At the end of the game whilst we were all clapping the players off in what was the best (2nd half) performance the season, what looked like a father and son pushed past a fan and said for him to get out of the way (well in other words) and when the fan took exception to being pushed and swore at, it got a little heated with a bit of pushing and shoving, it all came to nothing but why do people have to act in this manner, the fan had done nothing wrong. The fan is a regular and so is the father and son but what if the fan was a new fan coming to his first game, what about that confrontation would encourage him to come back? Certainly not being pushed or swore at and what if he had brought his young child with him, just another example of bad behaviour from some of our so called supporters. It slightly tainted what was a fantastic win.

Goal machine Taylor A lucky looping header just managed to go in. Another simpler to score than miss one on one chance blown. And countless mis controlled balls to his feet and inaccurate passing by the awful striker. It actually came off the defender's head after Taylor to go in, but it was still a good goal. Blissett only scored one with countless mis controlled balls and also woeful shooting. If they scored with every attempt they would be playing at a higher level.

I didn't think we would be where we are at this point of the season, more like mid table but credit where credit is due DC has assembled a good squad who play with effort and passion for our club, to give us some pride back. Hats off to him for that. Even if he doesn't get us up at the first attempt, he will at the next, he is by far the best manager we have had since trolls. Need to get behind him and the team though.

Assuming they keep akinde, and they don't need the cash, I think a "9 point" slip is unlikely but let's keep the pressure on as that is now all we can actually do Now, lets get this into perspective, man u, man c and Chelsea have all dropped pts on the run in to the premier league, so I'm quite sure barnet will too. I know I'm going to get shot down as we aren't in the premier and the difference in quality is so far apart but I can't see them winning every game, but I can see us being stronger as the season progresses and I believe we are perfectly placed to pip them to the post if they do slip up, there will be more twists and turns to come. One thing though, when it's half time, don't boo them off when it's not quite happening, GET BEHIND THEM. UTG

Well that ref wouldn't have seen much, he didn't really keep up with play, is it just me or was he struggling with the game, physically and also mentally. I do know we've had him recently and he wasn't good then either, come to think of it, we've probably only had one decent ref this season at the mem.

Great win but I thought the ref made some shocking decisions, especially when mcchrystal was out of it on floor, what was he thinking not letting kitey on to assess his injury, bad decision as it could've been serious. He just angered the crowd even more after with bad decisions. UTG

Well because I would. It would show him what it means to a PROFESSIONAL footballer to play football and give everything every game. Nah I agreed with the first half of your post mate, I just feel that as bad as his attitude was John-Joe remains a class above anything we have at the club in terms of technical ability (haven't yet seen LDV) unfortunately. Much as I love Sinclair's attitude I'm not sure he'd look all that much up against JJ in league two. I disagree, JJ only played well when on loan with us, when we signed the 'one and only' he was rubbish after that, yes he was top scorer in what was a poor side, that aside he himself was very poor all round, Sinclair any day

10 in 61? - but 24 appearances were from the bench. I'd just like to note that big Nath scored for us on his DEBUT, don't see that many times in a Rovers shirt recently. Maybe he will be good for us, he's certainly the type of striker weve been crying out for.

I agree Socrates, we should get behind the team, sing in the good times, shout them along in the bad and less of the negativity. It's no good sacking him, who are we going to get to take on the poisoned chalice, another Mcgoo, no thanks, DC for me, at least he's listened and brought in the striker's we desperately needed, good shout by him and Blissett scored on his debut, how many times has that happened with our strikers in their first game. No doubt someone will tell me. I believe we are well positioned at this stage in the season, hopefully we can stay here and pick up a few points on the leader's and nip 'em to the post with a few games to go, I'd take that. UTG

Sorry to see Jamie go, shame it didn't work out for him but he really didn't have much opportunities for whatever reason, I guess his fitness was a reason, odd though that DC gave him a start on Sat, only to sub him at half time and then he leaves a couple of days later. Anyway all the best Jamie, I bet you go from us and start banging the goals in.

My condolences tbone to you and your family, I too lost a very close family member at the same age to this devastating disease, earlier on this year, so I know what you all are going through, believe me it does get easier but even now I do find it hard to understand why, just try to keep smiling.

Fan. Origin fanatic noun 1. a person with an extreme and uncritical enthusiasm or zeal Good addition to this very interesting debate, perhaps some fans should take note of the above description and GET BEHIND THE TEAM

I think we should name and shame these morons. I'm sure they actually consider themselves to be gasheads but they need to know that if they continue to behave like that they are not welcome amongst us. What on earth do they think that they are contributing to the cause by continually criticizing and undermining the staff and players. I agree with you BTG, they are not helping the cause, all gasheads are saying we need a striker, maybe we can't get players in because they know all about the grief some of our so called fans are giving them. How much of a detrimental effect is it having on the players we already have, it can't be motivating, can it, hearing the your effing useless or your not trying hard enough. We have to get behind the team in good and especially bad times, the club needs all of us right now, stop whinging and start singing. UTG
