Thanks for the write up Steve. Does anyone else think we should look to play some of our fringe players instead of our loan players to see the season out? Might as well. Blood the young 'uns. Do them good. Good points. As Luke James is unlikely to be allowed to play against P'bro (unless they INSIST that he does ) maybe he should go back early and we experiment for the last three games. Nothing against LJ personally but even if he managed to score a couple before the seasons end, I'm not convinced he's the one to pin our hopes on next year. Just my opinion.

Amazing how they seemingly have lost their way after looking like odds on certainties to win automatic promotion for so long in 2016 Well I would expect nothing less from a team with a very rude and offensive 4 letter word in the middle of their name. What's wrong with 'thor'?

Tell your spy that by the time he told us the missiles had launched, they would have landed. Or he would do if he was still around to tell the tale. The fence was completed last weekend. I went up there on Monday morning and other jobs were being dealt with. It seems strange that only one half of the boundary has been fenced. I know that's because the other half is secure, but for the sake of aesthetics it would look better, but then there is the cost of course. Not true at all. I drive past it twice a day and the fence was completed either today or yesterday. I genuinely can't remember which as one drive to and from work blends with another but it was certainly no longer ago than yesterday. Went up there today for a look. The narrow lane down the side of the site (Woodlands Lane) was still being fenced at the bottom end, opposite the adjacent private bungalow, at around 1.00pm.

He's going to be running marathons in Europe within five years didn't you know ? Running one? He'd struggle to eat one! (Only us old 'uns may understand this).

Just an observation but our final 10 league games (starting yesterday) are against teams that play in Blue. Not that it means anything at all. It's a long time to wait until Tuesday!

Classy player, leaves with total admiration, respect and honour, best wishes for the future! Now thats how you leave a club, through the front door, with your head held high.

Not that I think we'd do this but could you agree with a club to release a player from his contract (pay them to pay him up so he becomes a free agent)? No. The player must be a 'free agent' before the end of the transfer window.

That is 2 points dropped IMO. Especially with Scunny and Bolton coming up. scunny have lost 2 and drawn 2 in their last 4. not a bad time to play them actually! Also, Toffolo sent off today.

The owner of Forest is a clown, not sure how you can even think about comparing Wael to him, regardless who's on Wael's back on social media, stuff posted on Twitter to him all seems quite pleasant. As far as DC getting all he wants, if that is the case perhaps he needs to up his game as it's obvious now his summer recruitments weren't the best. Agree summer recruitment was poor...I think DC took his eye of the ball with promotion and then his stag-night, wedding and honeymoon and by the time his brain was back in gear the season had started. Last summers recruitment was very underwhelming. The inference that if we can't get who we want in this window is ok, as we'll put that right in July, is not something I have a lot of confidence in. Transfer deadline day and more recently transfer windows, are always "other teams" opportunities to improve their squads and generally pass us by with very little to get excited about. Hopefully our no.1 goalkeeper target is still out there and is itching to get here when summer comes.

I would like to see us sign Danny Grainger from Carlisle. Don't think it would ever happen though as he is 30 and never played further south than Cumbria before!
Does he only play home games then?

Gone on loan to Eastleigh. Not a very progressive move for a 21 year old with ambition.

I asked Wael on Twitter this morning if there was any imminent news on the stadium. To my surprise he replied "all quiet on that front". It seems the wait will continue. Pretty Sure Wael said recently that any announcements will be made by the UWE not the club, so the ball is in their hands so to speak.... No. What Wael said was that he would not make the announcement, but those involved in the process, i.e. Michael Cunnah and Lee Atkins, would.

Why is kick-off so early if it's not on TV? On police advice because there is a big fireworks display not far away, this evening.

not surpirsed he hasnt turned up for training, would you go to work without being paid? One of Geoff Dunfords big gripes was that even when players contracts ended on June 30th, the club still had to pay them until the end of July. If that's still the rule, MT should really be training today (unless he's got a sick note from his mam).

Villa away would be my pick. Nah. We have never won a game played in the city of Birmingham.

Remember seeing sky divers landing on pitch, so unless they was a regular feature, I was there! That was the Watney Cup Final when a sky diver landed on the centre spot with the match ball. I was there as well.
