Chelsea are also in the EFL Trophy so would there be 4k+ Gasheads wanting to watch them instead of Reading if they were in our draw?
I'm just trying to find where people draw the line.

..... between playing Chelsea reserves/academy in the EFL Cup which 4k+ fans want to attend and playing Reading reserves/academy in the EFL trophy which people say they want to boycott?
Just asking.

Yes, tickets for hospitality are available ranging from £150 to £395, PLUS VAT Yeah, I got the bronze package. Fortunately there is a complimentary bar! Enjoy it.
I would have taken up the hospitality but this season it will be just Sheff Utd, Bolton and Coventry as they are the only grounds I have not visited.

I spoke to Dave Sams, the club secretary, before todays game and he confirmed that Chelsea only offered us 4k tickets and we had no say in the matter.
He also indicated that we will not receive any more.
Just passing on the info. So we didnt turn down 6000 tickets then. As with most "rumours" on here, it was not true.
It's always best to ask someone, within the club for the true facts.

It would appear from this article on the Chelsea website that there will be no increase in 4,000 tickets already allocated to us, as 1,000 Shed End tickets are allocated for Chelsea supporters
Ticket Allocation
We had less than 4,000 fans who gave an eff about the League Cup for a game on their doorstep last Thursday. 4,000 should therefore be plenty enough for a game in the same competition more than 100 miles away. But what about the 40k true loyal Gasheads who went to Wembley?

Totally agree that priority should of been given to those who attended Thursday , someone on here came up with a good suggestion , keep hold of your ticket from Thursday and that acts as a priority voucher for the Chelsea game. When the club sorts out its database / ticketing arrangements I suspect / hope we'll have a points system like many other clubs. My best mate is a Canary and they use it. You get points for going to games (H & A) and the points help you get scarce tickets when needed. seems to be work well. I guess the only slight hitch is that after a while it's a bit of a Catch 22 situation as to get tkts you need to go to games and to go to games you need tkts. There are some supporters who go to away games and buy direct from the away club as they cannot stand up for the whole game because Gasheads will not sit in their seats.
I want to go to a game and SIT DOWN because I am no longer able to stand up to watch.

Final train returning to Bristol departs Paddington at 23.30 which will be a bit of a struggle if like last night, it goes to penalties and Chelsea have a habit of arranging the KO for 20.00
Current cost is £24 return for a senior citizen.
It would be great if BRFC could hire a train but I fear that it is now to close to the date to arrange this. Didnt realise last nights match went to penalties. You must have missed them or was that Wembley I am thinking of.

I have called Service Centres and had three options.
You chose one of these and then are presented with three options, you chose one of these and then are offered three options etc etc.
The main reason for this is to get to the correct person but as we have so few admin staff I'm sure there are times when the same person will answer.
Having said all that, the service I ALWAYS receive from Clare, Kay, etc is first class.
To sum up, there is no simple answer to your point.

The last four home FLC1 games have attracted a crowd of:-
2015/16 - 5,650 - Birmingham 2013/14 - 4,875 - Watford 2011/12 - 4,432 - Watford 2009/10 - 3,644 - Aldershot
So 5k for an all ticket game on Sky is a pretty good crowd.

If Wael were to insist on buying midfielders to a successful manager might mean looking for a new manager in a couple of weeks time! I know what you mean though, midfield is our weakest area. It's boring, I know, but we have to leave it to DC to do what he does UTG! Yeh players recruitment via the owners, that works out great normally.Fortuneately for us our owner trusts DC and we do have the input of that Will whasisname as well. Would have gone to Leeds if he wanted to work under a puppet master. It worked for Sir Geoffrey - Tillson

