I work at Aldi, people are morons. At first we limited stuff to 4 per customer, I personally put up over 60 signs in our small shop and customers still chose to ignore them. They would get angry when the additional items were confiscated and then angry at me when I came down to the tills to explain. They would ask staff on the shop floor about the limits, then choose to ignore the signs and the staff and try their luck at the tills anyway! In return creating more work when we're already rushed off our feet. We've limited toilet rolls to 1 per household, 2 of other stuff etc yet people are still being selfish and wanting more. We've caught people doing a shop, loading it into their car and coming back in to do another - and kicked them out. We've caught couples splitting up to go onto different tills to try and trick the system - and restricted them to just one of them being served. The people who are coming in and respecting the limits and rules in place are those who need it most! Had an NHS nurse come in after a long shift and she had seen the signs and everything was fine except she picked up one extra pack of pasta(was a mixed case so easy mistake), I let her have it because she needs it. People are queuing at 6:30 and we dont even open until 8. We were talking about removing the trolleys but unfortunately you do have people, such as emergency workers, the elderly etc who do not get as much time to shop, can't always make the hours that stores are open specifically for them and who need more than a basket to shop. People just need to step back, food will be on the shelf. Our stock levels are ridiculous we are ordering 3x as much every day people just need to calm down, take a step back and not panic. What Aldi do you work at ? Used to work at the North St one but I work and live in Reading now

Are we not the most selfish moronic nation on the planet, the current panic buying disgusts me ,the Italians are not behaving like this, its appalling. Solution get the Army out now and ration the number of items that can be purchased. I am embarrassed and ashamed to live here. Could this be easily stopped, by removing all the trolleys and only allow baskets? How many baskets of stuff can you carry? 1 is a pain, 2 is almost impossible, if you load the baskets, and have 1 in each hand, it becomes a nause to put the baskets down to pick something else off the shelves. Struggling to do the basic things. Probably looks decent from a perspective of someone who doesn’t play but the Sarfend geeza sat deep and let our man attack and our man pulled our defenders out of position far too often. Theirs is a pro player so it can’t be faulted but he hasn’t even got out second gear. IMO pro players shouldn’t have been allowed Yes, I have never played it or seen it before. So for my untrained eye I just couldn't understand the use of width when they were easily clearing our crosses. Southend just seemed to keep more control and created clearer chances. So if the southend player is a pro, could we have lost to the eventual champions? Possibly but not likely. There are far better pros playing for other teams

Anyone know a lot about this?
I’m now classed as a key worker(supermarkets yay!) but 111 have advised me to self isolate for 7 days which I will be doing.
When I speak to my direct leader though I want to make sure I know everything regarding pay, as to make sure I’m not losing too much money.
With my company I get two weeks full pay whilst sick. But that’s if I provide a doctors note.
What is this 80% pay? I’m only on a 35 hour contract but I haven’t worked less than 40 in over a year, have done 55+ the last 4 weeks or so and probably 45+ for the last 3 months at the least. Will it work out as 80% of my contracted hours? Are my company required to contribute the extra 20%?

Few teams backed out as it’s now being sponsored by the sun.
Unfortunately some of the teams have pro players playing for them, some, like us, essentially just randomly picked a fan.

What did he say exactly?
Wouldn't be unusual for this place to take something wayyyyy out of context.

Darrell Clarke was never taking us down and had we stayed with him we would never had to endure this horrid time

Honestly? Pretty much any respectable manager. I'd love to give it to Warnock until the summer - let him get his 1,500 games etc. Realistically I think Tisdale comes in. Is Warnock a realistic target though? Way out of our league IMO. Whilst Tisdale is very realistic I don’t think he’d be the right man tbh

Who else?
I really wanted it to work for the guy but it hasn’t and IMO enough is enough and it’s time to go.
Realistically though who can we get in that will improve us on where GC left us? Let’s not say where BG left us because it’s been horrific unfortunately.
Surely it’ll have to be someone unattached.

Our best hope was to keep a clean sheet and try and go for a 0-0. No chance now of getting anything. Even our best players coming back from injury are now making the mistakes! Anyone who goes to struggling Southend with the mindset that our best change is to settle for a 0-0 is a
