To the Adams family tune Your sister is your mother, Your father is your brother, You all f**k one another, The city family Don't Ipswich sing that about Norwich? East Fife definitely sing it about Cowdenbeath.

Oh dear, near consensus probably upsets a lot of those who like to come on forums for a bit of what I'm sure they'd describe as 'banter' but I have to agree with the OP, I too would probably get rid of all of the front line, maybe keep Harrison (tin hat on) but we need two or three proven scorers at this level, maybe Tom Pope, currently at Bury, surely we could tempt him?

To be fair, if we hadn't scored for our opponents in each of our last two games we would have won both, in fact we have only conceded one goal actually scored by our opponents in the whole of February, we just need to score a few more lol.

I know we are all enjoying city struggling and our amazing revival in recent times but one sobering fact is that we havnt been good enough to play them in a league match for nearly 16 years! Im in a minority on here in being fed up we didnt show more ambition in january and instead of pushing hard for promotion and championship football we are mostly relying on them to get relegated so we can actually compete in the same league again. I know we have overachieved but just believe a big push was there for the asking while this team are still together and stuff whether they stay up or go down. I dont buy into this "the club arnt ready for championship" rubbish. OK then. Lets put you on the spot. Please explain what the club should have done in January that would have made Championship football likely. which players should we have bought? what sort of money would we have had to pay for them? What size salary should we have offered if said players were available at any cost to entice them to move? please explain how the club could be made "Championship ready" between now and the start of next season. I may be in a minority here but I think the best way for this club to evolve is to remain in league 1 for at least another season, at least until we know a new stadium is coming. We need to walk before we can run. In any case I firmly believe league 1 is at least the equal of the old Division 2. This is as a result of all the foreign exotica in the Prem pushing quality players further down the leagues. I think the general quality of the football we see each week tends to support my theory. Whilst I agree with you in principle, if, and I know it's a big if, we did end up in the playoffs then we should try and take the opportunity by the nuts because I do think you have take it when it arises. We missed out under Holloway and nearly 20 years later we've never even been close again.

Sh1!heads 3to 1 detest Lansdown and his Bristol Sport franchises it appears I'd be gutted if rovers went that way if I'm honest so I do understand this The whole thing is so cringeworthy I'm not surprised they can't stomach it I remember a few weeks back, on one of my occasional visits to the comedy gold that is OTIB, that someone suggested Lansdown should go. The vitriol aimed at the poster was febrile, whilst one or two said the understood where he was coming from, the vast majority still think the sun shines from his every orifice and were basically willing to bend over and take whatever Lansdown wants to give them. Obviously things change quickly in football and the continuing run of defeats may well have shaken some of them out of their complacency, but I think the majority just dislike the whole Bristol Sport thing rather than Lansdown, or more properly they realise that without his money they are well and truly screwwwwwed

Lets just be careful here, the odd laugh is fine but we all know what a fickle mistress the footballing fates can be.
For me, Rovers have always been older and wiser - apart and above of all the boastfulness and braggardly behaviour of our noisy neighbour, and nodding sagely when all comes home to roost.
There's no need to scream 'I told you so' in thier faces, let them be and they'll realise it themselves, in time. Nope F##k em screw it into em every opportunity And we're back to little Lee getting it in the bottom..

Spoke to a Vale fan afterwards and he said that the Police and stewards are always heavy handed there even on a Tuesday night with only 3000 there the Police presence is still the same. Apparently their fans can be a bit naughty (his words). He was with his little girl who asked him as I was from the other side why was he talking to me and was I going to hit her and her dad. I was really taken aback that a little girl who must have been 5 or 6 would react like that.

My first game of the season, in my defence I do live in Edinburgh. it is difficult to gauge not having been at a previous game and with Partington having to go off so early, but having to put Sinclair out on the right seem to completely bugger us up. It meant Lines and Bodin had to do more of the hard graft so they couldn't be as creative and it meant no width on the right as Sinclair just came inside every time he go the ball and looked like he lacked the confidence to overlap when the situation was screaming for it. That said Vale were poor and we should have had enough to win the game. We really do not have enough quality up top to maintain our present position.

Anyone see the flaw in this plan? Yep. The rosy faced lady garden would suck off a goat to get one over on us. And has done, he quite likes it, in fact he'd probably pay for it, like he pays for everything else.

I bought five tickets on the day, with cash, definitely more there than given out. But hats off to a little tax dodge👏 Yeah same here, loads in the queue as well, same everywhere though, there have been plenty of times I've been at a game and the attendance has been announced and I've thought really? But in the lower leagues money is tight and gate receipts make up the bulk of income unlike in the Premiershite.

I think I probably would accept that as well, currently im not confident I will ever see us in the top flight in my lifetime. Football does change quickly though, how many remember chucking change into Bournemouth's collections buckets at Dean court in the last decade?
Yes, absolutely correct. They didn't have a pot to **** in. Then they got everyone to buy a season ticket early for under a hundred just to get some income. It was a bargain! The rest is history as they say! UTG! Or a pot in which to p*ss even. Don't they have quite a rich Russian owner now though? It's funny how all these 'little' teams who have made it against adversary actually have quite a bit of cash behind them.

I reckon we will probably end up with between 5 and 7 points from the six games, there's a chance we'll be unbeaten the whole month which would be a good achievement but only get 6 points, probably a bit of a disappointment.

Last three games have played 3 of the top 6, unbeaten with 3 clean sheets, that is actually pretty decent in my book.

There was not 4k there but did see a free incidents in Park after i was chatting to my mate Saturday and he said there was about 1500 I said hopefully we're take that again Yeah I was there too and 1500 seems about right cos their away end is pretty big. I think they were a bit taken aback by the numbers as they only had a couple of turnstiles open to begin with. Remember the Police being right arses afterwards, took us ages to get out, seemed to think that anyone no wearing a Rovers shirt was looking for trouble, problem was that about half of us weren't wearing Rovers shirts. Maybe they just weren't used to such big away support so assumed we were looking for a strimache.

Which muppet at the FA decided to have a full fixture list on Valentines Day!!!? Could've played on Weds!!! The clubs could have moved it if they had wished. But obviously, our Northern cousins don't believe in Valentines as they are coming here instead. Watch the divorce rate up there next week. No, our northern cousins just know how to treat their women, 'I'm going t'football, ere's a black pudding and a mop, 'appy Valentine's'
