"What we need this transfer window is experienced players at this level, not young kids..."
Sign a fella with bundles of experience at L1 and above.
"Bloody hell, what we doing signing old players who are no better than what we have?!"
Can. Not. Win.

Its the well publicised YTL group, who own the Brabazon Hanger. It is also about the arena, a music and entertainment venue, at that land. But you know that anyway dont you HG? Put the spoon down... for some reason people think you know what you are talking about when it comes to planning and developments! good morning to you my fellow Ted Get called out for stirring and resort to name calling - nice! You've even sold me a computer off the forum. Classy way to treat customers... But, I mean, if you want to go through my post and tell me where I'm wrong, go ahead.

Recent quote from our mayor marvellous Marvin " At the same time, we have received an offer from a private company to build an arena with their own money on their own land, with the option of us taking a financial stake in that project,” he said. “This would need infrastructure work around transport and access that we would carry out with public money but the private company would build the arena." umm i wonder who that could be...... As Womble said previously, if you wanted to extend a planning permission, you would have to apply for this. Thus it would be on the planning portal along with the other application. This is applicable as much for a stadium as it is for an extension.
Case example for you - Memorial Stadium regeneration of yesteryear:
08/00061/F - Application for regeneration of MEM 11/04047/R - Application for extension of time for application above.
Nothing exists for UWE. More bluster and rumour...

I know because I asked him in the corridors of power on Saturday. But Darrell gave me a dead leg and told me not to divulge the information.* *One part of this story is true. How's the leg ? Still better than Billy's!

Whenever the club get round to announcing this, can they please confirm that Gasheads can attend the game, it will not be played behind Closed Doors.
I ask as this has not been arranged by Stuart and John, it is solely down to BRFC. I suppose if some people give the club a chance to announce things, instead of getting the warm fuzzy feeling their pants for breaking the news, full details will be given at the correct time when things have been finalised.

Sorry I couldn't let this go... are we talking about Gerry Francis the first team coach at West Bromwich Albion? How does he have a say about transfer dealings at Stoke? Apart from that, solid theory. EH? Where did I say he did? Apart from that solid reply. Go back and have a re-read........ Chill out love. Apart from the fact my message was mostly aimed at the original poster, you also heavily insinuated you thought he was still at Stoke, so I quoted you both. No need for a re-read here.

Just have to thank our lucky stars we had Holloway at qpr and Jerry Francis at stoke to help us out!!!! As sounds like that's all we could afford... So, "GERRY" Francis has more say over transfer dealings at Stoke than the manager Hughes does? I'm unsure if the permission is now officially granted, or if that is just the recommendation from the case officer. My understanding is that it is now recommended and will go before a Planning Officer for approval instead of a committee Correct, unless any local councillor calls it in to be decided at committee.

Looking at the application though the planning permission is already in place and active, we are just looking to remove the two restrictive conditions from that permission to make it work for us. Thus we can start building the clubhouse and floodlights tomorrow if we wanted. Obviously we aren't going to do this if we aren't allowed to train on the site within school hours!

That Trotter last night with Lines would be good. I thought Trotter was a very good player as well. Trotter was awful. A total donkey of a player who was consistently outplayed by our midfield. Just because he was big and physical, does not make him any good.

Henbury now calling it a sports complex, not stadium. with a Ice Rink next door it could be a Sports Complex.... You want to have a word with your "contacts" Henbury... Cribbs is nowhere near UWE: Proposed Ice RinkFollowed up by the application end of last year: Planning Application PT15/5319/OBut don't let the facts get in the way of your ITK act...

But if you are going to be cutting back on costs, you are going to get the biggest savings in the groundworks and superstructure. The original plans could extend capacity because these elements would be futureproofed and built in at the start. It would still need to be the case for the same flexibility of a reduced capacity stadium, but I fear this will be one of the first things removed if you are stripping costs.
However, a small capacity to start that could be extended up to 21K eventually, wouldn't be the end of the world for where we are now - plenty of clubs in the higher leagues at that capacity. Just means the 35K stadium expansion for when we won the Champions League would bite the dust.

Played at Bristol Golf Club last week. Does the Kendleshire have 18 different holes or is it just a 9 hole course? Cracking fun, but variety is the spice of life.

Worked for me, but try this image instead: I don't own one nor can I find one online anywhere... I never said it would be easy! I'll see if I can source one, but if not, I may let the pink one go as I am sure someone else may get more use and enjoyment from it than me. Don't think my initial plan of it being a valuable item is going to come to fruition for about 50 years!

Does anyone have the pink shirt in small they'd be willing to either give away or sale? I've looked on eBay and googled it a few times and never see any for sale! I do have one - but I am currently using it for leverage to get a shirt like the only I previously posted. Get hold on one of those, and you got a deal!
