Both Cogs and DC will be given time IMO. DC had a complete rebuild to do at Walsall following relegation. Cogs has gone in mid-season and having looked at the squad, it isn’t that good to be top half L2. BG needs a couple of wins soon. If not, he could be the first to go. So other teams have to give their managers time, but we have to do the opposite! It literally sums our supporters up at the moment! Can’t keep having managerial merry-go-rounds! Loads wanted DC gone when we got relegated, then again in the conference, then would happily suck him off for the next 2yrs! Beyond fickle it’s unreal! For a lot, you got what you wanted! GC out and a new manager in! BG needs time to bed in his philosophy, he’s signed a handful of new players who need to be worked into his system and we still have some deadwood that needs to go.

The ones I miss... I hear the sound of distant bums.... Sandy, Sandy Allan, Sandy Allan is our King I was born under a Tote End bar Put John Galley on the top of a Christmas Tree (we sang songs about the Teds way back in the 60s) Doing the Tote End boot walk (this appears from time to time still!) We hate Aston Villa...... Oh Brucie Brucie.... You're going to get you f.... head kicked in Showing my age but we did have a much larger repertoire of songs back then. Back in the day, did you give more than one redition of a chant at roughly 100mph before fizzing out into silence? The talk of the Mem being loud and hostile is absolute bollocks, the north terrace is horrendous for chants now! When you watch teams on the tv (I get there are more fans etc), but they seem to sing throughout, or at least, do a specific chant more than once! If the north stand wanted to create atmosphere, keep it going, then the rest of the ground gets involved and it sounds pretty decent! The only time we seem to make noise now, is if someone does a bad tackle or the ref gives a particularly bad decision that wakes us from our slumber.

We’re there any arrests last night? Or are you actually saying that there was more trouble between Liverpool and Spurs than last night? One article I just read, stated that the police are adopting a stand off corse of action as to not rile fans, but when they have too, they’ll go in and clear/disperse the fans in the hope that it calms them down. Which worked, the videos being shown online are of course a small minority, but the police did their job, and England fans returned to that area once it calmed down. One thing we’re very good at in this country is blasting our own and letting a few idiots spoil it for the rest! A hundred or so don’t count for the 20,000 or so that are there! It's quite simple really, from 150,000 travelling fans, there was little to no trouble and around 5 arrested. You're not seriously suggesting that there hasn't been trouble in Portugal ? Nope, because I’ve seen the videos. Like I saw the videos of the Liverpool fans trying to give it the big one to the Spanish police, until they got a whack.

Liverpool and Spurs took around 150,000 between them to Madrid with a handful of arrests. What is it about England away that brings out these morons ? We’re there any arrests last night? I’m watching it at the Mem, got an end of season presentation, just hope it’s better than last year with the World Cup! The buffering on a bbc game was shocking!

Because he is being played wide you say? He has not showed up when he has played centre-mid,attacking centre-mid,wide left or wide right. Cant tackle to save his life, fails to get his head up and pick a pass, most of his set pieces including his god awful over hit corners have been useless. For me he was great last season but a passenger this season, not good enough to play in a centre midfield 2 and even when dc played him in a 3 he was pi** poor. Massive let down and his career is in serious decline imo. The team have been very poor but that in itself is not a good enough reason for not turning up for a whole season. This aged well 😂

Development Squad goalkeeper Alexis Andre-Jr has today joined Yate Town on a month-long loan.
Yate play their football in the Evo-Stik South and are on course for promotion, currently sitting 2nd in the league, just a point off top and with a game in hand.
They host AFC Totton this Saturday and the 21-year old stopper will be available for selection.
Alexis has been a part of the Development Squad since August 2017 and will be known most fondly by Rovers fans for his sole senior substitute appearance against Walsall September 2017, following Sam Slocombe's sending off.
Everyone at the club wishes Alexis all the best during his time away from the club.

Which is basically the same price as a hospitality table for any game. Lot of money though for the average joe to find. On the plus side if you look any good in the warm up you get to replace Nichols on the bench. You spelt Bennett wrong ;-)

Yes, I think it would be very interesting for people to see what it's like at a football club that is struggling financially, and how different life is for players in the lower leagues. Maybe BSS could pitch it to Sky! Maybe more Netflix/Prime as BT and Sky are now Offensive! They wouldn’t want their billions tarnished! I laughed at Kompany when he said their old facilities only had one boxing glove and no doors on the toilets! I mean, pull the other one FFS! At least you had a toilet and a glove 😂

After watching the Man City and Sunderland behind the scenes documentaries, if given the chance, would you like to see something similar at Rovers?
I think it would be interesting to see what a football team has to go through that have proper shoe string budgets, no state of the art training, physio, even match facilities.
Especially when we still get top support (relative) home and away.
Even Sunderland had an easy ride really, top facilities etc, I’d like to know what goes on behind the scenes at a team like Rovers (I know some on here will put a smirky comment of ‘nothing’, but you know what I mean).
Be good to see what the players are doing in their downtime, training etc. Can even see who the actual bell’s are (in Sunderland’s case, Gibson and Rodwell).

Will it be locked down from remote controllers (babe station)? If not we could see a rise in - - - crowds! There are enough tits and twats on the pitch at the moment And in the crowd!

Doesn't appear we have a great record against Barnet at their place, however, they have lost back to back home games.

Now...This thread could be very short lived, however...with our current form, would you like to see us go on a run, pick up some money, maybe have a big day out.
Or get out asap and concentrate on the league?
I got the feeling from DC’s post-match interview, that at this current time, the FA Cup has come at a bad time and could be seen as a hindrance.
Thoughts?

Weird how I suggested a few weeks ago that we ought to be playing 3-5-2, and got battered for it because apparently we don’t have the players to play it 🤷🏼♂️ Although I may not have had the exact players that are playing, it definitely suits us at the moment, mainly because we can get our midfield playing their best positions and dictating the game better!
Just need to get the strikers firing and we could find ourselves on a little run.
Good to see Nichols finally getting some praise too, the last few home games he’s put in a very decent shift, getting assists will hopefully lead to goals as his confidence builds (like Steve touches on).
Both Clarke’s for me have had outstanding seasons so far imo, with all the doom and gloom, they’ve both been the rare shine of light! Hopefully it starts to spread.
