That is an OTIB phrase if ever there is one. Get over yourself and reveal your true allegiance..... Either that or stop f*in moaning -we've just had back to back promotions and the debt wiped out for god's sake. The debt has gone, but maybe wait for the latest accounts to be published to find out exactly where it has gone. This statement is factually correct.
The debt is no longer on the books of BRFC and the club do not have to disclose where it has disappeared at the next AGM.
I would guess it is on the books of Dwayne Sports and will be cleared after the sale of The Mem.
It most certainly has not disappeared.

It appears that we are not the only football team that have switched suppliers and are having problems getting their kit for the first game. Kit

YATE TOWN have joined with Bristol Rovers to bring their League One club’s Under-18 academy matches to Lodge Road.
Yate Town Is there a likelihood that there will be more joint ventures? Training ground?

I'll stay in Weston-Super-Mare where it is warm and sunny and the Beer and Cider festival is across the road from me.
Perfect entertainment and no entry charge.
PS - the tide is out but the donkeys are here, yes eleven of them.

I can't see what's in this for Rovers if it's only for away games, they have to set up a scheme but then make virtually no money out of it as most of the ticket sales income goes to the away team? The club keeps 10% of all receipts from selling away tickets on behalf of the opposition to recompense the additional admin.

Was it really, I can't see many fans finding £40+ to buy a new shirt just because the club dragged it out over a month, it's hardly like the build up to a new iPhone etc being released. Plus if your going to go down this marketing path don't you want to make sure you can deliver the product on Day 1? Have they ever announced this date ? According to ITK's within the club, the only promise made by Macron was that the kit would be available by the first game of the season.
I never got to the bottom of "did that promise include the kit for supporters to purchase?"

I think Gasheads are capable of making up their own minds, without the need for a few internet warriors, as to whether they will attend any type of game involving BRFC. If you do not want to go, fine. The majority of Gasheads will make up their own minds. Obviously, but if there's a vague feeling of, 'don't go to the Reading game,' even if it's just on the internet, then people who might want to show their displeasure at the new format might want to buy into that. But, you know, well done for saying 'internet warrior;' that's always class.
Anyone who has the time to send 3K+ messages and I am not referring to you, needs to get out and breath the fresh air.
There is more to life than any football club.

Thanks for that. That makes the full kit more or less the same price as 2 seasons ago. The more you buy, the more you save! It's a good gesture by the club just a pity some of us have to work so can't make the Open Day. I did not realise you worked as you appear to be on here most of the working day.

Agree re the South Stand. The article clearly said it would have new roofing and flooring. Nothing was said about the standard of the SW Stand though. perhaps it wasn't allowed as a result of the safety meeting, don't know why the club announced it before the meeting. It's not a huge problem as we will hopefully be in a new stadium within the next three years, it would be nice for the club to issue some clarification on what improvements actually did occur. I think we may struggle with that time scale.

Reading, us, Portsmouth and Yeovil What a sh*t draw I did not commit to going or otherwise before the draw.
But, I will not be bothering to go to any of the home games and certainly not the away games with those opponents.

So it's Chelsea, Swansea, West Ham or Reading in our section of the draw.

Good the see the Chairman on the lash with the fans in Spain. I think the Gas is really getting under Wael's skin - which is good for BRFC long term. I can't remember seeing a chairman for any team socialising with the fans the way Wael does. Can you image NH being carried down the Gloucester Road.... .... .... would take a few very strong fans! The Chairman is Steve Hamer, the President is Wael.
Who are you describing as "on the lash with the fans"?

Has he Steve? Could he prove to the UWE legal advisors that he can deposit £30m (or whatever the build & buy cost is) in an account that can be used solely for building a stadium at UWE? Perhaps he can, perhaps he can't I don't know but if you know he can perhaps you could share you're evidence. Well he cleared the clubs debts and bought the club easy enough. He has brought in experts on acquisition and on building stadiums, that won't be working for free. His family's company was part of a group that bought out HSBC banks in Jordan for £1.2 billion, they have bought other companies so they have experience in finding investment. So I think it's safe to assume they can find investment for Uwe, if they couldn't, they wouldn't have bought us. I would image that all that money is on Dwayne Sports books, not BRFC.
I would hazard a guess that all those debts will be cleared with the proceeds of the sale of The Mem.

The man is already a legend and very easy to trust, his Chairman is a different kettle of fish. He is just the "mouth piece".
