrying a bit too much timber whilst with us. He reported back for training, having put on quite a bit of weight, hence he was not seen in the video clips of the players training which were on the club website. The club staff couldn't be expected to get him back in peak condition in a matter of weeks. Even if he`d reported back heavier than a Toyota Land Cruiser, he still would have been the best player on our books. By a country mile. Sums us up.

We were also relegated in 1981 but not 1951, 1961, 1971 nor 1991. 1941?

Just really finding supporting Rovers is like torture at the moment. I really think we are going down, sorry to be a naysayer, but we are su gutless and vulnerable. Whenever we have the lead we give it away so easily - you can just feel the confidence of this team so low. It’s just horrific supporting this club presently. I feel sorry for Wael. All his investment and training ground etc and we are heading for the 4th tier. We could be down there 10 years. It’s not an easy league to climb out of by any means. Watching Rovers is like watching a team on FIFA when the run of play computer AI is against them. That free kick - I knew it was going in, I could see even the corner it was going. It’s just inevitable, it feels like it. I thought after the Wigan game that we were too poor to stay up, and I`ve not seen anything since to make me change my mind. The Accrington win was great to watch, but I had no confidence that it would result in a sustained uptick in form, and one point from the following two games confirmed my fears. I was delighted with Barton`s appointment, but seven points from a possible twenty one is desperately disappointing.
However, I don`t believe anything is inevitable, and I just hope that Barton manages to get our strikers scoring and our defenders conceding fewer goals, or failing that, that there are four worse teams than us, come the end of the season. It`s the hope that kills you. UTG!!

I'm pretty sure the City game that was called off for ice is the one we won on the Tuesdsy night that had thousands locked out and Beadle scored both goals. The rearranged Swindle game, wasn`t the worst day of my life either. One nil down for most of it, then two goals in a minute to shut the fcuckers up. Sorted.

Couldn't really be any clearer how we lost control in the last 15 minutes. Looks like the flight deck of Concorde.

Can’t lie I was waiting for him to score so I could say it was Jonah and the Wael and pull out the song Tonight’s the kind of night Shame they don`t share a house. You could have had, "Jonah, he lived with a Wael....."

Not looking for attention Okebourne, just staying my case to try to answer the foul abuse that I have received from certain posters What do you f**king expect when you came on here stating any ‘decent’ person should boycott games? Not everyone likes Barton, some may even choose not to watch games but you take it a step further with your moral superiority and slag off your ‘fellow gasheads’. Fingers crossed Barton keeps us up and takes us into next season and you can spend your Saturday afternoons in B&Q. Agree absolutely. In the name of F##k, we`re a football club, not The Fabian Society.

Lol. Only the Gas could be 4-1 up with five minutes to play, and the fans still can`t relax without a 5th.

I went wrong. I’d been away for 3 years and cut a 3 month tour of South America in half to catch the tail end of that season. I should of stayed in Bogota. It wasn’t all bad though, as Mrs Gasshole has never asked to come to another game after Cardiff away. I remember that. Being penned in that car park with a massive mob of their fans coming after us. I was about 17 and bricking it. It did make me wonder, usually in football, the “firm” is usually a small bunch of guys, maybe 50-200. If seemed with Cardiff their firm was one entire stand, from memory it was a couple of thousand surrounding the car park. Mad. To be fair, the police had it pretty sorted that day. I never felt that there was any likelihood of Cardiff getting into the carpark. Or maybe I was just too angry about the dross I`d just witnessed, to care. I remember games at Cardiff, ( and Swansea ) in the eighties, where it did get very tasty.

The following I understand r out of contract Leahy JVS Little Davies Kelly Hare Upson Hargreaves Bennett Ogogo there is ten for a start another one to go 4 me Barrett id keep leahy, jvs and hare from that. Leahy has done well and the other 2 have unrealised potential imo. Surely all potential is unrealised. That`s why it`s potential.

Rod Liddle left his wife for a young one
To me, punching a pregnant woman is worse than anything Barton`s done. Although, in today`s brave new world, I`m sure it won`t be seen like that.
