Out of interest, has anyone actually confirmed that WAQ has actually been reported and on what grounds? G1981 states that he has had it confirmed but doesnt name his source perhaps we could ask him?

Currently in Morpeth Northern Premier League..Very ambitious club who have plans approved for a super all weather training facility The final phase would see the development of an indoor training facility that would enable senior and junior players to use Craik Park in all weathers. Gary Munday, joint chairman of the seniors and chairman of the juniors, said: “These improvements have been drawn up to accompany the great standard of football currently being produced at the club. “The concept of a 3G pitch and indoor training facility that the community can use as well as the club is a very exciting prospect. This will also help with the development of our younger players.” We'll have to sort something out soon as we have to move out of our current facility at the end if the season. Tick tock. Believe we have to vacated by the end of March unless we can agree an extension

Should Starnes fail to return may I propose that gas head 1981 be asked to stand in as he appears to have all the answers to our current problems ?

They were good friends off the field as well.Big John never stood for any messing about if you wanted his autograph.I think he was also a school teacher so he when he put his arms out in front of him you knew he had to queue in single file.He never left before signing all our photos Unfortunately at one game at Ashton Gate Atyeo invited his friend Geoff Bradford to the game.He had 2 complimentary tickets however the gate man .on recognizing Bradford refused him entry unless he paid.Atyeo was so disgusted he never set foot in Aston Gate again ( source the Atyeo family)

Yes but at least Wael pays Uk tax and so has no restriction on the number of days he can stay in the UK unlike Lansdown

I attended an AGM where Dennis was challenged on the costs at the Beeches for our loan players. He was opened and stated the charges made were cheaper than anywhere in the area with comparable facilities,I cant recall the figures but it certainly satisfied the questioner

HP were looking for a site to base their manufacturing sales and service activities in the 1980s.I believe it was between the UK and Mexico .Margaret Thatcher placed a compulsory purchase order on the land(Walls Court Road farm) owned by my neighbour To this day she complains they were given a derisory amount of compensation with no spin offs if the land was later sold on for building and this is exactly what happened with HP making millions a few years later

Perhaps the future of the UWE complex will decide by the members of the Merchant Venturers Bristol Branch I suspect some well known names from UWE and the 82ers will be on that list

Confirmed by a mangoes director last year. This is why no friendly was played against the 82ers.Our game provides vital cash flow for teams like the mangoes ,Yate etc Spend millions of pounds on players but fleece the local semi pro teams.Absolute disgrace

It was confirmed at the AGM that there is a sell on clause for the snake. Also BCFC not only knew the release clause figure but all the other details of his contract as well .The deal was described as "shabby" and the unprofessional .Mark Ashton appears to be the chief suspect Also whilst Taylors agent was hawking his clients services around the EFL last summer he employed a personal trainer for 3 weeks and tried to submit the bill to us.He got the appropriate response

Confirmed that the Checkatrader competition will still be with us next year.Chairmen had agreed before hand that they would vote against only to change their minds when an extra million pound was added to the prize money(which disappointed SH).No fines for fielding an under strength team so we could field our 23 side if we wished. SH hoped the format would be more regional

OK it was only an agricuutural tractor with a side mounted heavy duty cutter but it had removed most of the ground scrub and bushes and was working on the perimeter hedging when I passed by. No doubt the club has heard of the fearsome reputation of Almondsbury ornithology society so is taking out nesting sites before our feathered friends move in and delay the project.Anyway it looks a lot better than it did yesterday

Mansell and Macca to Cheltenham. Both played well in the reserve fixture up there a few weeks ago and the short distance from their homes would suit both

Helen Ainsley is a senior planning officer and ,I think , the most senior. She was lead planner for the UWE application so I am not sure it would be a good idea ( in terms of career progression) for a junior planning officer to object to her recommendations
