The Rec has a capacity of just over 7,000 and as seanclevedongas says away section holds just over 1500. If we win the next 2 home games, im very convinced that, with a short journey up the M4, we would take over 1,000 as we did on Tuesday.

Not sure why we got jusy 750 tickets when Aldershot can accomentate a lot more. Are they getting scared? Alderhot can get normally 2,000+ for home games. Hopefully if, we can sell the 1st batch of 750, then more tickets will become available. If Eastleight can accomendate 1,000 of us so can Aldershot!

If Rovers can aviod defect in the next 4 games, then who reckons we should make our game at Aldershot a Gas Invasion Day? In season 1973/74, an estimated 8,000 gas invaded the Army town. So let's go up there and show them what support really is! Im up for it if everyone else is.

Just heard from a good source, that the current holder of the No9 football shirt could have played his last game for the Gas. I have been lead to understand that the players name is no longer to be ironed onto any of our kits. This player was observed leaving the Mem before Tuesdays game after finding his name was not on the squad sheet.

would Turley & Trottman be able to play as a unit? Could this be the best centre half pairing since Stuart Taylor & Mike Green in the 70's!

Looking at the pictures of that incident on Saturday, I think there quite a lot of gasheads who will regonise the individual who done tne punching. For those who do know him, my advice is for them to get in touch with him and persuade him to keep away from the Mem and away games for his own good. Hopefully he would had relised by now what he has done and will impose his own ban. You know who u r!

I was just venting my anger but stand what i said about going away. There are those who go to all away games, despite the poor performances we are seeing away at the moment, bar Forest Green. We should not be be going to clubs like Altrincham and Braintree and lose. Maybe the players of these clubs played above thier normal games, but we should be as strong as them, even stronger because our players are full time professionals, whereby players from most of the the teams we will be playing are part timers. If the team plays like they did on Saturday, i beleive the we could the on the end of a 4/5 nil hammering at Lincoln. Tommorrows game with Wrexham could be very interesting. Suddenly, we are now looking at games "We Must Win". This is not the atitude we should be adopting. The players have to go onto that pitch full of confidence! Lets hope we see something different tomorrow as losing is not an option.

Following yesterday's diabolical and inept performance by our so called football team, I have decided not to go to any more away games for the foreseeable future. I don't see why I should waste hard earned money by watching this load of rubbish. Hopefully, there are others who be following my example.

Just read a strange one - Lincoln have made their home game against us "All Ticket for Away following", and they given us an initial allocating of just under 1500 tickets.. What makes them think we will take so many?? Apart from that fantastic play-off semi-final game in 2007, we have never taken more than 500 to any games at Lincoln. Maybe we should make this a "Gas Invasion" match??

They missed one - January 1956, Bristol Rovers humble the Busby Babes 4 - 0 at Eastville.

So, no happy hour after the game. Guess all the bars will be empty by 7pm tonight. Our loss in bar takings is someone else profit down the Gloucester Road!
