How many times have we seen this. We have a great following and the players let us down. After a good performance on Wednesday we have the worse performance of the season. Fill sorry for the 3100 gasheads at pride park.

Of course you can stand where you want. Numbers on tickets is to show how many been sold for that terrace.

Not read all 6 pages on this subject but I want to add my comments. If I was involved in either the premiership and EFL, with all information regarding the high temperatures over the next few days, then all premiership and EFL games should be postponed. This would be a health and safety issue to protect both players and supporters, but mainly the players who in all onnesty should not be running about in such high temperatures. How would the authorities feel if any player collapses with heat exhaustion?
Postpone all fixture today!s

There is absolutely no reason for this game to be moved to 12:30. Will they move other games to 12:30 where large support will come to the Mem. A&S police don’t know what they doing. Kick off should stay same time of 3pm.

Why on earth does muller road need a bus lans? The road is far to narrow for such a thing. Typical Bristol city council. There no need for this massive disruption.

After reading Sam Frost this morning, I think that the football club is being very arrogant in forcing people to bring no cash to the Mem. They should give people time to get use to this. Forcing us all to be cashless is wrong and very arrogant as said before. Be very surprised if initially the club refuses cash being offered. A month down the line, expect the cashless regime to start IMHO. No. Club should give longer for those elderly who don’t trust cashless. And what happens if system to slow and queues start forming close to kick off? I foresee problems and the club will have to back down.

Another reason for us desperately needing a new ground. Ridiculous situation to be in, sell out in areas and have to start moving fans to opposite end of the pitch. The Mem is too small for us and is now holding us back with momentum gained from Promotion. We have a wave of positivity after DCs back to back promotion that we didn't capitalise on, surely we aren't going to make same mistake. This question need to be answered or read as statement. Who outside of Bristol Rovers FC really wants us to have a new stadium? Are there any investors out there willing to help our football club? Weal can’t do everything on his own. Without any financial backing, I really fear for the future of our club the longer we remain at the Mem.

This is why a new modern stadium is needed now I’ve said this before so I’ll say again. The present condition of the Mem is holding back the progress of BRFC. We need get out ASAP.

Have read most of comments in this so I will say what I said some weeks ago. The current state of the Mem is holding back the development of Bristol Rovers FC. The longer we stay at the Mem that the longer we stay as a nowhere to go football club. We urgently need a bigger stadium. God help us if we ever get into the championship. If we do…..what are the options?

I think all programme sellers should still take cash. I don’t believe in organisations forcing things onto you. Stay with the cash as is easier and quicker. Love live cash.

Maybe someone can post the link. A good review of the season about all things catering from the catering Manager. At last a marquee for the away fans selling beer etc. Also a new pie/ pasty supplier. Great insight into the players catering at the Quarters Well done to all concerned. Just looked at story on this. Gasheads bought 76,000 pints of beer/lager/cider last season. With 23 games, that equates to 3,300 pints per game. Gasheads do like their drink.

I am starting to come round to this, although would prefer a complete rebuild. If we a) moved the pitch towards the thatchers I'm sure we could construct a permanent 2500 capacity stand at the south end split between home and away fans. Complete rebuild of east side with new 7-8000 capacity stand with bars boxes etc. This would push the capacity into the 15-16 area Agree 100% with this.
Also, don't forget you could build a new stand behind the North Terrace as well (incorporating the bar) as well.
There is scope to build decent stands on the North, East and South sides.
I would probably build a permanent all seater South Stand first (after moving the pitch), then replace the East stand & terraces with a full length all seater stand.
Last would be the North Terrace. Build a big stand with safe standing towards the bottom.
In an ideal world, you would finally build a full length West stand.
For the most capacity, you would need to lose the car park and rotate the pitch and use the whole Mem site. An 18.5K all seater capacity design exists for the Mem site.
I like the ideal of this, but I would go a little further if we were to remain at the Mem. What I would do is demolish the East/Centenary Stand and rebuild the whole length of the terrace. This would add more seats and add to the capacity. The East stand in its present state was badly build when Bristol Rugby were at the Mem. As with the West Stand, when the old wooden stand was demolished, under planning rules set by Bristol City Council, the new stand had to be the same size as the old stand due to complaints from the residents of Strathmore Road whos gardens at at the back of the West Stand. so, this is my thoughts.

I’ve dont really get this…you get a club promoted and then decide to leave? Why? Where’s the loyalty to the club and players? Olus, is Rob Edward’s the man to attempt to get Watford back in the premiership?

The Bristol Post are saying the last time we scored 7 goals at home was in 1964. But I remember us beating Bradford City 7-1 in 1972, and we signed Bruce Bannister from Bradford a couple on months later. Who wants to confirm this?
