Didn't realise. Was just going through the player ratings page and Norton pointed out that it was The Beards 100th appearance for The Rovers. Congratulations Mr. Sinclair. It is an honour and a privilege to watch you representing my beloved club (albeit through a computer screen). Long may it continue. Fear The Beard. UTG! Well said you. I think that sincs is playing the best football I have seen him play since he arrived in our conference year. What I like about him; - He never stops
- He never gives up on lost causes.
- He often out jumps far taller players.
- He does have a not inconsiderable amount of skill, pace and ability.
- His determination is incredible - he never gave up his dream of League football - thank god.
- He does score goals.
- Distinctive beard.
- Loves playing for the Gas - or so it appears.
- He has a pleasant interview technique and delivery.
- When the team do a huddle before the match, he actually cannot stop his legs moving.
- I think he is an enigma.
Also remember when you were young, or maybe you still are, and you squashed an ant to kill it. It lies apparently dead for a while and then on leg or an antennae begins to twitch and then it seems to get he other legs twitching and before you know it; up and running around again. That is Sinclair when he has been injured.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs R Sinclair.

I truly hope it will come to back both Taylor and City. Taylor was admired for his goals but not particularly liked. He was looking for the best deal in the summer and he screwed us around. He did not think his move through properly and he won't stay there if they go down.
I do believe City bought him to dent our chances, take the heat off Johnson, and try to ridicule us. It was a selfish thing to do from both parties.
What has happened - we are getting stronger, defensively magnificent, and DC will sort the strikers out. Broken our away hoodoo and won with a clean sheet.
We are getting stronger. City and Taylor are not.

Don't know how I managed to post the letter Z it ain't a sleeping symbol as that would be on the UWE thread!! I predicted we will finish on 66 points a couple of weeks back so I will stick with it who would have thought we would be where we are this time last year UTG How disappointing - I loved your Z. It conveyed so much in just one letter and now, having been so intrigued by it, you tell us it's a mistake!

Just changed over from another forum - became all about city! Great news that finally we have some cover for Browner, he probably injured himself for a rest. I was impressed with Harris against Scunthorpe. 5 draws says something ain't working up front and I would love to see him try gaffney and Bodin up front. The only thing we have to lose is getting a win! Let's hope City lose tonight. Perfectly acceptable use of city in this context, thank you for reminding me, let's hope they lose well though, just lose....want LJ in place to ensure relegation.

I have watched Ellis for a few years now, he has a good eye for goal, great ball skills and some tricks in his locker, he always looks ready to deliver a great pass or wonderful strike. For example on Saturday he leapt up to tap in from a cross which he did with a trick shot..... wonderful. The only issue is that he does all this in warm up and then the slightest bit of pressure or having to think quickly; all gone. He has become a very costly and ineffective luxury, other than at Northampton. The problem with that is 4 goals in one match, which we won without conceding. If he had scored 1 goal a game in the last 4 we would be 8 points better off!
