0 goals in 3 years lol and you think he is the answer to our problems!! Ok so he hasn't scored in 30+ appearances but we all know he has it in him. Sorry If I had some romantic vision of him starting his career and finishing with us. Anyway, who said he was the answer to our problems! Lol

How about the Duke, he's a free agent, only 33, still has goals in him. Would love to see him line up for the gas again.

Balanta wooooaaaaoooo Balanta wooooaaaaoooo He is Colombian He's scoring\making* goals for fun *delete appropriate depending on form/position. Obviously to the tune of the old Patrick Vieira song at arsenal. Yeah I like it, very good.

John Still won 7 of his first 20 in charge of Luton, and yet he is perceived as the messiah. I have to say these things take time, the team have shown they have the ability in brief spells (1st half against Forest Green, last 10 against Halifax, 10 minutes or so against Telford) but it's all about mentality and consistency at this moment in time. As long as we are comfortable and start picking up a few more results, I'm willing to give DC a fair bit of time to make mistakes - after all he is relatively inexperienced at this level and at least has the right intentions. Once promoted with Salisbury it took him 12 months to adapt to Conference South, maybe that is the case with the Conference. Might be an unpopular view that, but when you've been in freefall since the turn of the decade I think it's maybe time to consider that we need to start building. Yes there will be errors along the way, and it may take time for the team to adapt to Conference life and playing sides like Braintree and Altrincham, but they will be better for it in the long run. I agree, we just don't have a winning mentality within our club and haven't for a very long time. That will not come over night, I believe we have to be patient, it is very hard to say but very true, we can't expect to turn up and beat these teams, they might be part time but they do have a very good home record. It is a very sad decline.

I thought he played well today, held the ball up and made some good runs, actually taking a player on, running past and getting a cross in. Keep going Ellis, great to see it.

At last we looked like a half decent team with some shape, I much prefer 4-4-2 and the players look more comfortable with that system. Our back four was solid, Parkes had a better game than Sat, his distribution was a little better and won most in the air, Trots was good again. I thought Mansell and Clarke had a good game and Taylor up top ran his socks off and will only get better, good to see Ellis get some game time, his pace will cause problems in this league. Danny coles pulled our forwards about and at times put his finger in Ellis's face, typical colesy. Bring on Halifax

It's going to be tough, the have won 3 out of 4 played, our backline will have to be on thier toes, Hughes is will be a danger, scored 3 goals already, kamdjo too. I'll go for a draw, 2-2, Taylor to score first and White to come on and save us.
