Now, on Saturday against Dover, there were two idiots standing in the same place, hurling abuse, spitting at the opposing keeper for the whole of the second half. What did the stewards do, nothing and they were stood right next to them, so the club are doing nothing to stop this? A game on and it's now racism, how can our fans act in such a barbaric manner. I did see one led out, so I presume he was arrested and he should be banned, we don't need this at our club. We will eventually get some sort of punishment if things like this carry on at home and away, points deduction or a fine.

Otoole is an excellent goalscorer (headers, shots from distance, tap-ins ) not sure if Sinclair will ever do that for us !? ... Sinclair would never slag the club or players off just before a big game in a newspaper either. the man is a hand job simples Sinclair as we have all seen gives a 100% for the shirt, The Toole did not.

Is this the same JJOT who was our top scorer and without who's goals we would have been relegated before easter. Fair enough he done himself no favours with what he was reported to have said to the Irish media although he said he was misquoted. He also acted like he was not impressed to be playing for a sh8t side. If we had survived it would have been down to his goals. So we have to stalk him for the rest of his career. If we hadn't signed him we may well have been able to bring in a few players with what he was being paid and maybe they would've scored the goals and maybe just maybe kept us up. Far too overrated, arrogant and not a team player, this sh8t side as you put it is our's and he really couldn't be bothered with it, glad he's gone.

Official overall attendance - 6028. Official away attendance - 278.
Thanks to everyone who entered. Looks like a lot of people underestimated the crowd for this one, the opposite to what happened against Nuneaton! But congratulations to Mark Ash who was the closest with their guess of 6123 being 95 out. cookinongas was the runner up guessing 6135. Both first time guessers this week so well done! Beginners luck?
Maybe not beginners luck as cookinongas was closest to the away attendance of 278 with a guess of 286 being 8 away! gaseous was runner up being 44 out with a guess of 322. Hey, runner up again on away attendance. UTG

On this occasion I have to agree with you. I too like him, he holds the ball up well bringing others in to play, heads well and can score too. All of what harrold was not towards the end. I met him on hospitality and seems like a nice bloke. Hope he signs for us.

If you are a football lover, then yes, especially as other people went from your holiday party. Me, I would definitely go but I'm afraid it would be alone as the missus isn't in to footy. The experience of the nou camp would be tremendous.

I think you may be right. He'd be worth looking at surely. I just feel he may unsettle some of the others tbh. He's not right. Ellington has been on the decline for a long time and has had his chance in the Conference for Southport and failed to score for them and was soon released. Where even is he now?! Quite funny that people are quick to criticise Clarke and then suggest signing a washed up player who appears to be way past his best. Maybe Southport wasn't right for him, playing for the Gas again just could bring the best out of him. If I was to criticise Clarke that would be my opinion but just point out to me WHERE I did that, if I did are you sure that I criticised him first and then suggested to sign a washed up Gas legend as you put or was it around the other way, you tell me.

Still think he could cut it, especially at this level.

I didn't see that, we were watching the bench all night and only until the last 20 mins was Clarke off the bench. Nobody celebrated, not even a clap, very strange.

I noticed that too and also when we scored none of our bench celebrated, which I thought was a little odd.

Took the advice then I see? Any chance you could reply or debate minus the names? I was on about your post which suggests its ok to shout at a player sometimes and depending on how you feel. Which to me is rather bizarre, but not surprising considering the poster. No, I said it is ok to shout at a player who we don't think is putting in the effort but it is not ok to shout at a player full stop or especially before match has started. It depends what you are shouting, if it is negative abuse that would be counter productive, if it is positive and you are encouraging the player to try, he might just play better or try a little harder. For example, come on Ellis keep going or try you lazy b###@#d, which is better, I know. Obviously that is no way aimed at Ellis, just an example.

At Altrincham, some old to55er was calling Brunt a lazy C*** all game. I was actually embarrassed, particularly when Brunt was about 10 yards from the bloke at points during the second half. This is a guy who spent his own money on a training/rehab programme in the USA. Lack of effort is inexcusable but I don't think you can label any of this bunch as lazy. Not good enough maybe, but not lazy. Are they not good enough or is Clarke not getting the best out of them? Negativity will get us nowhere, imagine going into work and having to hear everyone moan when things are not going so well. Be positive, we all know it is hard with what we are going through as gasheads but it must be hell for the players to keep their heads up when all is groaning.

Ok so he hasn't scored in 30+ appearances but we all know he has it in him. Sorry If I had some romantic vision of him starting his career and finishing with us. Anyway, who said he was the answer to our problems! Lol
Not suggesting we should get the Duke back, but how many games has it been since Brunt scored?
Amazing how such a great finisher can get so bad. How do these players not even find a tap in in 30 games?
To be fair brunty has had some bad luck with injuries, but you are right to a certain degree, if your in the right place, a tap in should be achieveable.