What it looks like then is that we've swapped one group of people who we owed money to for another group of people! Until i see evidence of actual investment being made by the new board i will be unconvinced. Do Dwayne sports now own the mem site? Are they accruing further debt by paying non football related salaries thus eroding the equity in the mem? Did the money higgs and co received also get parked here as debt? Who knows, we are taking everything o n faith at the moment. Which is no different than it's ever been at Rovers? NH ran up £10m+ of debts and finished up taking out a wonga loan to keep the club afloat I can't recall he gave a blow by blow account over what he was doing. Certain posters will try and convince fans Wael's simply transferred all the debts/loans to Dwane Sports and he's earning a nice rate of interest but none of us really know what's going on, as I said earlier would the Al-Q's really get involved in Rovers just make a million or two, or do they really want to make us a force in the footballing world? If they were just in it for a quick return wouldn't they have taken the £250K offered for DC's services and also let MT leave rather than make him one of our highest paid players? I also can't see the Al-Q's will want a poorly run debt ridden business on their CV's/books that doesn't seem their style, although you sense a few posters find that hard to believe! I and I believe no-one else is saying/hinting/suggesting Wael is "earning a nice rate of interest" IF the loan is held by Dwayne Sports.
As has been said, if any interest is involved, then it is probably being accrued until paid off much like the previous owners. The main difference as far as I can see is that the previous owners were going to be hard pressed to clear the old MSP loan whereas the new owners appear to have the "resources" to cover it. If The Mem is worth £10+m then at the moment there is no problem.
With regard to financing UWE, are the original "consortium" still interested in providing part of the finance?

How do you know for certain the wonga loan hasn't been paid off and is still on the books? As far as the consultants are concerned as they are acting for Rovers I can't see it's an issue if they are paid by the club, after all NH wasted millions in legal costs pursuing Sainsbury's! Didn't someone post up all the ltd details from companies house, about a month after the takeover showing all the debts settled? Almost all of the due diligence undertaken by the Al-Qadis must have been centred on clearing all the debt. Yes, I posted details from Companies House confirming all the debts on the Memorial Stadium have been cleared, for which I am eternally grateful.
However, as a Shareholder in BRFC I would like confirmation of where that debt now resides and if BRFC have to repay that by reducing the price received when The Mem is sold. Also, is that debt increasing with interest?
I still have 99.9% faith in Wael and am certain that he has the best interest of BRFC at heart.
I'd just like to clear up one or two points regarding the finances of BRFC and not be surprised in the future that things are not quite as they appeared.

Just one problem.
Dwayne Sports is registered in Jersey and could well be a "private company". If that is the case, the accounts will not be available to anyone other than the Shareholders and I must assume the Shareholders are the Al-Qadi family. I certainly cannot buy shares in Dwayne Sports, so will have no access to any accounts.
Wrong, the accounts have already been published for 2016 and can be downloaded for £4, although I doubt they show a lot for this year though. www.jerseyfsc.org/registry/documentsearch/NameDetail.aspx?Id=306465Thanks for confirming that Dwayne Sports are a Private Company, I do not have the time to confirm that but is was obviously the case. I lived in Jersey for 5 years and am well aware of why companies are set up in the Channel Islands. There is nothing wrong in it, but at the moment I fail to understand the reason for doing so.
I have spoken to a lot of Gasheads and the majority of them believe that the MSP loan has been paid off and BRFC are no longer expected to clear it. The £3+m has not disappeared it is just residing in a different companies accounts. I will be asking a question at BRFC's next AGM as to whether we are paying any fees/interest etc on that money?
I also expect that the "consultants" are on the books of Dwayne Sports and I'd love to know if this also involves any fees etc to BRFC.

This statement is factually correct.
The debt is no longer on the books of BRFC and the club do not have to disclose where it has disappeared at the next AGM.
I would guess it is on the books of Dwayne Sports and will be cleared after the sale of The Mem.
It most certainly has not disappeared.
The accounts of BRFC and Dwayne Sports should give us a clue. I suspect the debt and the stadium is held by the latter. It's better to have "internal" debt obviously as the owners decide if and when it's repaid. Also, it is possible that the previous debt has disappeared as Wael's investment may have been capitalised. Just one problem.
